BB Curve :: Lost All Connection To Bluetooth
Jun 4, 2012I puked my phone and lost all connection to Bluetooth, now my car is saying that my phone is authorized but it is still not connecting, the car book says that there should be a screen that asks for the Passcode and that it should be entered into the phone as well, but the car doesn't ask for this, making me think that the car still has the Passcode put in originally but the phone has lost it, how do I get up a menu to enter the Passcode?

Jul 16, 2010I am in West Africa for a while and have a UK network which has worked fine. I upgraded my software when i connected to the device manager and installed. Since then i have been unable to get any emails. I usually use my WI-FI connection, which is till working but i cant get onto FaceBook or emails it just says no data connection available. I can send text messages and make calls but no emails!! its drove me mad so i reverted back to the old version from my Data backup and installed that, thinking this would help, but it still hasn't. I have never had this problem before. I tried to take out the battery and chip but nothing. (not sure what i was version i was updating but the phone says V5.0.0.592) if that means anything!! Thanks in advance to those clever people!

Jul 16, 2010Why can't I forward emails that I receive from the internet? When you forward the email the images and some of the text are lost. Even if you save it as a draft you some of the content are lost. Is there maybe another email app that I can use (just not K9, doesn't work).

Feb 9, 2012After the update downloaded and while my two email accounts linked to my Blackberry still show up under email setup (under setup icon), I'm no longer getting emails. One email (gmail) icon shows up on my main screen but my other email acccount icon is gone. I thought I'd setup my emails again but when I go into email setup, both account addresses are there and both asking for a password (?). I even tried to change the password but, when I use the help instructions how to do this, there is no menu items for what the help suggests I try. I can't even delete the email addresses to try again.

Feb 6, 2012I upgraded my OS this weekend to 6.0. I cannot send or receive emails on my device now, nor do I even have the icon for my email accounts anymore. I tried to go through setup to verify them, but I keep getting a messag that says, "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again."
I used to be on an enterprise server, but no longer use that email, but I have always been able to continue using my other accounts. I don't know if that makes a difference at all, but I mention it so the response I get doesn't include activating my enterprise server.

BB Curve 8300 :: 8350 Lost Email Sound
Jun 24, 2010I reformatted my BB on Monday, and reinstalled it from backup. Before that, when I'd get an email notification, the LED would flash red and a tone would sound. Now, nothing. I have it set up correctly, and even took it to the store today to see if they could figure it out. All other sounds/notifications work fine, except for email.

Feb 9, 2010I have a curve 8300 which used to be connected to my mobile account through my former employers BES which worked perfectly. I have now left the company so have switched it from BES to BIS using the same mobile service provider. Emails are not synchronizing properly between handheld and laptop and I am told by mobile service provider that this is likely due to the 'email settings' not being set up correctly on my handheld. The problem is that most of the fields that should be appearing under options/email settings on my handheld are missing. The device software has been wiped and reinstalled but problem remains. Any ideas on why I am missing some of the fields and how I can get them?

Feb 2, 2010I have a very big problem about 8310, as for a sudden I have lost my email application with no reason and I couldn't receive send email at all. I have contacted my service provider and they have helped me to check in many methods that would help to fix this even check my IEMI and Pin number in Canada and there was nothing wrong with it. Today I double checked in every application and I found I have no certificates details at all compare to the other BB.
I start to check this because it seems my provider doesnt recognize my emei and pin number. I have tried many times to delete email setting and reset. Jan 23, 2012I've lost all Internet capabilities on my C7; it happened two weeks ago when I went to the middle of nowhere and had no reception whatsoever, upon returning to civilisation the normal phone reception returned fine but the Internet and email will not work at all - it won't pick up previously recognised wi-fi networks and won't connect through my WAP either.
It has happened before but always came back within a day or so, but as said this has now lasted two weeks and absolutely nothing.
BB Pearl 8100 :: Lost My USB Connection
Jan 7, 2010After a year and a half of working just fine, my Blackberry 8110 will not connect to my PC via USB. I am using Windows XP Pro ver. 2002 SR 3 and Desktop manager Ver 4.3.0.17. The phone does not appear in Windows device manager when connected, desktop mgr reports no connection and cannot detect the device when prompted. After a hard reset the charging icon appears on the phone momentarily when first plugged into the PC then disappears and will not reappear without another reset. I can charge the unit with an AC charger until I plug it into the PC. After that it is unresponsive to the charger until reset. The phone is fully charged. I read a thread about fiddling with the connection at the phone end of the USB cable. I was able to get an intermittent connection using this technique (or at least the charging icon appeared intermittently), but now that does not seem to make any difference. The AC charger connection is completely solid when I move the plug around. I have removed and reinstalled BDM, no change.Several weeks ago I installed a USB driver for an M audio midi interface and had a great deal of difficulty getting that device to work. I don;t recall whether I have synced the phone since then. I am wondering if that created some sort of conflict or if it somehow corrupted the driver. Other obvious causes are the USB port on the phone or problem with the phone OS. I have tried both USB ports on laptop and both immediately recognize a thumb drive. I don't know how to update/reinstall the RIM driver since the phone other than remove and reinstall BDM which I have done. I am reluctant to wipe the phone without some confidence it will resync. Also thought about switching to bluetooth sync but would rather not buy gear if the phone is KO'd.
