Had Playbook since last spring. After updating to 2.0, can no longer connect to any internet - Wi-Fi, Blue-tooth or BB Bridge. Error message is 'connection has timed out" or can not find connection when sitting in known hot spot!
View 1 RepliesI've lost all Internet capabilities on my C7; it happened two weeks ago when I went to the middle of nowhere and had no reception whatsoever, upon returning to civilisation the normal phone reception returned fine but the Internet and email will not work at all - it won't pick up previously recognised wi-fi networks and won't connect through my WAP either.
It has happened before but always came back within a day or so, but as said this has now lasted two weeks and absolutely nothing.
I added international calling to my AT&T plan. It lost the ability to connect to the internet via the AT&T cell network, although it could still make phone calls, and could still connect to the internet via a WiFi network.After three weeks of attempts to fix this myself, I eventually called AT&T. The tech support people were very friendly and helpful, of course, and eventually discovered that my cell-to-internet privileges had been rescinded because they thought someone might have stolen my phone.

Last night I tried to update my software on my Iphone 4s. I lost internet connection during the night, and now my phone is stuck with the apple logo and loading bar. I cannot turn off the phone, or back it up because ITunes says it is locked with a passcode.Â

suddenly, friday of three day memorial holiday iphone internet connections are off or down. can no longer do search using bing, google or yahoo. debug console "no errors" error i get is "cannot open because server stopped respondig." i have had times could not connect to Internet ( i now appear to have lost Internet favorites that were there yesterday. itunes and app store connections fail. yahoo weather and the weather channel has also failed. ap and my yahoo have failed. facebook and pandora have almost always worked, well i think pandora failed once. i checked carrier, i never changed anything like this and all are correct.i do not see dns options.i have had this 3g version 4.2.1 for years now without this problem. i did not travel out of country in fact have not left present location. i may have deleted a datatbase in safari that were old. i reset network connection, shutdown phone some things may work for a while but there are still features in safari that fail such as search. did i pick up malware>

View 15 Replies View RelatedMy phone will automatically prompt to confirm the request for Bluetooth connection from the CK-7w when I turn the car ignition. When I accept the prompt it would connect. For reasons unknown when I try now it emits two beeps from the car kit and does not connect. No messages etc. I only noticed that when the prompt appears the blue tooth symbol on the phone has two ellipses around it. When I push the phone button to accept the connection a light appears to flash where the confirmation symbol normally appears and then 2 beeps and ellipses disappear from blue tooth symbol on the phone. I updated to the latest firmware on about 6 March 2012 to resolve drop outs etc.

Restarting the car and therefore the carkit makes a new connection which breaks up again after 5 minutes. My other Nokia phone stays connected all the time.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWith my N95 and N97, as soon as I turn on my car (equipped with Nokia CK-100), I automatically get connected to BT HFP and A2DP profiles. The car kit will tell me, "Phone connected." A second later, "Player connected." With the N8, the car kit will only connect to just the phone automatically. For the player to connect while the car is on, I have to open up the music player and play a song, which will then force N8 to make the A2DP connection. So when that happens, you hear a 1.5 second message saying, "Player connected" followed by music that is already 2 to 3 seconds into the song. I thought it was perhaps the Car Kit getting full with the list of paired devices (memory is for 8 pairings), but clearing the list doesn't help. I thought it was the Car Kit firmware, so I upgraded it to 4.401, no luck. Then when I paired my old N97 and N95, both HFP and A2DP connections were made automatically when I boot up my car as expected! But not the N8.

Everything worked perfectly for a while - music, calling etc. but just recently if I try to use voice dialing, if I hold down the control key on the earpiece to initiate voice dialing it gives some slow beeps, disconnects and loses its pairing connection to the phone. Now I have to go back - delete the headset and re-pair them again!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my torch 9800 on launch day. i loved this device and definately felt like i was upgrading from my old device (iphone 3g). as much as i love the capabilities of the device i have run into a few issues, specifically network issues. it all started on sunday when all of a sudden i lost connection to the blackberry servers(the little logo in the corner was gone..) i went to at&t on monday and they could not figure it out. apparently my service book for the blackberry internet service got deleted(i didnt even know what a servicebook was lol) so i went home later that night and downnloaded the at&t software and reinstalled the os and this worked. then all of a sudden today, my fb was acting up, so i deleted the app. then i lost the connection again... do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? im currently reinstalling the os as i write this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter a year and a half of working just fine, my Blackberry 8110 will not connect to my PC via USB. I am using Windows XP Pro ver. 2002 SR 3 and Desktop manager Ver 4.3.0.17. The phone does not appear in Windows device manager when connected, desktop mgr reports no connection and cannot detect the device when prompted. After a hard reset the charging icon appears on the phone momentarily when first plugged into the PC then disappears and will not reappear without another reset. I can charge the unit with an AC charger until I plug it into the PC. After that it is unresponsive to the charger until reset. The phone is fully charged. I read a thread about fiddling with the connection at the phone end of the USB cable. I was able to get an intermittent connection using this technique (or at least the charging icon appeared intermittently), but now that does not seem to make any difference. The AC charger connection is completely solid when I move the plug around. I have removed and reinstalled BDM, no change.Several weeks ago I installed a USB driver for an M audio midi interface and had a great deal of difficulty getting that device to work. I don;t recall whether I have synced the phone since then. I am wondering if that created some sort of conflict or if it somehow corrupted the driver. Other obvious causes are the USB port on the phone or problem with the phone OS. I have tried both USB ports on laptop and both immediately recognize a thumb drive. I don't know how to update/reinstall the RIM driver since the phone other than remove and reinstall BDM which I have done. I am reluctant to wipe the phone without some confidence it will resync. Also thought about switching to bluetooth sync but would rather not buy gear if the phone is KO'd.

Since then i have been unable to get any emails. I usually use my WI-FI connection, which is till working but i cant get onto FaceBook or emails it just says no data connection available. I can send text messages and make calls but no emails!! its drove me mad so i reverted back to the old version from my Data backup and installed that, thinking this would help, but it still hasn't. I have never had this problem before. I tried to take out the battery and chip but nothing. (not sure what i was version i was updating but the phone says V5.0.0.592) if that means anything!!
