My company had to wipe my BB and now I do not have the option to 'create or add an email address'. The only option is to 'use a work email account with a BES'. How do I get that option back?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a curve 8300 which used to be connected to my mobile account through my former employers BES which worked perfectly. I have now left the company so have switched it from BES to BIS using the same mobile service provider. Emails are not synchronizing properly between handheld and laptop and I am told by mobile service provider that this is likely due to the 'email settings' not being set up correctly on my handheld. The problem is that most of the fields that should be appearing under options/email settings on my handheld are missing. The device software has been wiped and reinstalled but problem remains. Any ideas on why I am missing some of the fields and how I can get them?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI switched blackberry curves (same models 8310), and I used the switch device wizard on Desktop manager.I've lost my email and browser icons and when I try to get to an internet app (ie. facebook, yahoo), I get an error message stating that I couldn't connect because data service is not available. I was able to access the internet on my other phone.
I've checked the following:
- Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table (register and received activation text)
- Options > Mobile Options > Data Services is ON
- Removed the battery
Any other ideas? I am receiving phone calls, texts and my blackberry messenger app is working.
I have lost the SMS text icon overnight and the ability to receive and identify SMS messages. I removed the battery and all the obvious re-boot operations. But I have got the following message "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointer Exception". Does this mean anything to anyone and is there an easy way to reinstate the facility?

And, I lost my "Options" and "Compose" icons, which is like the most important ones! I read all suggestions here. It is not hidden, it is not in another folder, it just gone. Now when I change the Theme, I do see it, but all my work is gone, and I like my current Theme of Sprint. Any idea how to restore my lost icons on my current Theme? Look like a BB common problem.

Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
I have had a notification icon for email on my phone for weeks. I deleted all messages yet its still there. I evenhad my phone replaced for another reason and its on the new phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter the update downloaded and while my two email accounts linked to my Blackberry still show up under email setup (under setup icon), I'm no longer getting emails. One email (gmail) icon shows up on my main screen but my other email acccount icon is gone. I thought I'd setup my emails again but when I go into email setup, both account addresses are there and both asking for a password (?). I even tried to change the password but, when I use the help instructions how to do this, there is no menu items for what the help suggests I try. I can't even delete the email addresses to try again.

Click set up wizard then email setup. And only one is appearing in my device which says: I want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server.
The Email Settings : add more account envelope is missing ! I activated my host route table 100% fine, but I cannot set up a personal email, only a enterprise one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just updated a blackberry 9300 to OS6 and found some issues regarding the email settings. Here are the issues I've found
1. Somtimes, it takes a very long time to load up email settings. For this , I clicked on "Settings", and then "Email Accounts"
2. Under Email accounts, it is obvious that there are 2 types of emails, one being enterprise, and one for the other types. I wanted to add an emaiil account, however when I click on the first option , nothing happens.
I tried to do some research about this, and came accross articles saying that I need to install "Email Settings", from the desktop manager. So I did, but apparently , it gives me an error that there are dependency issues, which means that I can't install "Email Settings" afterall.
i recentley had a fault on my phone so blackberry/orange sent a new hanset i backed up all blackberry messenger contacts hoping to resore them but i cat figure out how to change my email to my new handset ive tried to type it in im now in attempt 3 :s.
