After upgrading to version 7 I lost one of my email icon on the home screen for 1 of my email acounts. I am still receiving messages from that accont but they go to the general mailbox for messages, not my individual email box. My other 2 email accounts have their folders and icons available
how to restore that icon to my home screen?
I did not back up my new photo album to my laptop. So I did a version upgrade and lost all my new photos.

I upgraded my device OS yesterday, and lost my email accounts. When I tried (a gazillion times) to setup the e-mail accounts (comcast and yahoo) I get the fiollowing message when I click the verify button: "Sorry, unable to continue your session. log in again."

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy email icon (the one associated with an email account added via Blackberry Internet Service) has disappeared after upgrading the Blackberry Device Software via Blackberry Desktop.At the same time after the upgrade Email Setup does no work. Clicking on the setup icon -> email gets the clock timer for 1 second and then nothing.I've now downgraded back to device operating system 6.0 bundle 905 which has made the email setup icon workagain but no email icon has returned.I've requested the service books which have been successful, but no icon. I've removed and reinserted the battery.I can read messages from the general message icon which shows email is getting to the device but I'd prefer the original functionality of a seperate email icon per account appearing in the All Icons section.I think 6.0 bundle 2647 seems a liitle flaxy or something got corrupted at upgrade.

So when the hinge broke on mine recently, I bought a refurbished VX8350 in excellent condition. The only problem is the software version that's on the phone is 2.0 and the latest available version of the software is 4.0 which fixed several bugs on the phone and improved call and speakerphone clarity.I brought my replacement phone into Verizon today and they told me they no longer support the phone and no longer have the software upgrades for the VX8350.Is there any other means of burning my phone with latest firmware version the VX8350?

I tried to update my BlackBerry Messenger and when I hit upgrade it gave me a white screen, I took the battery off the phone to reboot it because it was stuck on that white screen, once I turned my phone back on BlackBerry Messenger was no longer there, I can't find it anywhere in my phone, and when I go to the APP world it doesn't let me "upgrade it" it says "Please try again later" I've tried to "Upgrade" multiple times and it doesn't work.

When I upgraded my wife's iPhone 3G to 5.1, I lost all her contact information and she ended up with mine.
During the upgrade process, I thought it backed up her data. But it doesn't seem to be available to restore. Isn't that a normal part of the upgrade process and shouldn't it be available somewhere?
Unfortunately, she did not sync this data with any application.

Is there any way to recover my phone number lists? The update even stated in one screen that the contacts would not be touched, but I now have no groups and mostly suspect phone numbers.

My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! Issue: After upgrading to version 4.6.0.282 the ring tone volume is very low, even when the profile setting has the tone set to High I often miss the call, I have tried turning on "Audio Boost" with no change, tried a hard re-boot, no change. Volume of calls are fine, it's the ring tones, I have the same ring tone in use as before the O/S upgrade so this hasn't changed, no other (new) apps have been installed, just the O/S upgraded. I can't find any sort of master volume control setting in any of the forums is there such a setting, how do I get the volumes back to normal?
I recently updated the software on my Blackberry Storm 9500 to version 5.0 and now i cannot send mms (though I can still receive mms).I have spent over 4 hours on the phone with my carrier (Vodafone) and they have no idea why I can no longer send mms. I tried downgrading the software and found I could send mms again.Is there any way of fixing it so i can have the newest version of software on my Blackberry and still be able to send mms?

View 1 Replies View Relatedafter updating to the 5 version for my iphone 4 the screen went blank, nothing would work and the itunes said error. tried again and same thing happened. couldn't bring my phone back to life so did a restore on it. that worked but lost everything and the itunes said if you do a restore it will bring back the contacts on it etc but no. All the apps have gone, my contacts, notebook etc.I have tried syncing back to the itunes to pick up the music again and it will only do 1 song, then says there is an error and won't upload anymore, it just freezes. I have deleted icloud thinking that might be the problem as it was updated and was added. but no change.
