Aug 1, 2011I just updated my Atrix 4g with Gingerbread 2.3.4 and it fried my contacts lists. I had over 150 phone numbers that were trashed to 34 and some of these were even munged. Is there any way to recover my phone number lists? The update even stated in one screen that the contacts would not be touched, but I now have no groups and mostly suspect phone numbers.

Oct 8, 2011I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 which I was working fine with 250 contacts and 20 memos. I just updated my software to 5.0 1596 and when I was synching my blackberry with my computer I got the following message " The following changes from address book microsoft outlook will be applied t your device data in address book - 233 additions". When I click accept the sync stops and I got an error message - 0x80040fb3 and I only have 4 contacts and no memos.

It says to buy the app on my phone but im scared if i click that then log in that it will recharge me.

Apr 15, 2012When I upgraded my wife's iPhone 3G to 5.1, I lost all her contact information and she ended up with mine.
During the upgrade process, I thought it backed up her data. But it doesn't seem to be available to restore. Isn't that a normal part of the upgrade process and shouldn't it be available somewhere?
Unfortunately, she did not sync this data with any application.

IPhone :: After Upgrading Ios5 On 4 Contacts Disappeared
May 31, 2012Yesturday I upgraded my iphone 4 to ios5. When it was done and my phone turned on none of my apps were able to start, the only apps that worked was 'safari' 'messages' and the other apps that came with the phone. After an hour or so my apps started working by them selves but thats when i discoverd that all my contacts were gone. I've been checking out my safty backup that is on my computer (pc) but if i restore my phone the ios5 upgrade will be lost and I would have to re do it with the risk of even worse result. how do i restore my contacts? I disconnected icloud from my phone and want to sync it with my computer but outlook is not an available option to sync with. The default setting is to sync with windows contacts. But when I did that it just created an empty contact with my name and picture of a flower. I also have the option to sync with google contacts and yahoo adress book but if I change there is an error message that says that it will affect all units connected to windows contacts so I don't know if I should change or not. I also tried to create a random contact but no contacts came back, the only thing that happend was that my pictures for the dissapered contacts automaticly ended up as picture for the new contact.

Mar 1, 2012I tried to update my BlackBerry Messenger and when I hit upgrade it gave me a white screen, I took the battery off the phone to reboot it because it was stuck on that white screen, once I turned my phone back on BlackBerry Messenger was no longer there, I can't find it anywhere in my phone, and when I go to the APP world it doesn't let me "upgrade it" it says "Please try again later" I've tried to "Upgrade" multiple times and it doesn't work.

If I try USB connection, the OS crashes while trying to install phone software (windows 7 pro, Dell Inspiron 6400). I have uninstalled and re-installed all nokia software on the PC and still got the same results. Even without PC suite, the phone does not connect through the PC bluetooth anymore.

Jan 6, 2010I am using the nokia 6700 classic and when I select "recently used" to populate the To: field of a text message I get the same 4 contacts every time. It seems to have stopped updating at some point, because even if I select new recipients from my contacts they do not get added to the "recently used" list. This is sort of a annoying, so I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem or found a solution. I would rather not do a factory reset of the phone if I don't have to.
My firmware is 10.50.
