BB Bold 9700 :: App World Icon Disappeared After Downloading Latest Version?
Jun 23, 2010I cannot find the BB App World icon. I think it disappeared after I downloaded the latest version. I have deleted and re-downloaded. I have looked in every folder. I have downloaded and replaced the existing version. I have re-booted by taking the battery out, etc. The software is in my applications. I have gone through every folder clicking on show all also.

Jun 24, 2014I updated my iPhone to the latest version (7 point something) but my iTunes no longer recognizes the phone when I connect it via USB. The iPhone permanently shows the connect to iTunes logo but does nothing when I do connect it. I'm using a Windows PC as the platform. When I open Devices in Control Panel, there's a small yellow exclamation mark icon next to the Driver, it says in recovery mode...Â
I cant reboot the phone because the Home button is bust.Â
At this point I'd be happy if I could simply get the phone to work properly again - even if that means I have to use the old iOS.Â
I've tested the USB cable and its working 100%Â
I've updated iTunes but that didn't workÂ

Jul 12, 2010I do really have serious problem. I have nokia N900 which is U.S.A. I was trying to update through flasher, then the phone doesn't complete booting I mean just stuck on booting. I did try another version, and also doesn't work. The phone only accept one or tow version which is a Global RX-51_2009SE_2.2009.51-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM and Middle East version RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.42-11.003_PR_COMBINED_003_ARM. Just accepting the old version. When I update to latest version, it just stuck for more than 4 hours on the 5 dots or booting.
I did read almost or all the posts talking about this problem and no one worked with me. I did flash it with EMMC first then OS but also nothing happened. And when I flash with the old global, the phone boot up and work fine but when I check the IMEI there is nothing show up. And there is red line on the top on the sim card. I tried many SIM card. But nothing work. I hope I can find solution.
NOTE: The phone out of warranty.

I checked my applications list and it is showing as installed...I even downloaded the newest update for FB and still the icon is missing.

Dec 11, 2014I have used my Icon fine with the Preview for Developers version of WP 8.1, until the latest update.Since then, I've had trouble booting the phone when doing a soft reset (it took 3 cycles of going to the red Verizon screen, sitting there for a minute, rebooting on its own before it loaded WP). Also, I had an issue with the lock screen becoming unlockable, and looking like a screenshot of the start screen... kind of hard to describe, but the Start screen slid up like the lock screen, but without the keyboard to unlock. That's happened twice in the last few days and I had to do soft resets (which led to the issue mentioned above).
Today, the phone spontaneously just rebooted itself, while sitting unused on a table. Very odd, haven't seen that before.I should mention that when I first installed the update, I got a Blue Screen error when it booted up, and I had to reboot manually.

There was an error updating your software. Application Loader was unable to connect with your device. Restart the loading process, reconnect your device and try again.
Unspecified error encountered [A:0x00000001]The phone reboots with the old software and all works fine. I presume its best to wait for a program temporary fix or just not load the software at all.
