Each time I try to upgrade to the Blackberry App World 4.0. Version, it always shut down my BB/freeze and I will lose connection. I have tried this on several BBs. Error message is usually "Your session has expired and you have been logged out."
View 3 RepliesI have a facebook account already set up for a while now. Now that facebook has the stay connected with your smartphone I have tried to connect my phone with facebook. I get a link sent immediately and everytime I try to install I get a message that reads your session has expired. This is within a few seconds of clicking on the link. I received this phone from my husband and believe it is already installed as I receive notifications from facebook on my blackberry but can not respond as I have to sign in. When I go to login, it will not allow me to. What the heck is with Blackberry or Facebook?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my Bold 9700 from OS 5 to 6. I managed to resolve most of the issues associated with the upgrade, but one that I'm still struggling with is the App World. When I go to My World it keeps saying that I need a Blackberry Identity upgrade. I did install it yesterday, or that's what it said yesterday, that is was installed succesfully. But now it asks the same questions agin. I had a lot of trouble to install that. At first it did not want to install at all, but I read on another thread on this forum that I should change the TCP/IP settings APN type to Internet. The error I got then was 80003. The solution seemed to work because the installation completed. but now it asks again to update the identity.

I tried upgrading it again, reboot, then it's still not there.I also tried deleting it in the application management, then download it again, reboot, and it still didn't work.I can't upgrade any application in my phone right now.

When I try to download or upgrade from app world or anywhere else, I see ' an error has occurred, try later'. I have about 235Mb memory space. Have tried hard rebooting, downloading during less dense network periods but in vain.

I have downloaded and replaced the existing version. I have re-booted by taking the battery out, etc. The software is in my applications. I have gone through every folder clicking on show all also.

Issue: After upgrading to version 4.6.0.282 the ring tone volume is very low, even when the profile setting has the tone set to High I often miss the call, I have tried turning on "Audio Boost" with no change, tried a hard re-boot, no change. Volume of calls are fine, it's the ring tones, I have the same ring tone in use as before the O/S upgrade so this hasn't changed, no other (new) apps have been installed, just the O/S upgraded. I can't find any sort of master volume control setting in any of the forums is there such a setting, how do I get the volumes back to normal?

So when the hinge broke on mine recently, I bought a refurbished VX8350 in excellent condition. The only problem is the software version that's on the phone is 2.0 and the latest available version of the software is 4.0 which fixed several bugs on the phone and improved call and speakerphone clarity.I brought my replacement phone into Verizon today and they told me they no longer support the phone and no longer have the software upgrades for the VX8350.Is there any other means of burning my phone with latest firmware version the VX8350?

As soon as it was done I wanted to check it out.I started the app, went through some of the required entries and then got to the legal page where you need to agree or disagree. Well of course I agreed.The paged said please wait (Hour glass) and voila I'm back at the agreement page. Humm, okay let's agree again, and again, and again, and again. Well it appears my clicking of agree doesn't register as an "AGREE" so I think the update didn't work right.
Delete the app and download it again, and again and again, and still unable to get pass the legal agreement page. Okay lets email BlackBerry support for help. weeks later I have no reply.

The installed software version is 5.0.0.351 with platform 5.1.0.98 and branding version 1.0.160.529q.I have read in this forum that there is a later version of the os available yet when I utilized the BB desktop software updater, it say that the latest version is installed. Is this correct?

When i use my camera all i see is a black screen and when i use the video camera a color test screen shows up. When i take a picture nothing happens. No flash. I am able to zoom into the darkness.And the error, Sorry, unable to continue you session keeps coming up when i try entering my email password in the setup for email accounts. I just did a wipe to try to get the camera to work.

Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either.
