BB Curve :: Work Address And Email Will Not Sync

I have a black berry curve and my new work email is <Personal Content Removed> and it will not sync for me to get emails on my blackberry. I tried using the enterprise and the internet options and does not work. When I use the enterprise I do get an immediate email from blackberry but nothing ever synchs. When I try using the internet option is just says it is invalid.

I have multiple email addresses on my phone (Work, School (2), and Gmail). I have set my work email as the default under default services under advanced options. If I am in messages and I use the menu to compose a new email, the correct default email (work) is used.

However, if I am browsing my files, like a picture, and I use the menu to select send as email, it will attach it to a new email but it will be my Gmail address, not my default work address as the from address.

I have double checked and my work email is set as the default. Does anyone know how to fix this? This is not a battery pull problem either... It has been this was since I got the phone, and on my replacement as well. I reboot the phone often so its not the standard do a battery pull answer.

Xperia X10 :: Automatic Sync Of Email Accounts Doesn't Work - No Sync - No Notifications

From time to time, I experience that my Xperia X10 does not automatically sync e-mail accounts (using the supplied/standard e-mail application). I've set up a number of e-mail acocunts (6) with different update rates ranging from 15 to 60 minutes. I can go in to one of the accounts, whereby it syncs and I can see that I have received a number of new e-mails (for a period more than 6-12 hours, without receiving any type of notification.

This is really annoying since I miss important emails. What can be done to ensure that they sync automatically and that I receive notifications?

BB Bold :: Have Duplicate Contacts For Both Email Address's And Now It Wont Sync At All

I have just synced my new blackberry bold 9780 with my pc via the desktop software.The first time it synced no problem as all but I now have duplicate contacts for both email address's and now it wont sync at all. Comes up with an error saying yahoo server is temporary unavailable.This happened with my old blackberry too and I never did manage to get it solved as Vodafone was saying its Yahoo problem and yahoo was saying it was a vodafone problem.

I have 4 Gmail addresses on my BB Bold and the main account is missing the "email name [SYNC]" in the service book (I accidentally deleted it I think). Since I'm having issues with syncing already I figured I need it but I'm not sure. I resent all service books, but this particular one is still missing.

Ever since I activated BES (so that I could sync email/calendar with my company's MS Exchange server), I have been experiencing a couple of email-related issues that I did not have previously:
1)When composing a new email or trying to add another contact to an existing email, when I type in the name of the person, the email address auto-complete function does not work. It does work when I am sending SMS, MMS, and searching through my Phone Book, but does not work in email for some reason. Even if I manually type in the correct email address, I do not have a option for the email. I can only reply to email or go through the Phone Book and selection the phonebook entry. I have done the phone book quickfix several times without any success.
2)My calendar events are not showing up in my BES email folder both sent or received calendar notices do not show up for some reason. I have re-sent the Service Books from BES a couple of times to no avail.

So I want to start syncing my address book and calendar. I really want to to sync my calendar as a back up. I notice my BB still deletes some entries even tho I have it set to NEVER delete entries.I use Live.com (Hotmail) for my email if that makes a difference and I have about 4 or 5 different email accounts.

I've recently recieved a new Curve 8520 after the screen on my old one smashed. However, when I recieved the new phone I found I was unable to add my email address, or any other address for that matter, to the phone so I am now unable to actually recieve any emails whatsoever. When I attempt to do so, I get this message "Unable to log in. Please check your information and try again". I looked on the Blackberry support video for this and I'm missing about 3 or 4 screens out of the setup process. Rather than go from Create or add email address to agreeing terms, mine goes directly to asking for a user name and password and whilst I have a user name and password with Blackberry these don't work, despite being able to log in online with this same info. I've tried restarting the phone to see if this is a glitch but the problem remains.

BB Software :: Yahoo Email Sync Does Not Work?

I am using Bold 9700 on BIS. Yahoo email does not synchronize the messages when read or deleted from the desktop online account. But it works the other way around. (when I delelte or read a message from the web email it stays unread on the device and I have to go and delete it or mark it as read manually). I have to do everything twice, specially that I am reveiving like 50+ emails every day in yahoo account only.

the email reconcilation configurations are
Delete on: Mailbox & Handheld
Wireless reconcile: On
On conflict: Mailbox wins

I called RIM and they said it should work 2-way, yahoo also it should work. I called Rogers, the tech support told me her device does like that. and all what she did was telling me change the configuration, save, change them back, and save again. and surely nothing of that worked.

I tried my yahoo mail, and other accounts, on iphone and HTC and they worked well both ways. I really am not sure why people claim that blackberry are the best email handler! a lot of people suffer from sync problems, and there is no IMAP folders support on BIS!

I just got the Curve 9300. I can't seem to sync the contacts and calendar with my Mac's BB Desktop Manager. It shows the message, "... turn off wireless synchronization by opening Address Book on the device... etc." There isn't such an option available.

Trying to set up my email address I get as far as Email Set up but the only menu option shown is 'I want to use a work email account with a BB Enterprise Server' cannot find any other but there is a scroll bar do the right hand side of menu window-do `i need to scroll down? I have a Bold 9700 and a Curve 8320.The Bold has, for want of a technical term, borked. It was in an endless reboot loop and I couldn't do anything to get it out of it.Anyway, I've put the sim card into an old, unlocked but still fully working Curve.It connects to the network fine - ie I can get SMSs and access the web via the browser.But I can't setup my email.You go to the add email page. It says: 'A new Blackberry device has been detected. You must move your email accounts to receive email on this device. To move an email account, you will need to type the email account password. At least one email account must be moved to set up email on this device.'<It then list my two email addresses>'Email delivery to your old device has been stopped this point you can't add a new email address (I can't find any way to add a new email address)If you click cancel, it totally cancels.So, you can only click 'Move email account' You do that, it lists the current email address with a space to enter the password, then click 'validate' So I've done that - the password IS correct.But every time, it just says: 'An error occurred while accessing your account. Please click below to try again. Link: Access Another Email Account'If you click that link it takes you back to the start and you go around in the same circle.So I'm left not being able to validate any of my email addresses - or being able to add a new one.

partner has just had to exchange her handset because it wasn't working correctly. She is using the same sim.She had already added her email address on the old handset and adding it on the new handset is proving to be a problem.When she tries to 'add email' it comes up saying 'existing users' and asking for the user name and password. When we type in the full email and password it says 'Blank user name. Type a valid user name'We have tried just typing the first part of the email without the '@whatever.com' bit on the end and it says 'connecting to email settings' and then 'the information you provided is incorrect. retype your user name and password. Your user name and password are case sensitive.
