I've recently recieved a new Curve 8520 after the screen on my old one smashed. However, when I recieved the new phone I found I was unable to add my email address, or any other address for that matter, to the phone so I am now unable to actually recieve any emails whatsoever. When I attempt to do so, I get this message "Unable to log in. Please check your information and try again". I looked on the Blackberry support video for this and I'm missing about 3 or 4 screens out of the setup process. Rather than go from Create or add email address to agreeing terms, mine goes directly to asking for a user name and password and whilst I have a user name and password with Blackberry these don't work, despite being able to log in online with this same info. I've tried restarting the phone to see if this is a glitch but the problem remains.
I have a new blackberry and have given my old one to a friend she has put her Simi in and has managed to connect her WI-FI but is unable to connect her email as it keeps coming up with my email address, bbm also doesn't work it says cannot connect to server, does anybody know how to get it to work?
When I send an email from BB and the person on other side replies the to field shows just my email address instead of name with email address. At first I thought it was because they didn't have me as a contact but that wasn't it.

I'm trying to add an email address to my BlackBerry. I have (I think) followed the instructions on my Curve 9320, but keep getting the message: "cannot log in. Verify your email address, user name and password.
When I try and set up a new email address I get a "Update Failed" error message. The email address is valid and works fine on my computer. The same email address also worked fine on the same Blackberry device previously.
Is their a way to have more than one email on your 8330 Verizon? I already have one yahoo that is sent to my phone and I want to add another one. Is there a way?
New to Blackberry I am finding my way round slowly. Trying to set up my email address I get as far as Email Set up but the only menu option shown is 'I want to use a work email account with a BB Enterprise Server' cannot find any other but there is a scroll bar do the right hand side of menu window-do `i need to scroll down? How do I do that?

I have a Bold 9700 and a Curve 8320.The Bold has, for want of a technical term, borked. It was in an endless reboot loop and I couldn't do anything to get it out of it.Anyway, I've put the sim card into an old, unlocked but still fully working Curve.It connects to the network fine - ie I can get SMSs and access the web via the browser.But I can't setup my email.You go to the add email page. It says: 'A new Blackberry device has been detected. You must move your email accounts to receive email on this device. To move an email account, you will need to type the email account password. At least one email account must be moved to set up email on this device.'<It then list my two email addresses>'Email delivery to your old device has been stopped this point you can't add a new email address (I can't find any way to add a new email address)If you click cancel, it totally cancels.So, you can only click 'Move email account' You do that, it lists the current email address with a space to enter the password, then click 'validate' So I've done that - the password IS correct.But every time, it just says: 'An error occurred while accessing your account. Please click below to try again. Link: Access Another Email Account'If you click that link it takes you back to the start and you go around in the same circle.So I'm left not being able to validate any of my email addresses - or being able to add a new one.
I just bought an already used BlackBerry Curve 5530, and the ex-owner already had his email address in it. I'm trying to change it to my email address, but it wont let me. When i go on the Email Setup icon, it tells me :

partner has just had to exchange her handset because it wasn't working correctly. She is using the same sim.She had already added her email address on the old handset and adding it on the new handset is proving to be a problem.When she tries to 'add email' it comes up saying 'existing users' and asking for the user name and password. When we type in the full email and password it says 'Blank user name. Type a valid user name'We have tried just typing the first part of the email without the '@whatever.com' bit on the end and it says 'connecting to email settings' and then 'the information you provided is incorrect. retype your user name and password. Your user name and password are case sensitive.
When I try to set up blackberry ID, It keeps saying my email address is invalid. I registered on this website and used that same email address and password and it continues to deny my access.

when i was creating my blabkberry id i typed in .con instead of .com i cannot remember my password and when i go to log in its sending new password to an email address that does not exist how can i fix this???
bb curve want 2 set an email account on bb but on ma home screen no icon diplayed 4 email, only plain envelope z dere who tell me 2only save d draft...... secondly when i click set up i didnt get d icon for personal email account set up wen i click on set up wizard further den email set up dre z no option for " i want to create or add an email address" only dere z option 4 "i want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server"....

I have just purchased the curve 8520.... First of all i cant register an e-mail adress, where it asks you to choose an option the only option i have is "I want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server"... I have ran a diagnostics test and in the report it says.... Blackberry Registration : No Connected to blackberry : No Blackberry pin-pin : No Could this be an issue? How do i register to be connected to blackberry?
One of the reasons I bought a Blackberry is because you can send and receive emails on it. I bought a new 8520 blackberry and I cant set up an email address! Ok, I went through the set-up wizard, and when it got to the email part, there is supposed to be 2 options: I want to create or add an email address and I want to use the blackberry enterprise server
My blackberry only has one option..the enterprise server one. Now I don't work in any office environment, so this is of no use to me. I want to use the first option, that my phone doesn't have.
prob is that me and a mate both have the bb 9300. both with 02 and the same data plan.but when i put my mate bb pin in it tells me i have an invalid email adress but on my mates bb they put my bb pin in and it says pending but nothing comes through on my phone.either phone has no probs addin other ppl can any1
I got a device update from Verizon that wiped out my email accounts. I couldn't add the blackberry email address associated with my device back to the phone because I don't know the password. I created a new blackberry email address, but when I try to get updated in AppWorld it still wants the password from the old address. When I request a password reset it sends the information to the old email address which I can't access because I don't know the password.
Does anyone know how to change the email address associated with my device OR how to have the password reset info sent to a different email address?
I go into the setup> email account and when I click on it, the message just says "your device had a problem connecting to the server" I have connected to my wifi and also I have got 3G signal
how to reload an email addresses, I loaded the address in my phone and it worked for one day then stopped synchronization, I did everything suggested but in the end I had to remove the addresses, and try to reload them, one went in and is now working correctly the others keep being rejected.
My daughter set up her Blackberry ID with a slight mistake in the email address. This has only just caused a problem as her screen froze so she removed the battery and had to re-input the password and cannot remember it. Of course the password reminders are going to an invalid email.I have set up a correct Blackberry id for her now (on the computer) but cannot change it on her phone as the original password for the incorrect email is required!I've tried to google and I'm sure it's simple but have a distraught daughter who cannot BBM her friends!Is the only solution to wipe it?
