I cannot connect to the internet, when I click on the brower it doesn't do anything. When I go into my Blackberry App world it seems liked it is locked as all it says is "signing up" and it will not allow me to close the browser for that
View 1 RepliesIf I restart my phone, my internet brower gets defaulted to the telus web page. When I press the menu button the "go to" button is gone. My "go to" button for internet browsing is there when it isn't on the Telus Web page. In the telus web page i can't get to google or facebook or anything. How do I get my "go to" button back in my browsing. I have both a Internet Browser and a Telus Web icon, but both go to the telus web page- still with no "go to" button in the menu.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought a refurbished BB Storm 9530.. now the problem I am having is that I cannot connect to the internet.When i was looking around I could not find any brower. I then went and tried to do the network diagnosis, and it pretty much failed all of it. I purchased this off of amazon.com and so far i love it. I only wish that I could access the internet with it. I am currently using T-mobile, and I am pretty sure I have a data plan on my account.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI switched blackberry curves (same models 8310), and I used the switch device wizard on Desktop manager.I've lost my email and browser icons and when I try to get to an internet app (ie. facebook, yahoo), I get an error message stating that I couldn't connect because data service is not available. I was able to access the internet on my other phone.
I've checked the following:
- Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table (register and received activation text)
- Options > Mobile Options > Data Services is ON
- Removed the battery
Any other ideas? I am receiving phone calls, texts and my blackberry messenger app is working.
My browser icon is missing. As a matter of fact, if I keep the blackberry key pressed. the icon appears but it reads , 'your device does not currently have any browser configuration service book entries. pls contact your service provide. Last whole week I have been with Vodafone (india) guys to sort this problem out.. but in vain. I even got my OS updated. yet the browser in not there. However, my mails and messenger work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is my first post. I write to you after several weeks of frustration with my phone as well as a million calls with Rogers customer support.
My problem :
1)I cannot browse the internet using the internet browser both on wifi or Roger's data network
2)Facebook app cannot establish a connection to the server
3)When I use the Browser app it will work for like 10 minutes but then all of sudden the internet just stops working.
I believe all of the three observations listed above have the same root cause. What is odd is that BBM works, my email works, BB app world works, I can even browse with the web2go browser - just not the three items I have described above.I really don't want to restore my phone because i have paid apps and i don't want to pay for my apps again.
My failed troubleshooting attempts so far :
1) Removed battery and sim card + reboot. Done it 1,000,000 times - no success
2) Resend service books - no success
I am at ends with the situation.
its been a month and still my blackberry bold 9700 internet is not working good.everytime when im using it , it'll work but if i didnt use it for awhile , it'll stop working . everytime i try to anysite, it'll be like loading but than it'll close the tab and put me back to homepage and bookmarks.everytime i have to restart my bb than i can use it again, maybe like everyday upto 10times i had 2 restart the fone which kills my battery very fast?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have BB 9780 and 8520.I can connect to my wifi at work and it works perfectly with the little bb logo showing.However at home, i can connect to the wifi, but can not get on the internet.i have tried re-setting my wifi router and also resetting my BB phones to factory default nothing seems to work though. All other devices at home (pc, mac, iphone, ipad other nokia phones etc) works semalessly at home wifi.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got the new Bold 9900 a couple of weeks ago, and everything was working fine, but then a couple of days ago, everything just seemed to stop working. On BBM, whenever I try to send a message, the little red clock just appears, and I'm not seeing anybody's recent updates. My emails aren't coming through & none of the internet based apps are working. I've tried the hard reboot and reinstalling all the apps but nothing has worked.I've also done the Host Routing Table registration stuff but have not recieved any message. When I click on the service staus option, under the Blackberry Enterprise Service option, it says 'not connected'.

Tried trouble shooting the camera and was able to get it to work momentarily by putting my finger in front of the flash but that only allowed me to take black photos so i think the lense is shot. After several minutes of the bar "requesting" the message comes up stating " A communication failure occurred with the selected Mobile Data Service. The server may be busy, please try again later. I recently deactivated my Blackberry Bold 9000 (v4.6.0.304 operating system) from AT&T since I ported my cell phone number to US Cellular who had better coverage in my region. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

I can get it up and running for a short period if I reboot the phone. I have checked that BIS is connected. Roaming data services are on. I have cleared the cache, cookies, and history from the browser. I recently upgraded the blackberry messenger service and these problems seem to have started at about the same time. Is this a coincidence? Perhaps it is a problem with my service provider?
