BB Storm :: Cannot Connect To Internet / Could Not Find Any Brower

I just bought a refurbished BB Storm 9530.. now the problem I am having is that I cannot connect to the internet.When i was looking around I could not find any brower. I then went and tried to do the network diagnosis, and it pretty much failed all of it. I purchased this off of amazon.com and so far i love it. I only wish that I could access the internet with it. I am currently using T-mobile, and I am pretty sure I have a data plan on my account.

I cannot connect to the internet, when I click on the brower it doesn't do anything. When I go into my Blackberry App world it seems liked it is locked as all it says is "signing up" and it will not allow me to close the browser for that

I switched blackberry curves (same models 8310), and I used the switch device wizard on Desktop manager.I've lost my email and browser icons and when I try to get to an internet app (ie. facebook, yahoo), I get an error message stating that I couldn't connect because data service is not available. I was able to access the internet on my other phone.
I've checked the following:
- Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table (register and received activation text)
- Options > Mobile Options > Data Services is ON
- Removed the battery
Any other ideas? I am receiving phone calls, texts and my blackberry messenger app is working.

If I restart my phone, my internet brower gets defaulted to the telus web page. When I press the menu button the "go to" button is gone. My "go to" button for internet browsing is there when it isn't on the Telus Web page. In the telus web page i can't get to google or facebook or anything. How do I get my "go to" button back in my browsing. I have both a Internet Browser and a Telus Web icon, but both go to the telus web page- still with no "go to" button in the menu.

I am using Blackberry Storm 9530 and recently bought Blackberry Playbook aswell. When i tried to bridge, i was surpriced to see to a message "This application is not available on your device or for your carrier". Is there anyone who has already downloded the bridge software? or knows how to do it?

i cant connect to the internet without wifi and i have tried adding my friends on BBM and it just says pending they have tried adding me and all they get is an error message. i have tried registering to the host routing table but have not recieved anything back how long should this take to work?

I just spoke with those from verizone wireless and they said that a verizon device is unable to connect to the internet outside of USA. My blackberyy 9530 storm bought from ebay is unlocked and works fine on gsm network here in Spain,but i have no internet... i wonder if is because what they said or just my blackberry is mesed up?

Brought my first BB yesterday,a Storm 2 as I hated my iphone - however my BB days could be numbered as first impressions are not so good !Got it unlocked through Vodaphone onto the Orange network as my Iphone contract still has 20 months to go !I cannot connect to the internet unless I am at home and connect through my wifi ?I get "This is a wifi service.Please ensure your device has an active wifi connection and try again "Is this one of many problems that I will get as i am on orange and not Voda ?Also can the memory be increased for music etc ?

so my dad has the 9530 on Verizon, and he has like a tethering plan or modem plan or something like that. He connects his phone to his laptop with a USB cable and gets internet on his laptop.I've been trying to connect to his phone through bluetooth and get internet. BTW, I have Windows Vista 32-bit, if that helps.Anyway, I can't figure out what to do at all..I downloaded VZAccess Manager, I downloaded BlackBerry Desktop Manager (Because my computer had been trying to install device driver software and I thought that would fix it, yet it still asks to find device driver software). My computer is paired to his phone, but I'm lost now.

I have a storm2 (9550) that I bought from a friend. My friend's service carrier was Verizon Wireless (USA) and my Carrier is ATT (USA). I have unlocked the phone and works perfectly. I do not have a DATA Plan and do not want to use internet through ATT. The first couple of days I had the phone I was able to connect to the internet through my home's WiFi. But on the third day when I finally unlocked the phone and used my ATT SIM card, I could not connect anymore. Everything else works fine. My home WiFi profile gets recognized on my BB but does not connect to internet. (Failed to obtain an IP address). Could it be that ATT is blocking my WiFi connection? Or is the problem still within my BB and router?

I just downloaded Version 6.0.1 Desktop Manager Software for my PC....Went into Organizer and tried to configure my settings and I keep getting the message "Cannot connect to the Internet" message. My configuration is as follows:
I have a PC laptop running Windows XP latest software O.S.My blackberry is the Storm 9530 running the latest software On the blackberry, the wireless settings are turned off for Calendar, Contacts, and Memopad.I am able to connect my blackberry to the Desktop Manager software and I can transfer data between the two.
On the PC, my firewall settings "Expceptions" allow for the Blackberry Desktop Manager access to the Internet.I do not know how to check to see if the Desktop Manager software can auto access ports 80 and 443. But, I would assume if the software is in the "Exceptions" area, internet access should be ok.I'm at a loss as to why I cannot "Connect to the Internet"...

I have just bought a Storm 2 9550 that is from Verizon USA. The device is GSM unlocked, and I am using it from Hungary on a local carrier. I am in the middle of a carrier change that has Blackberry services, however I currently have 3G web access on my actual carrier. However, the integrated browser that came with the phone, does not allow me to use the 3g network, only WIFI service. I cannot even set it to 3G on the browser options tab, as it only offers "hotspot browser".
Is there any way I can find a http browser that supports the 3g network, so I could surf the web on this carrier until I complete the carrier change? Is there any on Blackberry App world? I didnt manage to find one.
Also, I would like to have a POP3 client on my device that can communicate through 3G with a pop3 mail server, as the integrated email messaging software that Blackberry device software 5 offers is only capable of having a mail account through a BB service provider.I am very staisfied with the device itself, great for managing calls, and multimedia - did not face any crashes at all (maybe once when I wnated to take a picture and it frozen when the flash lit up).

My browser icon is missing. As a matter of fact, if I keep the blackberry key pressed. the icon appears but it reads , 'your device does not currently have any browser configuration service book entries. pls contact your service provide. Last whole week I have been with Vodafone (india) guys to sort this problem out.. but in vain. I even got my OS updated. yet the browser in not there. However, my mails and messenger work.

I have looked everywhere and i cant seem to find any drivers. the blackberry website seems to say that they are on windows update and I can find them but i don't know how to extract them. Basically, i have a custom built pc and windows 7. All usb ports have been tested with other devices. I tried the desktop manager 5.0 and 4.7 and that doesn't recognize my BB. Windows says that i have connected an unknown device.
I tried rebooting the device and pc and removing the battery from the device. All to no avail.
Someone please tell me where to find it, give me steps to get it working, or where to find a self extracting driver. Also I downloaded the RIM blackberry smartphone driver from the windows update site and it still says it didn't install correctly

I juz received a blackberry storm 9500 from my sister, and I don't know how to connect it to wifi (I'm very new at this). I've tried google and found different answers, ranging from "storm 9500 cannot connect to wifi", to "i have one and it can connect just fine". I can't find the wifi option in the "manage connection", and there is no browser icon on the home screen either.

I've bought a N97 mini and I'm very happy with it.However in the past week until now, I can't connect to the internet unless i connect via wireless lan.With GPRS i can't.I open the browser, it shows me on the top left corner the phone is trying to make a connection and then hangs up after 3seconds.
1 - I've check the definitions with my service provider
2 - I have tha latest firmware
3 - I have made a hard reset..

I am having trouble fixing my BB Curve 8520, I can connect to my Wi-fi (home) but everytime I use the browser it says Cannot connect to the internet. I updated my blackberry ap world after trying to switch devices. I had an old bb pearl and now have a storm 9530. Since trying to make the switch I can't find the icon for bb app world. I've wiped the phone, restored it, battery pulls but it's still not showing. When I go into options and applications it's there. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it's still not showing up.
