I am trying to get into the setup for my Hotmail Account and when I select the option for Internet Mail Account to get into the "settings" it does not move forward. But if I select Enterprise Account it moves on to the next screen...I have reset the blackberry and it still does not allow me to get into The Internet Mail Account!

I have followed the instruction by entering setup and clicking Email Accounts. On that screen it allows to me two options Internet Mail Account & Enterprise Account. However when I try and click the Internet Mail account nothing happens, it does not let me use this option. I have tried the Enterprise Account and it says "Status: initialzing service" but nothing is happening. (been like this for 30mins)

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BB Bold 9780 recently went under to software wipe outs and then had the software uploaded due to JVM Error issues and a blackberry 102 error. Since then i have not been able to get the email wizard set up to accept my password so that i can activate my personal email account. i have a data plan so that is not an issue, but everytime i try to log on i get this message "Sorry, unable to conigtue your session. Please log in again." i have tried this numerous time, have sent the registration again then rebooted to no avail

The problem I have is with the 'Internet Mail Account' option within the Email Accounts in setup. When I click this option, nothing happens. The option doesn't respond to my click.
I know that I have workaround to setup email account through some links in internet and I have already setup my gmail account through the link. However, I would like to have the facility to add a new account through my mobile itself.
I suspect that the problem is due to an incorrect / failed update of 'Email Setup Application'. The version I have is 6.10.0804.1543
Is there any way to get this program updated ? or to get the 'Internet Mail Account' option working in my BB ? I am unable to delete the program through Application Management as the option of Delete is not present.
When I click on internet mail account it takes me back to the set up page what shall I do to set it up?

View 1 Replies View RelatedE-mail reconciliation is not working for me with my Gmail account. When I read an e-mail on my BB, it isn't being marked as read in my Gmail. It also isn't working the other way: when I read an e-mail on my computer, my BB doesn't mark it as read.
How can I fix this? E-mail reconciliation in my options is already turned on.
I have a HTC ONE With Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5. Suddenly the e-mail sync stopped working on my primary mail account. I have tried out every thing and even done an factory reset on my Phone. Have tested this mail account on other Devices and there is nothing wrong with the e-mail account.

Both msn and gmail 's icon dispeared and i don't get emails pushed to my blackberry any more. I already erased both msn and gmail accounts on BB and re-setup, doesn't make a difference. the msn worked fine on my 9700 until i switch.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm in Uruguay (South America), my sevice provider is Ancel. I work for Tata Consultancy Services, and I want to connect to im.tcs.com mail server. The problem is that apparently I can't get my APN settings to work properly. I've called my sevice provider many times but their plain answer is that they don't offer blackberry support, even though they should be able to help me configure APN. I've also called blackberry support from Tcs, and they say that I should talk to my service provider to configure my maiil account.

I can use my gmail account and Mail Xchange accounts but the problem is only with yahoo.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had my yahoo email account set up on my BB Bold 9930, with it's own icon. Suddenly, it is gone. I do have a separate email account on an enterprise server. Both were running fine for months.
1. I tried going to my email>options>email account management>set up email account
The account is now listed as existing, but the emails (or icon) are not showing anywhere on my BB. Emails are not showing up in the main email inbox.I also marked SHOW ALL ICONS and also looked in all folders for a separate Yahoo icon like I had before. Nothing.
2. I tried downloading a Yahoo mail app
I cannot find any that do not give me a "app not compatible with BB 9930"

It was setup through the email client on the bold and not through the website (stc.blackberry.com).verytime i try to login it says username/password is incorrect, though i am sure it is correct. I had previously tried to create the account through the website, but an error of "Your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Please use your device to access BlackBerry Internet Service". That error occurs even if i use the Bold 9900 browser or and other browser for that matter. The email account sends an recieves emails, but i cannot access the settings via the website on the phone or pc.

I go in to Setup > Email Accounts and tap/click on Internet Mail Account, however it does nothing. I have previously used this feature to add/amend email details. It allows me to click on Enterprise Account, but when I click on Internet Mail Account nothing happens. Have rebooted device a couple of times and get the same problem.

All of a sudden, my Alias mail account name is telling me that the password or account name is incorrect.So I go into SETTINGS as the button appears for it, and I hit it check all the settings and the settings are fine, nothing has changed. I have not had this problem in over 5 years! Is this a symptom of iCloud going full, taking over MobileMe? I cancelled my MM account 3 months back and have not had any problems. Why has this problems suddenly started appearing? I was looking at the mail in the ALIAS account from the alias account. Now I am looking at it through my main account, which is also reacting slowly due to this problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI love my new Z5 compact but it seems to me that Sony changed some stuff regarding text selection (I guess due to the text lense they added). Beside that I don't really need a lense (who does?) it changes the behaviour and leads to some really annoying limitations when working with documents in some apps.
Example: Evernote (because I guess many users use it)
Try to select more then one line text :-) Works on several other old and new Android devices... not on my Z5 compact sadly.
When I try to verify my password the setup email account shows the internet and enterprise accounts as it should. When I press the internet mail management icon, it just throws me back to the setup screen. It is in a loop.
