IPhone 5s :: Frozen During Installation Of IOS 8.1.2 Update

I have an iPhone 5s 16GB that has been installing the new iOS 8 update (8.1.2 I believe?). After being prompted to install the update, I agreed to the terms & conditions and hit "install." After seemingly flying through the first 9/10ths of the update, the progress bar under the Apple logo has not moved for a solid few hours now. I have not had this problem with previous updates. Is there any action that I should/can take without wiping everything from the phone?
received automated message re latest update to iOS this morning via iTunes. Connected iPhone, downloaded update, started to load to 'phone then it stopped with the status bar (below apple logo) on 'phone ~85% complete.
how to deal with an iPhone app that has frozen in mid-update without deleting it and re-installing it? I don't want to loose the saved data in it but it just won't play ball...
I attempted to do an ios update tonight...I think it was from 5.0 to 5.01 (not sure). It went through the downloading process and I believe it was at the point of restarting/installing, not quite sure, I wasn't totally paying attention. But then I got a message from iTunes saying that an unknown error occurred and the update could not be completed. Now my phone appears to be completely screwed.
I'm left with a screen on my phone that has the iTunes logo at the top and below is an image of the iPhone USB connector. I can't get away from the screen...turn off/on, hard reset, etc all takes me back to that same screen. What's worse, my iTunes is no longer showing my phone as an option. It's like my phone is no longer recognized at all. I've unplugged and plugged it back in several times. I've restarted iTunes, restarted my computer, etc.
So about 20 minutes ago I connected my iPhone to my computer and iTunes prompted me to update it. I accepted, but as it was applying the updates some type of error popped up. Long story short, it failed to update and now when I turn on my phone it's frozen with the screen showing the USB cord & iTunes icons. I've tried: -Shutting it down by holding the sleep/power button-Shutting it down by holding the Home + sleep/power button-All of my USB ports on my computer-Reinstalling iTunes As soon as I turn it on, it briefly shows the Apple icon then it goes back to the same screen with the iTunes/USB icons. When I connect it to my computer it makes the connection sound but it won't register on iTunes.
Does anyone know how to fix my iphone as right now its an expensive paper weight,as all i can see is the screen that states plug into itunes, and when I do it states needs restoring, I try this and comes up with an error 6 .
Last night I received a software iOS 7.2 update for my iPhone 5 and iPad. when the software was nearly completed both the iPhone and iPad froze. I can't even turn them off now. What should I do?
my phone is requesting i do a update. i have tried to do it over the air but it is not giving me the option to do so. When i select the update, press options it just says update on pc. and i have a mac and am unable to find the update software. there is no option to start update like normal. is there any way around this?
This morning I downloaded and started to install the latest iOS software update and the phone has frozen.... I have the screen with the apple logo and the bar graph the has stopped half way along during the installation phase... What do i do.... I cannot contact apple support cause they want a serial number which I cannot get while the phone is frozen...
I updated my IOS overnight and this morning tried to go through the setup. I got stuck on the terms and conditions page and now am unable to press next.
I tried to update from 6.0 Bundle 2342 to 6.0 Bundle 2647 and during the installation, it will update to a certain module and then freeze. An hour later, I will get a pop up that says there is a problem with my internet connection and the options to retry or cancel. I hit retry and the update will run a little further, then freeze again. At this point it's been 3 hours, and I've gotten as far as 357 of 578. This is the first time I've tried to update, and I did a back up right before I attempted this update.
I trying to update to ICS 4.0.B update released sometime back but getting a Installation error in updating. ICS 4.0A is very annoying making my RAY to Slow, lagging and Automatic Restart.

My iPhone 4 was in the middle of an update and froze. I tried to turn it off but now it has a blank screen and is buzzing, cannot get it to shut off, or stop buzzing. I did not get it wet, and I have no idea what to do next.

I am having troubles downloading apps on my new bold 9700. When i go to through blackberry app world i get a message saying: A blackberry identity update is needed. Would you like to install it now. I respond yes and then it says BlackBerry identity installation failed. try again later.
Since I installed this update when an alarm goes off I can't turn it off. The fancy new Stop/Snooze buttons displayed (which pulse from left to right) when the alarm goes off don't respond to touch. I have tried a hardware reset, no improvement. I really am a symbian fan but this phone is much more buggy than it should be. Each new update seems to add new bugs as well as fixes. My E72 has Ovi Maps 3.03 (246) installed (I think this was the release last January).A few days ago, while checking the SW Update on my E72, it notified me of a new Important update - Ovi Maps 3.3. I looked at the "View Details" and notice that this is 3.03 (316), so the version number appears to be an update over the previous 3.03 (246) version.I tried installing it (several times) from the cellphone but it always ends up with "Update failed".Searching around the Internet, I notice that 3.03 (316) seems to be an updated version for the Nokia N86 (previously, this cellphone wasn't officially supported by 3.03 (246)).
My phone problem is when i was updating software through the update software suddenly power gone and came then again tried to update,but the update installation failed after that when i tried to switch on the phone the red light coming but there is no display.please help me with this problem. I purchased a card from Amazon last week. I haen't received update yet. The card came with a micro and SD adapter included. Do I need the micro adapter to install the small micro memory card? How do I install the card? Do I have to format it on my PC before installing on Xoom?
Got the Anna update via my phone Update, and after installation, I got the two important updates 1/2 and 2/2. I am not able to install 2/2, but the rest went fine. I have tried a Factory reset

I've been trying to install the new maps application from since its release with no success. It showed up on my software update list but every time I try and install it - the update fails. I've read through most of the other posts where other users have had similar problems and tried to incorporate all the suggestions to circumvent my own problems such as,
1. Performing a hard reset and uninstalling Nokia maps via the application manager on the device 2. Deleting all the map data and voice files before trying the update 3. I've reinstalled firmware version 21.0.045 via Nokia software updater
So I've tried most things to get the new maps version, I live in Dorset and have no Nokia store near me.
When I connected my blackberry to the desktop software, I noticed that there was an update from version 7.0 Bundle 1672 to 7.0 Bundle 2395. I selected Update and now the update appears to be frozen. however I am told that if i disconnect, it could render the device unusable. See screenshot.
