My phone problem is when i was updating software through the update software suddenly power gone and came then again tried to update,but the update installation failed after that when i tried to switch on the phone the red light coming but there is no display.please help me with this problem. There is no display so what should i do?
View 1 RepliesI am trying to control few SE mobile models such as W595, W705 and more in remote via serial module (Hyper Terminal and others). After a period of time where things went smoothly I ran into 2 major problems:
1. Only the first device is installed correctly on the pictures. All other devices identified as "Other devices” and it takes a lot of time (more than 10 minute) till the second device driver are installed.
2. When I run an automation test which communicate with the SE device via serial (using the comport identified in the device manager as management) suddenly the device stops response to the serial commands from any serial tool (my application, Hyper Terminal, etc). What I see is that the device remain identified in the device manager but doesn't response. When I close the serial session and reopen it I get the response of the previous command.
I've finished downloading the software update for my vivaz and now im trying 2 install it but it keeps dropping out any idea on how to fix this so it wont continuously drop out
View 2 Replies View Relateda couple of days ago I tried to do an update on my W995a via the SEUS program (latest version used, downloaded the day I did the update), It got to about 90% then stopped and stayed at 90% for about 2 - 4 minutes then it came up with Update Failed, I've retried the process a few times and all have failed, I've used the repair feature in the PC Suite program to try to fix the phone but it fails about about 90% as well, I had no issues or software glitches with the phone before attempting the Update. The phone now will not load the OS but instead just sits there with the keypad lights on. Is there a solution to this problem? As this is my main phone and the SEUS program has broken it.

First time I had install some "sys" files and "jar" files, but now can't install sys files, now installing jar files and java files only, getting tow type error messages, if the mobile date is correct "certificate expired". When I am changing time to back certificate may not yet be valid, is expired or the phone date set may be incorrect". I am already done formating phone, memory card and updating.

I tried taking the mem.card off & changing the batt but it didn't solve the prob.I used the master reset(all setting) but it wasn't successful because at the midst of the procedure, it turned off.Now whenever I turn it on, it only says "please wait" (probably because of the reset I did) but it would not continue even if I wait for a couple of hours.I tried updating it with Update Service but it failed. View 10 Replies View RelatedI have just started using a W980i, phone works fine, it is on the O2 network, when I am in a 2g signal area i can connect to the internet, use google maps etc, but, when i am in a 3G HSDPA area, identified by the 'H' symbol on screen the phone will not connect to internet, i keep getting a 'connection error' come up, I put the same sim card into a Motorola and it worked fine, so it has to be a setting on the Sony phone, (i have also recieved all current software updates, and the connection settings from o2 & sony, direct to the phone)

Accept from today I have tried to send texts but then find that they are waiting in the outbox saying it will try to resend the message again in a few minutes. I have tried to send a text to other contacts to see if it was a problem with the other person but this still happens. The message wont actually send. I sometimes receive a text saying that "You have a message waiting but your inbox is full" and it says that I should delete my inbox to create space. So i now have an empty inbox and still receive this text... Lastly I have tried to update my phone but this still hasn't fixed this problem! Is there anyway of fixing this?

It used to work fine, but now my computer gives me a "Device has malfunctioned. Please reconnect or replace the device".I have all the proper drivers installed for it but it still doesn't make a difference. I also tried using 3 other cables, and 4 different computers, but it still doesn't work. I think it's a problem with the fast port, and i tried cleaning it with ispropyl alcohol and cotton but it still doesn't work. I even tried using a needle to get some of the residue off the fast port and it still doesn't work.

Since it said that personal data will not be hampered, I did not create backup of contacts, sms etc. After downloading, I got message for updating failure. Have placed music in root directory or card and in music directory. If you try to play filed song again redisplays failed. However you can forward to next song and it will play. I have deleted files but the error is still coming up. This seemed to occur after storing a large amount of data on my 8GB M2 card. I have tasken the card out but the phone still has error. The buttons light up and the phone vibrates every couple of seconds but cannot get past the logo screen. If I can get my phone to sync with my computer in 'phone mode' the repair setting in PC suite may fix this problem but I can only connect in 'Mass Storage' mode.
