Xperia Ray :: Sony Ericsson Make Sound While Turning Off The Camera App

I have noticed on this on my Sony Ericsson Xperia ray mobile phone that it makes some kind of sound on the camera application . whenever I try to take the picture or while exiting the application or if I tab the photo that is just taken . it like the small click sound but it very irritating . I am afraid is this my phone or there are some having the same problem on their phone, whether it's a norm .

for some new Sony Ericsson phones (I know the W995 has this problem for sure) there is no option to turn off the camera sound or the focus sound, even when silent mode is on. Here I am going to guide you through a solution to overcome this.What we are going to do is replace the sound files for the camera sound and the focus sound with a sound which is silent, using A2uploader.
1. Download this .rar file I have uploaded with 3 sound files, namely camerafocus.3gp, camerashutter2.3gp and camerashutter2_rer.3gp
2. Currently you can choose the following sounds
1. Camera shutter
2. Bear can opening
3.Tennis ball
4. Laser
The files in the .rar have been created to replace the Beer can opening sound, however if you want to keep this one, then change the number on the end e.g to replace the Laser sound the two files would be camerashutter4.3gp and camerashutter4_rer.3gp Although please note to replace the Camera shutter sound the number on the end is not 1, but is no number at all e.g. camerashutter.3gp and camerashutter_rer.3gp3.Now you connect your phone to A2uploader (see Tutorial on main website for how to do this) and go to tpa/presets/system/sound and drop all 3 files into this folder. If you want to keep the sound you're replacing right click on it and click 'read' this will create a folder ph_out with this file in it.4.Shut down A2uploader, switch on phone and bobs your uncle!You can also add other sounds, I created a Gavin and Stacey one here but I will happily accept requests for others.Hope this helps! -What are the advantage and disadvantage of the camera and sound ?-From what i've heard at discussion board on FB , Vivaz has so many problems , like the GPS cant use when there's no internet connection, difficulty on opening FB , sound , headphone and etc . My K800i turns itself off every (est.) 10 seconds after I turn it on. I tried taking the mem.card off & changing the batt but it didn't solve the prob.I used the master reset(all setting) but it wasn't successful because at the midst of the procedure, it turned off.Now whenever I turn it on, it only says "please wait" (probably because of the reset I did) but it would not continue even if I wait for a couple of hours.I tried updating it with Update Service but it failed. I tried several times and same things happened.

yesterday, i changing the housing/fascia of my fully working c902 (used a tuturial on Internet) and everything went fine until i finally assembled everything and found out that it wasn't turning on... i've checked everything a thousand times, every connector and piece and all seems normal but i can't solve this problem. there isn't any signal when connect it to the power either. i just feel the battery getting warmer, nothing else (the battery should be fine since i tested with a backup battery which didn't work either).what could be the cause? please, i'm getting mad with this problem, your help will be very appreciated.

I bought the US version of the iPhone 6 in Dubai (facetime isnt available in the local version), is that the reason why my camera shutter won't turn off at all? I tried resetting, mute, earphones in. Nothing.

I have a Sony Ericsson Elm. I use it for both business and personal calls. I see I can set categories of contacts and set different ringtones. What I would like to do is, say, when on holiday/weekends set the phone so that I do not hear a ringtone for work related numbers. I would still like to receive the call (go to voicemail) but not be notified when the call is actually incoming.

I have added my laptop to HandsFree list in my phone. And as soon as I turn on bluetooth on phone, it autoconnects to HF gateway. I don't want this. Can I configure my phone or PC to not do so. I prefere to connect HF not sooner than I will connect manually from phone, I make a phone call, or I play an audio file on phone. As I noticed active HF service limits BT bandwith drastically.

My w595 turned itself off and is now turning on and off whenever I try to turn it on. The buttons light up and the phone vibrates every couple of seconds but cannot get past the logo screen. If I can get my phone to sync with my computer in 'phone mode' the repair setting in PC suite may fix this problem but I can only connect in 'Mass Storage' mode. Can I update the phone in any other way?

I turned my phone off then on. In the process of it starting up it kept on turning on and off by itself. I had no chance to do anything before it wouldn't turn off again. The battery said it was full but everytime it turned back on I could see it was loosing life. I went to plug it in to charge but that wouldn't help as it wouldn't charge while it was turning on and off all the time. I tried to take the battery out. I have taken the memory card out. Now it has frozen with a white lit up screen.

My K850i has brod (vibrates and blue ring & keypad only lightup - it repeats these). I upload /boot folder from backup, but problem same then I reflash main, fs, finalize with a2uploader, but problem still same. Phone not dropped, no sign of hardware fault.

We all know the SE Satio is a mediocre mobile phone but you pay the jackpot of you want to purchase it. For the money people expect a good mobile phone. Those people who buy the phone from the release are realistic enough to know that it may have some bugs or issues but that these will be fixed further on with software updates.
Thus far it had 2 minor updates since it's release. Since it release it had a lot of issues, bugs and shortcomings. Why is a big multinational like SE failing so support of his products? Is it because your focus is more on trying to make your company profitable again? And because of this the support of your many products is just an division which costs money instead of making it? Many Satio customer feel abandoned at this point. Do you think that this the best strategic management? One of the most basic principles of managing a company is getting a core customer base where you can rely on! You are now on systematically destroying a part of your customer base with (atleast) the Satio.
Don't you realize that the customer in times like these are more critical, less brandloyal and above all connected to the whole world through facebook, twitter etc. If you fail with one product this will have it's effect on the sales of the initial product as well as other products. Which will lead to the loss of customers and income. I read so many post from disappointed SE Satio users and there are many people who don't post on internet forums who are unhappy as well.
I don't care what you do with the Satio anymore. My decision is that I move to another brand after about 8 years of SE phones. Many Satio users will do the same. I'm looking forward to your annual reviews for the upcoming years. Maybe you made your company profitable for a few quarters. But as we all know, this kind of management will backfire.

My phone was working good. I tried to update the software using SE update service. When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. But now phone is not working when I try to switch it on, the screen just blinks with a light but no text on the screen. I tried to flash the phone too but it is also not wokring XS++ shows something link this.

I am getting no sound from the speaker on my k800i. I can not hear ringtones, or music. The sound does work on the ear phones, and the phone is not in silent mode. The volume is set high. I can hear the voice of other callers. Any ideas?
