I just connected my iPhone 3G to my computer with the USB cable (Yes I do have 2.0 USB), and I updated it. After that, my iPhone rebooted. Till now, everything seems quite normal.
But now, as it restarted, it shows a picture of the iTunes logo, and a USB cable poiting at it. So I figured out I needed to connect to iTunes. But if I do so, nothing happens.
I manually restarted my iPhone, I restarted my computer, I reïnstalled iTunes, and nothing seems to work out as I want.As I amtyping this, my iPhone just went off by itself, so I think I need to restart it, because it was on for quite a long time with the iTunes logo on screen.
While doing a software update and trying to update my phone, the update was not successful and my phone froze up with a picture of a usb connection pointing to the iitunes logo.

Been trying up update to the latest IOS 5.0.1 on my iPad and iPhone, on two different machines, but always get a "No Network Connection" when I try to download the update.
I have a working Internet connection as all other apps on all my machines and devices work fine.
My friend is in pieces, she has tried to update to 5.1.1. She wanted to sync beforehand to itunes but it told her to update to 5.1.1 so she did and now the phone is frozen. It's telling her to restore her phone. If I tell her to do a hard reset (home+sleep button) will she lose her data that's on her phone right now?

I was trying to update software for my iPhone 5 from 7.1.1 to 7.1.2 but it froze on the apple logo and loading bar. Didn't notice that every video I record after my last update , can only record audio and video the first minute or less and then for some reason playback stops but you can still listen to audio. This has happened to all my recorded videos.
Read somewhere on the internet that you have to delete DATA and clear CACHE on the Camera app, have not recorded any video since then, but will try to see if this works.
I backed up to iTunes before updating iPhone, the update messed up the contacts list, and the backup file is missing from iTunes library.

A friend has been using an iPhone 4 for a while and has now been given an iMac running OS X 10.5.8 (so no iCloud). The phone has just over 1,000 contacts on it and they only exist on the phone. If it's connected to the iMac and in iTunes, contacts are set to sync, will they transfer to the empty Address Book on the iMac or will the iMac wipe them off the phone?

However, when the Blackberry rebooted after the installation, (which seemed to take much longer than normal), the screen reads "Blackberry Platform 6.6.0.195" followed by a listing of all of the programs and apps on the Blackberry. There's also an error message that reads, "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.Null Pointer Exception". When I click "OK" there is another message reading, "Uncaught Exception:ApplicationRegistry.wait For(0xbfca09409ffe99e5) timeout. Then I get another reading, "Uncaught Exception:java.lang.Error" Every application on the list seems to have an error, and nothing will open. But I can't even shut the phone off. I have tried all of the four different reboot methods, but nothing seems to work.
I am wondering if I were to sync the Blackberry with the Blackberry Desktop Manager on my lpatop if it would reset the OS to the way it was before the update.
My Curve keeps freezing while updating at about 60%, with the black screen and BB logo and white bar. I've tried battery popping and letting the battery die, but it keeps getting to 60% and then freezing?

So about 20 minutes ago I connected my iPhone to my computer and iTunes prompted me to update it. I accepted, but as it was applying the updates some type of error popped up. Long story short, it failed to update and now when I turn on my phone it's frozen with the screen showing the USB cord & iTunes icons. I've tried:
-Shutting it down by holding the sleep/power button
-Shutting it down by holding the Home + sleep/power button
-All of my USB ports on my computer
-Reinstalling iTunes
As soon as I turn it on, it briefly shows the Apple icon then it goes back to the same screen with the iTunes/USB icons. When I connect it to my computer it makes the connection sound but it won't register on iTunes.
Syncing my iphone 4s to itunes for the first time an instant update began after completing an error message during update occured and my phone froze with the itunes logo on the screen tried turning on and off to reboot but nothing happens still frozen.

My S6 is rooted. So I was going through a root app called lucky patcher and accidentally deleted the file com.google.processes.gapps. I couldn't fix it so I just assumed I would factory reset. Now the phones is stuck on the first updating page. I tried to factory reset again but still dose the same thing wen it reaches the page again.

I brought my wife an IPhone 4S yesterday and checked with the sales guy in 02 that I can run two accounts off the same laptop as I have an IPhone as well, which he said would be fine.
However the new IPhone required an updated version, which I downloaded and then the new IPhone locked up with the ITunes Logo and the USB Cable showing. I want to dwnld unsynced images B4 restoring the phone. Phone is frozen so can't download straight into iPhoto or ImageCapture.
I trawled the net and followed suggestions such as trying to back it up via Ctrl-click in Devices on iTunes but only says 'open in new window' and 'Eject iPhone' - no backup option. Have also looked for the 'Mobilesync' bkup folder in Library too but not there. either.
