My S6 is rooted. So I was going through a root app called lucky patcher and accidentally deleted the file com.google.processes.gapps. I couldn't fix it so I just assumed I would factory reset. Now the phones is stuck on the first updating page. I tried to factory reset again but still dose the same thing wen it reaches the page again.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Nokia Lumia 920 just under a month ago, a few times it's blacked out and i've done a reset (hold volume button and power button down) and it's worked, this time however when I done that reset the screen is not working, the side buttons are working but the touch screen is not working at all, I've tried reseting it multiple times, with holding both volume buttons with the power button and holding down one or the other the with power button and camera button, I've tried removing the sim but with no resolution and I don't know what else I can do. I know chances are I will have to take it to a store but I thought I would try on here first.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy sister (who is a Verizon customer) sent me her old Tour 9630. I am on AT&T. I've called AT&T and they have done everything they could do then told me to call Verizon for the phone to be unlocked. The long and short of it is, she got the unlock code from Verizon and now my card is being recognized however, the phone is still showing her phone number and when I try to place a call it reverts to Verizon and won't let me complete the call. Is there some way to reset all of the information so that it recognizes my phone number and AT&T instead of Verizon?

When the new buyer activates the phone with a new sim card, will my forward call setting be visible to him?Â

My N73 has been slow for some time, so I've been browsing these pages for a solution. This is what I've done so far: -
I changed my log history to one dayI moved all contacts and messages to my memory cardI reset the phone to factory defaults (my code was 11111 as default btw, not 12345 as suggested).
After powering up my newly restored handset I'm saddened to say that it's just as slow as before and is driving me nuts! Does anybody have any other ideas I could try?

Unfortunately all the pre-installed wallpapers and maybe something else useful, disappeared in the process of reverting to factory settings. Where can I find those disappeared wallpapers and any applications that may have been destroyed as well?

My friend is in pieces, she has tried to update to 5.1.1. She wanted to sync beforehand to itunes but it told her to update to 5.1.1 so she did and now the phone is frozen. It's telling her to restore her phone. If I tell her to do a hard reset (home+sleep button) will she lose her data that's on her phone right now?
View 14 Replies View RelatedToday, I signed up for Blackberry Email Service with T-Mobile. I got a message that an update was available, so I downloaded and installed it. However, when the Blackberry rebooted after the installation, (which seemed to take much longer than normal), the screen reads "Blackberry Platform 6.6.0.195" followed by a listing of all of the programs and apps on the Blackberry. There's also an error message that reads, "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.Null Pointer Exception". When I click "OK" there is another message reading, "Uncaught Exception:ApplicationRegistry.wait For(0xbfca09409ffe99e5) timeout. Then I get another reading, "Uncaught Exception:java.lang.Error" Every application on the list seems to have an error, and nothing will open. But I can't even shut the phone off. I have tried all of the four different reboot methods, but nothing seems to work.
I am wondering if I were to sync the Blackberry with the Blackberry Desktop Manager on my lpatop if it would reset the OS to the way it was before the update.
My Curve keeps freezing while updating at about 60%, with the black screen and BB logo and white bar. I've tried battery popping and letting the battery die, but it keeps getting to 60% and then freezing?

I just tried to update my phone to 7.2.1 and it frozen half way through.Â
I have tried to push the lock screen button and the Home button but nothing is happen.
In process of downloading new updates to Torch 9800 it stopped with instructions to:unplug device,go to Control Panel .... Device Manager/USB Root Hub/allow computer to turn off device ...plug in device...It then repats the same process again and again with same instructions. I've turned everything else off on computer, but now BB is frozen and still no upgrade complete.

I'm having an issue with my HTC One. I received notification of an update which I downloaded. The phone switched off and I then restarted it. The white start up screen showed, followed by a progress bar of a download, but now my phone is stuck on a black screen with two green arrows forming a circle with another one in the middle pointing down at a mobile phone. The default sound on my verizon s6 keeps resetting to skyline .
I also still cannot get the notification sound I set in the Twitter app to stay to what I set.
My phone was working perfectly fine this morning when I got up. I went to make a call, it wouldn't connect so I went to Restart it, it froze on the "Starting Apps" screen. I did the whole "Holding the volume & Power" It powers up like it should, but doesn't move past the Samsung S6 Edge Screen. The blue light is flickering on it also. I don't know what to do!!!

Now that I got my scanner fixed I want to use it again but it needs the backup password which I don't have. I tried scanning my finger and it didn't work. It will not let me scan again and is asking for the backup password for it to be able to open. I am not locked out of my phone rather I just need the backup password to change some settings. I would like to know if there is a way to reset the backup password without resetting my phone and keep in mind I am not locked out and still have full access just not the backup password? I have tried android device manager also the samsung one and cannot seem to find it. I do not want to reset my phone and am rooted.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI set it to finger print unlock and within 45 seconds of setting the lock I tried to reopen my phone and it didn't recognize my fingerprint. No big deal, that's why we have the secondary password right? Nope. It said incorrect password every. Single. Time. Which it can't POSSIBLY be incorrect because me being the small brained blonde that I am only use 3 possible passwords at any given time as it is!!!!
So I got onto the device manager and for the first few days was not able to lock it because it was already locked....so I left it for a few days. NOW I am currently on the device manager and the option to lock the phone WILL let me set a new lock on the phone....so I tried it. I go to punch in the password on the screen of my phone and it still says it is incorrect. I have now tried this at least 5 times using the most simple passwords and it still says it is incorrect.
How to reset your fingerprint once it's been set as security? I can turn it off and back on. But I can't find a way to re-run the setup...
