HTC One M7 :: Frozen Screen On Updating - Green Arrows Forming A Circle And One In The Middle
Nov 12, 2013
I'm having an issue with my HTC One. I received notification of an update which I downloaded. The phone switched off and I then restarted it. The white start up screen showed, followed by a progress bar of a download, but now my phone is stuck on a black screen with two green arrows forming a circle with another one in the middle pointing down at a mobile phone. The phone is NOT charging. I can't turn the phone off.
quick question.....I have the Wi-Fi Xoom and just got my update to 3.1.....noticed what appear to be up and down arrows in the middle of the wi-fi icon in the bottom right of the screen.....checked the settings and all appears to be well....is the wi-fi trying to tell me something....or will this be the norm??
This is my third atrix phone and I have notice a gray circle in the middle of the screen that is visible on light screens. For example googles front page I have taken it back for the reason.
My iPhone 4 was in the middle of an update and froze. I tried to turn it off but now it has a blank screen and is buzzing, cannot get it to shut off, or stop buzzing. I did not get it wet, and I have no idea what to do next.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 (Verizon). This red circle with the letter W in the middle appeared yesterday next to the envelope symbol for new msgs, etc. at the top of the main screen. It has a tiny arrow on the bottom right-hand edge, and a number 1 next to it. What is this? And where to I go to open it, read it, or see what's it's indicating?
whilst updating my iphone 3gs my laptop died and my phones been stuck on an apple sign with a loading bar underneath and ive tried restarting but nothing is working.
I just bought a new 5230. I had the usual " green circle" when opening an app. For example, Ovi maps. I have formatted my Memory card and updated my phone and now there is just an ugly red "ball" with grey background instead of the nice green loading animation. No big problem but it is just ugly.
Since a couple of days ma Nokia C7 always shows the small green circle next to Show open applications in the options on the home screen, even when there is no software running.
when an sms comes in the iphone 4s and remains unread, the red circle with the number of unread incoming sms's at the green balloon of the sms app does not appear. What can i do?
Since my Samsung s5 ha been updated at tge top of the screen there is symbol of two horizontal arrows pointing in opposite directions. What this is for/means and if the symbol can be removed?
I've already disabled the auto software update function.
I have several photos that I have sent via txt which have failed. I have gone back into the thread to try and delete the failed upload but they aren't there but the notifications have been on my screen for 3 months and I cant delete them!
My friend is in pieces, she has tried to update to 5.1.1. She wanted to sync beforehand to itunes but it told her to update to 5.1.1 so she did and now the phone is frozen. It's telling her to restore her phone. If I tell her to do a hard reset (home+sleep button) will she lose her data that's on her phone right now?
I have an icon that looks like a gray envelope with a red circle and a number inside the circle. I can't find out anywhere what this indiciates. It's not my email/sms indicator either. I've had the phone for 2 years now and have never seen this icon before. I've also not installed anything recently.
Today, I signed up for Blackberry Email Service with T-Mobile. I got a message that an update was available, so I downloaded and installed it. However, when the Blackberry rebooted after the installation, (which seemed to take much longer than normal), the screen reads "Blackberry Platform 6.6.0.195" followed by a listing of all of the programs and apps on the Blackberry. There's also an error message that reads, "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.Null Pointer Exception". When I click "OK" there is another message reading, "Uncaught Exception:ApplicationRegistry.wait For(0xbfca09409ffe99e5) timeout. Then I get another reading, "Uncaught Exception:java.lang.Error" Every application on the list seems to have an error, and nothing will open. But I can't even shut the phone off. I have tried all of the four different reboot methods, but nothing seems to work.
I am wondering if I were to sync the Blackberry with the Blackberry Desktop Manager on my lpatop if it would reset the OS to the way it was before the update.
My Curve keeps freezing while updating at about 60%, with the black screen and BB logo and white bar. I've tried battery popping and letting the battery die, but it keeps getting to 60% and then freezing?
I noticed this issue when I had reached the preset 200 msg limit on one contact it started a second conversation so when I would txt it would post in the original conversation and the reply would post on a second conversation. So, I went in and set the upper limit to 999. On a separtate contacts SMS msg's, when I hit 300, it split the conversations again so that even when I type a reply in the new conversation, the reply goes into the original sms and when they reply, it posts to a new SMS. Seriously, this gets confusing. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a workaround? I don't mind buying another SMS app if it will work until Moto has a bug fix out in an updat. I am using the stock app since i previously used Handsent and it deleted all my msgs on 2 different occasions on my previous Thunderbolt.
My S6 is rooted. So I was going through a root app called lucky patcher and accidentally deleted the file com.google.processes.gapps. I couldn't fix it so I just assumed I would factory reset. Now the phones is stuck on the first updating page. I tried to factory reset again but still dose the same thing wen it reaches the page again.
In process of downloading new updates to Torch 9800 it stopped with instructions to:unplug device,go to Control Panel .... Device Manager/USB Root Hub/allow computer to turn off device ...plug in device...It then repats the same process again and again with same instructions. I've turned everything else off on computer, but now BB is frozen and still no upgrade complete.
I was trying to update software for my iPhone 5 from 7.1.1 to 7.1.2 but it froze on the apple logo and loading bar. I haven't backed up anything on my iPhone so would I loose all my contacts, photos and other important data? I can not restore my iPhone 5 unless there is a way to back it up. I don't know what to do.
I answered yes to update my iPhone 5s, but now its Frozen on the image of iTunes and a cable connection. How can I stop this upgrade? I need my phone to work know...
i dont know how the problem occoured but it is happening from few days back.whenever and wherever i touch my phone it shows small white circle for a while and it goes within 1 sec. i tried resetting the setting but is doesnt work. do i have to do factory reset?? or is there any setting for this
This was a known bug around 2 years ago, when you end a call, and the screen is already off, so you need to get it back on again to end the call.
Extremely annoying, and it was fixed somehow at the time, but now it's happening again, regularly. (I think once you go past a minute or so, the screen goes off).
