Galaxy S6 :: Can't Get Rid Of Upload Arrows At Top Of Screen And Notification Panel
Dec 31, 2015
I have several photos that I have sent via txt which have failed. I have gone back into the thread to try and delete the failed upload but they aren't there but the notifications have been on my screen for 3 months and I cant delete them!
It's really annoying how my phone somehow can't view the notification panel where to turn off WiFi and Bluetooth on the lock screen. The Galaxy s4 and the Galaxy s6 and some other Galaxy s5 has it but why doesn't my phone have it? Because I have sprint? I can't scroll down from the top of the lock screen, nothing happens.
Here is a video: [URL] ....
How I can't scroll down on the lock screen to see notification panel?
What are those arrows on the top right-hand panel shows the top and left! What do they mean when they blink? Could I take them out of there, how? Can we get off the phone and somehow the net?
This is the first time I've used a Samsung phone in a while, and I've noticed that when I'm connected to WiFi I have a permanent notification saying, "WiFi Connected" in the notification panel. There's no way to dismiss it, and I can't seem to find a system setting to prevent the notification from appearing. Is this just how TouchWiz is, or am I missing a setting somewhere to turn it off?
A microphone symbol appears in my notification panel at random and on its own. could this mean I have spywear on my phone? and how do I access the icon ?
I just had a quick question about the S5 when you put earphones in the earphone jack. The notification bar pops up with "earphones connected" and then when you swipe down, you see a section of quick apps you can select to use your headphones with. I primarily use my headphones with Google Play Music, which is not one of the option, and I have it automatically bring up the app with Automaker as it is. I was curious if there was a way to disable that bar of app options that comes up on the notification panel. I didn't have it on my Galaxy S3, and I would actually prefer if it wasn't there.
On my Galaxy S6 everytime I get a new email there is an email icon just below the notification panel. is there any way to turn this off? I already recieve a sound, and a pop up of the email, and there is an indicator of new email on my email icon on the home screen, so I don't need yet another notification.
Same situation with text messages. I would just like to disable the notifications that appear below the notification panel.
What I did but when I swipe the status bar down nothing happens and if I hit the button on the left bottom side near the home button to close open tasks, it doesn't work either. I restarted the phone and shut it off for a few minutes, neither worked. What did I do and how do I fix it?
Since my Samsung s5 ha been updated at tge top of the screen there is symbol of two horizontal arrows pointing in opposite directions. What this is for/means and if the symbol can be removed?
I've already disabled the auto software update function.
I just updated my galaxy s6 via OTA software update this early afternoon. I just realised that my mobile data icon/button in the notification panel suddenly disappeared after updating to the new software update.
Below are attached images of the screenshot of my firmware and notification panel.
I upgraded from Galaxy S3 to S6 (SM-G920F). I'm running it with the WanamLite Rom, which by the way I find very cool.On my S3 I was able to access a specific home screen panel directly by tapping the corresponding dot in the home screen. On the S6 it seems this is not possible anymore and you are forced to swipe. Is there any way (setting/mod/customization) to have the home screen panel dots to behave as they used to?
My Verizon Lg G3 (VS98523C) just recently received the 5.0.1 update and I'm noticing that when I swipe down the notications panel, it's the same as before (I'd heard I would have to swipe down twice or with two fingers).
Also, my lockscreen is the same as before. Yes, I get the new style notifications but I'm also able to put widgets on it (I read that was gone). And, when there is a notification on my lockscreen, and I tap it to get to that info, I'm then asked to swipe the whole screen again.
My Notification is acting really wierd after i updated my phone today recently.
I am using this phone from past 1 year and i am so happy with my device that it works so perfectly which i can brag about and i love all the updates from sony and i do update on the very first day.
But today this so shocking first time after today's system update my Notification panel is behaving worst it just scrolls down no matter what i am doing. Even while typing this it just come scrolling down, but while doing other things it is very upsetting.
There is a key icon beside the battery icon in the pull down notification tray and I don't know what that is and if it's something that I should just ignore or what. Some say it's VPN but some say it isn't.
I have the problem with the notification panel on my Htc One M8. When I scroll the notification panel to connect a mobile data, wifi, brightness or any other option I need to double tap the icon to turn it on. The same to turn it off. I try to turn off the phone but the problem still persist.
There is a strang icon on the notification panel that looks like a "ear with a trademark (T) symbol on the lower right side. I cannot find it in the user manual list of icons.
I would like to have weather information displayed in my notification panel, but I cannot find the setting/switch to turn it on. On my friends' iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 devices, it displays as normal just below the date, and when one friend activated her newly purchased iPhone 5s, she was asked if she would like the information to be displayed..
When my phone is in 4G or on WiFi the upload and download arrows are constantly lit up making it seem like the phone is moving data non stop. This is killing my battery life.
quick question.....I have the Wi-Fi Xoom and just got my update to 3.1.....noticed what appear to be up and down arrows in the middle of the wi-fi icon in the bottom right of the screen.....checked the settings and all appears to be well....is the wi-fi trying to tell me something....or will this be the norm??
I had this problem previously and was waiting for Lollipop thinking it will get solved, but it looks like I might have a faulty proximity sensor. When I'm in a call, sometimes I hear the sound of pressing a button, and when I take the phone away from my ear to check what happened, I keep finding the Notification Panel open with different options activated / deactivated. Sometimes I find it directly in Settings, in Battery Usage, in Date/Time, I think it depends on which option is pressed in the Notification Panel.
I'm having an issue with my HTC One. I received notification of an update which I downloaded. The phone switched off and I then restarted it. The white start up screen showed, followed by a progress bar of a download, but now my phone is stuck on a black screen with two green arrows forming a circle with another one in the middle pointing down at a mobile phone. The phone is NOT charging. I can't turn the phone off.
I'm not sure if there is a defect in my update... but upon completion of update, I noticed that when I drag down the notification panel, immediately below the status bar before the notifications, the words "(No service)" is displayed. I do not remember 1.6 having that... but is it suppose to show my network name? I hope someone could enlighten me. It is irritating having those words there not knowing what it means.
OK, so I just go the Galaxy S5 and while setting it up I have tried to adjust the brightness of the notifications panel (it's so bright I can only see the color of the battery power icon). I have gone into settings and have not been able to adjust it. When I go into the Setting panel I select the Notifications panel button and all it has is a check mark for Brightness adjustment, that's it nothing else. How can I adjust this?
I brought BB torch last month all is working fine but the touch panel below the screen is always lit despite the screen is off..is it normal? or is there anything to turn it off?
Am I able to get text pop up notifications on my edge screen? It's seems that I have all the serring set up for it but it's not working. I am using Samsung default text app and have edge settings to show texts... maybe text pop up notifications are not possible.
