What are those arrows on the top right-hand panel shows the top and left! What do they mean when they blink? Could I take them out of there, how? Can we get off the phone and somehow the net?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy wifi symbol in he status bar constantly has flashing arrows, one on the right hand side and one on the left hand side. I would expect this if the phone was constantly downloading email or social network feeds but when I try to load those I get the message "Could not open connection to server" when attempting to access e-mails as well as this message when attempting to load news feed on Facebook "Error loading news feed" ....
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Notification is acting really wierd after i updated my phone today recently.
I am using this phone from past 1 year and i am so happy with my device that it works so perfectly which i can brag about and i love all the updates from sony and i do update on the very first day.
But today this so shocking first time after today's system update my Notification panel is behaving worst it just scrolls down no matter what i am doing. Even while typing this it just come scrolling down,but while doing other things it is very upsetting.
I even immediately restarted by nothing new.
I am trying the pressure test with pressure sensor to test it's waterproofing or not.The value doesn't goes up when I press the panel and the value dropped by one when I release.Then when I hold the three holes at the bottom and press again, the value goes up by 5-6.It is normal the value doesn't raise if I didn't close the three holes?

It is important to notice that I didn't removed such icons, because IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. When you remove/insert icons on this panel, they auto arrange in this screen. So it is not possible to leave the screen with these "holes".
This happens when I switch users in the phone. The guest user does not have the same icons than the proprietary, so when I switch back, my icons are not restored. To workaround I have to edit this menu and move any icon, or restart the phone.
My XP only be used for one month , the metal coat on game panel losted a small piece.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI had this problem previously and was waiting for Lollipop thinking it will get solved, but it looks like I might have a faulty proximity sensor. When I'm in a call, sometimes I hear the sound of pressing a button, and when I take the phone away from my ear to check what happened, I keep finding the Notification Panel open with different options activated / deactivated. Sometimes I find it directly in Settings, in Battery Usage, in Date/Time, I think it depends on which option is pressed in the Notification Panel.

I've already disabled the auto software update function.
I'm not sure if there is a defect in my update... but upon completion of update, I noticed that when I drag down the notification panel, immediately below the status bar before the notifications, the words "(No service)" is displayed. I do not remember 1.6 having that... but is it suppose to show my network name? I hope someone could enlighten me. It is irritating having those words there not knowing what it means.

Anyways I was just wondering what it could mean cuz the arrow stays there for hours and nothing comes in like an sms, mms, phone call, etc. I've done battery pulls to get rid of the arrow.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo, I had an issue with my Photo App. One of the videos I took would not upload to OneDrive. Come to find out the video was corrupted - when I tried to play it on my 950, it was stutter and jump around. Took out the SD card and tried it on my computer. Same issue. One of the symptoms of this corrupted video is that the circular refresh arrows on the bottom of the Photo App kept spinning. Opening the OneDrive App and checking the camera uploads would show that the video failed uploading. After deleting that video and clearing the error in OneDrive, it appears that the uploads continued without issue. However, when I launch the Photo App now, I still get the spinning refresh arrows at the bottom of the app. But, opening the OneDrive app no longer shows any pending uploads.
View 7 Replies View Related9700 (got it in november, right after launch) i am running .442 OS (crappy, need to update it) and my PC is on windows 7 ultimate 32 bit. for a while now, when i connect my BB via USB, the PC recognizes it, and i can modify the files on my SD card as much as i want, for as long as i want.BUT if i try to do anythign with DM (backup, load new OS, etc.) it will communicate for a few seconds (generally less than 30) and then stop. the DM still says it is trying to communicate, and my BB shows that it is connected to the DM, but with no send/receive arrows. after a WHILE, it times out.charges fine via USB, SD card works fine via USB. as far as i can see, all of the pins are there.i have tried a few different computers with the same result. this an OS bug? what should i do? i can probly get it to communicate enough for a bare-bones backup of contacts/etc., and then wipe/reload, but im afraid that if i try that, it may hang up yet again and leave me w/o a phone!any ideas? i REALLY need to get rid of this crap OS w/ crap battery life, that keeps giving me 523 errors.

The white start up screen showed, followed by a progress bar of a download, but now my phone is stuck on a black screen with two green arrows forming a circle with another one in the middle pointing down at a mobile phone. Recently switched from bold 9650 to bold 9930. Home screen used to show just my top 5 items (example) email, contacts, bb mess, internet, personal email. For some reason it now has two rows of items. Still allows me to maximize panel but will not go back to single row. I have tried to adjust adjust panel and am stuck.

If I try to go into the settings menu again the screen is blank, the options and exit buttons are at the buttom but the list of options is empty.I tried a hard reset and the same thing happens . View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Verizon Lg G3 (VS98523C) just recently received the 5.0.1 update and I'm noticing that when I swipe down the notications panel, it's the same as before (I'd heard I would have to swipe down twice or with two fingers).
Also, my lockscreen is the same as before. Yes, I get the new style notifications but I'm also able to put widgets on it (I read that was gone). And, when there is a notification on my lockscreen, and I tap it to get to that info, I'm then asked to swipe the whole screen again.
Did I not get the full update?
I have the problem with the notification panel on my Htc One M8. When I scroll the notification panel to connect a mobile data, wifi, brightness or any other option I need to double tap the icon to turn it on. The same to turn it off. I try to turn off the phone but the problem still persist.
