whilst updating my iphone 3gs my laptop died and my phones been stuck on an apple sign with a loading bar underneath and ive tried restarting but nothing is working.

I was trying to update software for my iPhone 5 from 7.1.1 to 7.1.2 but it froze on the apple logo and loading bar. I haven't backed up anything on my iPhone so would I loose all my contacts, photos and other important data? I can not restore my iPhone 5 unless there is a way to back it up. I don't know what to do.

It is frozen on apple screen and it keeps trying to restart self (which is not working). I have tried to reset with the home and on/off button (at the same time) and I have tried to plug into computer, but itunes doesn't detect device at all. Some times there is very small writing at top of screen that is so small I can't read. It seems as if the phone is in a restart loop.

I have a white iPhone 4S that is permanently stuck on the Apple icon screen. I have:
- Plugged it into the computer. It is not recognized.
- Held the home button + the top button down in order to reset. Does not respond.
- Let the iPhone drain from battery usage. After recharging it eventually goes back to the Apple Logo screen and freezes again.
It seems to have just happened recently after upgrading my iPhone to the newest patch. Not sure which patch number it was, but I just updated everything as of last week.

I just got my 32g iPhone 4 about 2 weeks ago. After jailbraking the phone, I noticed a couple of things.1st: when the iPhone reboots I noticed a little thin LCD light showing through. 2nd: I noticed after jailbraking, I could not sign on to Facebook using app sign on. 3rd: when restoring to factory setting prior to visiting genius bar, my phone got stuck and froze up on apple logo indefinitely.Lucky for me, the tec at apple was cool and exchange it for a brand new one. Warranty is void on any jailbroken iPhones. After all that trouble, I dont think I'll jailbrake this one it's not worth it.

While using it tonight it froze with the screen on. Holding down the power button failed to restart the phone. Using a pointed object on the SIM slot power button also failed: no vibrations, no change to the phone. The Sony Bridge for Mac program did not detect a device was connected.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo, yesterday i decided to clean my Sony Z3 because it was dirty, i cleaned it with the hose (water), i made sure i used a towel to remove the water i blowed the water left, and i placed it back on the table, after 2 hours i decided to take the phone and see what's new and when i pressed the button to see if it opens it did but the unfortune part is that the touch screen is not responding like if i try to go to home menu i can't because it's not working to slide or anything, it's just froze but the power button and volume keys are working, this thing pisses me off so bad, i placed the phone in a bowl of rice it's been 7 hours sinceit's there and nothing the phone is closed and still nothing happend after 7 hours, and there is condensation on the camera lens btw.

I turned my phone off then on. In the process of it starting up it kept on turning on and off by itself. I had no chance to do anything before it wouldn't turn off again. The battery said it was full but everytime it turned back on I could see it was loosing life. I went to plug it in to charge but that wouldn't help as it wouldn't charge while it was turning on and off all the time. I tried to take the battery out. I have taken the memory card out. However, when the Blackberry rebooted after the installation, (which seemed to take much longer than normal), the screen reads "Blackberry Platform 6.6.0.195" followed by a listing of all of the programs and apps on the Blackberry. There's also an error message that reads, "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.Null Pointer Exception". When I click "OK" there is another message reading, "Uncaught Exception:ApplicationRegistry.wait For(0xbfca09409ffe99e5) timeout. Then I get another reading, "Uncaught Exception:java.lang.Error" Every application on the list seems to have an error, and nothing will open. But I can't even shut the phone off. I have tried all of the four different reboot methods, but nothing seems to work.
I am wondering if I were to sync the Blackberry with the Blackberry Desktop Manager on my lpatop if it would reset the OS to the way it was before the update.
My Curve keeps freezing while updating at about 60%, with the black screen and BB logo and white bar. I've tried battery popping and letting the battery die, but it keeps getting to 60% and then freezing?

I had a fully functional Blackrained 3GS with the old bootrom (before the 40th week). What happened was After i installed some cydia Winterboard tweak, the phone got a little sluggish, so i restarted it, now its stuck at the apple logo screen !! I tried to DFU/Restore to 3.1.2 using official 3.1.2 firmware but apparently Apple doesnt sign 3.1.2 anymore, it gave that build error message u all must be familiar with ! I also tried to create a custom firmware through Pwnagetool on my mac and tried to restore through itunes (9.1.1), it gives error 1600. I am at a loss in this situation please help me !! Currently Im downloading an old version of itunes on my windows to try do the custom restore.
