I didn't see that you can't use BB Protect when using Enterprise Server. I need to uninstall this program as it seems to be blocking my BB from getting emails from the Enterprise Server.
I don't have the option to delete the app when I click on the BB button. I also don't see it listed in Options > Advanced > Service Book to delete it there.
I have a Torch 9860, and just completed another backup using BlackBerry Protect.This is not my first backup, FYI.And the strange this is every time I login to protect.blackberry.com, my device is not shown.

I have tried going into the program but it does not allow me to remove the tick where it says "delete blackberry protect." View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new BB Torch 9810 and I'm trying to restore from BB Protect but not all contacts restore - and it seems random which ones don't. I tried a resolution posted about unticking not restoring contacts which are e-mail synchronized but the only option under "Synchronisation Options" on my Torch is "Deleted items". When I look at the back-up data on Protect for the old device (Torch 9800) each synch has 2 Address Book entries with different numbers of items. Could it somehow be restoring only one of these two files?

It showed me that your current version is 5.0.0.497 and new version 5.0.0.1077 is available for download. When I clicked the new update it says "Submitting Update Request" which remains as is and nothing happen after that till today. Rather after couple of minutes a message arrives that Waiting for Connecivity to submit request. Do you want to keep waiting? When I press yes, it happens again and again. View 1 Replies View RelatedI JUST bought a new verizon model phone, and I charged it into the wall charger for 4 hours to make sure it was charged. When it is plugged in, a battery with a lightning bolt appears on the screen, so I assume it is charging. But, when I unplugged it, and turn on the device, I see the hourglass/clock on the screen, and then it goes to a page saying "Blackberry" and it begins loading, however, the phone turns off and dies. After that, I can't turn it back on. I tried putting it back into the charger for 5 mins, then repeat turning it on, and the same thing happens.
I then connect the USB to the computer, and I have the Blackberry Desktop software. The "summary" part can tell it's a blackberry storm 9550, but then, all the other sections say the device isn't connect. I can hear the phone disconnecting and reconnecting to the laptop also. Then a pop up appears stating the device isn't connected/troubleshooting and to try re-trying to find the phone.
