When ever I leave my house and go out of Wi/Fi range my phone does not access the internet. Even when I have full bars it doesnt work. Its not a sprint thing either because my parents phones and my frinds phones that are Sprint work just fine.

I'm able to add the app and use it but I cannot directly add it like I did my google account. I've factory reset, successfully added other people's facebook, changed my password, changed my email in facebook so as to login under a different email.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been using the HTC EVO for about a year now...I picked this phone up yesterday and I really enjoy the Photon. I have installed SPB shell for my interface because I just don't like the form and function of the UI that comes with it. Everything seems to be just great with the phone. The battery life is much better than the EVO. I have had moderate to heavy use of it today since 6:00am and after 9 hours of use I'm down to 30% of my battery life. I also have my corporate email set to push, with gtalk usage (without the video, i noticed that that issue was addressed), texting, voice calls and some internet usage.

This is true in every app tried so far (Compass, Google maps, Google sky map). The x,y,z values for magnetic field vary in the AndroSensor app as I move the phone around leaving open the possibility that it is a software rather than a device issue. If it is software, I'd think it would be a common problem. I've tried with both my internal storage and my sd card. If MP3 format doesn't work, then what format does the music need to be for me to be able to play it on my phone?
View 6 Replies View RelatedSince I bought my Photon earlier this week, I immediately noticed that the indicator light didn't, well, indicate. Anything, ever, at all. It didn't even light up when charging. I know this is not a burned-out LED because I've installed an app which fixes most of the problems, the app is called Light Flow. Its only limitations on the Photon are that it can't light the indicator for battery charge events/status, and it may not be able to show all the colors, but I do have it working for missed call/text, email, bluetooth on, etc. The issue is, I shouldn't need an app to do this and I want the indicator LED to show battery charge status.

While apps that use Internet work OK, I cannot connect to websites by using the stock browser and the newly installed Dolphin browser. I cleared the cache for the Browser and this did not help.
View 5 Replies View RelatedLast night when I turned on my wifi at home, the wifi and phone signal bars appeared but were gray and I had no internet/data connection. I checked the wifi settings which indicated I was connected with good to excellent signal. Toggled the Wifi on and off several times, and turned phone on and off, which did not work. Went into wifi settings and told it to forget settings and reconnected, same result. When I turn off wifi, 3G appears and data connection is restored. Left the phone on in the media dock all night, and this morning when I turned on wifi, all was fine. What does gray signal bar mean?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy touchscreen frequently doesn't register my input in either swype or normal modes. This seems to happen primarily when searching contacts. Swype may show the word suggestion but it never appears in the search window. The only solution seems to be shutting down and removing the battery. Just restarting doesn't work. Neither does switching input methods.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone is always changing the signal quality on it. The top of the information area will turn from green to grey to nothing over and over again. If i place or receive a call within a few minutes it drops with no record of the call. The internet is the same i will have 4g service and then it will crawl. I have to keep the phone still to maintain the signal. if i even move my hand the signal is gone.I know it is not sprint cause my wife has a diffent phone and it works perfectly she is chatting away on it all day never had a signal issue. went the spint salesman and he didnt understand why it was doing that. It dropped a call right in the store.I am on the sprint network, I have updated my profile and all the updates are complete. All the salesman suggested is that I do a factory reset and lose everything on the phone. I dont want to lose some games i paid for. If i have to do the reset is there a way to backup my games and how would i reteive them?

Facebook messages do not load through Atrix's Motoblur's messaging widget. The updates seem to be fine, though the contact's pictures do not come up. I deleted group messages from my Facebook homepage (not all of them, just the visible ones on the front page) and I also checked my IMEI, but still nothing.

Now one would think that when I tap on the link to their facebook page that's where I would go. However, I am always taken to my own profile, rather than the profile of the person I am clicking on.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI had random issues with the fb app when on GB also, but now it wont start at all, or, it starts, then goes black and never recovers. finally about 10 - 15 minutes later I get a pop up message that the app has stopped responding and do I want to report it. Of course I report it every time.
I tried uninstalling the app completely but could not do it. I could only uninstall the upgrades made to it previously, so I tried that and then reinstalled the upgrades, but to no avail.
I did not realize that fb is a permanent app. I thought I could uninstall it completely, but I cannot. Has anyone else run into this with fb?
yes I did have other issues with ics and I have cache cleared and started uninstalling app's where possible. I have NOT tried a factory reset yet, but that may very well be next.

Mine seems to hang at night (seemingly about 20min after I plug it in for charging) and stays on yesterdays date and time until somehow it corrects itself the next day. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a major issue with my corporate exchange calendar. If I accept an invitation to a meeting, the phone makes me the organizer of the meeting. This syncs back to my corporate calendar. This is obviously completely wrong. If I delete the meeting on my phone, or on my computer, it sends out a message to everyone that was on the meeting saying that it was cancelled. If I need to adjust the meeting only on my calendar, it sends out an update to everyone. It has caused a lot of confusion for me and my work colleagues.

My girlfriend has called me for the past three days and she says my phone rings and rings and goes to voicemail. I have Sprint Service. I am not using TeleNav or any other navagation, I am just using the GPS mode and Bluetooth is also running. I dont have any other issues with not receiving incoming calls unless its in the dock.

I did a full factory reset about a month ago. the last couple of days the phone has been freezing with the alarm. the alarm will go off and I might get one or two snoozes out of it then the display freezes and is unresponsive. O can push the power button to get the power off menu but the screen will not respond to allow a power off, I must remove the battery to reset the phone.and as anyone who has a Photon knows how much fun putting the back on is. Any ideas.again this is a pretty fresh reboot and I do not have near as many apps running as before the reboot
