View 9 RepliesI have the multimedia base (desktop cradle) for my Droid X. Every time I click on the 'home' button it goes to the home screen for the MultiMedia Base, and not the regular Droid home menu. This is a pain, because every time I want to use an app, I first have to press the 'X' on the MultiMedia home screen to get to the regular Droid menu.The worst thing about the Multimedia menu, is that on many phone calls I recieve while the phone is in the Multimedia base, when I 'X' out of the menu, it goes to the Droid menu and not to the Answer Phone window...by the time i get to the menu to answer the phone the caller is gone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Droid Turbo last night and I love it. Coming from an S3 its amazing! I only have one thing I cannot figure out. How do you add another tile to that drop down menu? I want to add volume control as its the only thing missing that I use all the time. It's driving me nuts because at the moment the only way to silence my phone is to hold down the volume key. I went through all the settings and didnt see the "notification drawer" option anywhere.

I called Verizon to ask if I could hide it or delete it since it makes the readable screen smaller, and the rep said no...it can't be hidden or deleted.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI just recieved a warranty replacement DX2 yesterday.So far, it is a neat phone and I am quite pleased.However, I am unable to fiind the selection to calibrate the compass. In my old Droid X it was in Menu>Settings>Location & Security>Calibrate Compass.Now, Calibrate Compass is no longer there.Perhaps the DX2 compass doesn't require calibration.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLove my RAZR Maxx however something I've noticed (I've had Moto Droid/Droid2 and HTC Incredible) is that when scrolling (like email or web pages) my finger must barely touch the home button (or the back/menu/search buttons) and my scrolling gets interrupted by the button function. It seems much more sensitive than any of my other phones.Anyone else have this issue or am I the only klutz? Maybe there is a setting to change sensitivity but can't find it.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy SD card recently fail so I lost all my photos and music. I only had a couple of pictures but there was 1 that I really wanted to keep. I just installed my new SD card.
What I am hoping to find out is that the picture I wanted the most is still showing on the Photo Gallery start page/ Desk Top, or what ever it is called on a phone. Where is this image coming from and can I save it back to my gallery?
after a year (or more) without a lot of my thumbnails, I finally figured out how to restore them.I'm not sure when, or how they got corrupted, but for the longest time, I haven't had all my thumbnails working on my phone. They would regenerate (slowly) at runtime, which made browsing painful at best.Searching online gave me mixed results of things that didn't work.Finally, this seemed to work for me:At your home screen, press the options menu button then press "Manage Apps" Then select "All" Scroll down to "Media Storage" and select it Click "Clear Data" I then went into "Gallery" app, which showed NO photos, and NO albums! OUCH! Don't worry, we're not done.I then took one photo with my camera (I'm not sure if this step is needed).Exit the camera and enter the Gallery again. You will see your new photo.Wait a while, your gallery will be rebuilt and all thumbnails are regenerated... it took a few minutes for me.NOTE This procedure will delete any saved albums that you have created. It won't delete the pictures (They will all be there in the "All Photos" and "All Videos" albums, but you will have to recreate any separate albums that you had previously.I can now browse my photos and videos again without having to wait for my thumbnails to be regenerated at run time!After they were all regenerated, I rebooted my phone to be sure they were still there, they were!Now if I could just make up my mind between upgrading to the Razr Maxxx HD, or the S G S3! Tough choice for me, I keep waffling back and forth! ;)

View 4 Replies View RelatedI had the Razr Maxx HD for a couple of months without any problems. After updating to JB, I now have a consistent problem with the phone freezing and then rebooting whenever I move out of one of my Wi-Fi APN connections. For example, while at home and connected to my home Wi-Fi, the phone is fine. As soon as I walk outside and leave my Wi-Fi coverage area, the phone will freeze. A few minutes later it will reboot on its own. Same thing at work. When I enter one of my "remembered" Wi-Fi APN coverage areas, the phone will connect OK and work OK through Wi-Fi, but as soon as I leave the area, it freezes. If I disable W-Fi, no more problems.
An exception to this is that recently I stayed several days at a hotel and connected to the hotel's Wi-Fi, and had no problems whatsoever when I left the hotel on numerous occassions.
I'm not sure if it is a phone problem or network problem but over the last 3 or 4 months I'm not getting texts from people. At first it was rare but now it has been happening more often. People keep thinking I'm ignoring them but I'm simply not getting them.

I had to get a new number today, and surprise it wiped my phone clean. In the past I've had the market redownload all of my apps, however the last few times it has not. View 11 Replies View RelatedStarting late this afternoon, I lost all data connections except wifi. Verizon support told me an outage is nationwide for phones with LTE. As I am typing this, LTE is back for now after a 6+ hour outage. Hopefully Verizon fixed the lte/cdma problems that have been a problem for a couple of weeks.
