Shortly after installing BB Protect on my Tour, I noticed that my BB App World menu icon had disappeared. Don't know if the 2 events are related. Did a wipe and re-install to no avail. Sprint Tech Support unable to help. restoring my lost BB App World menu icon?

General Options
Voice Mail
Call Loggin
Smart Dialing
Speed Dial Numbers
TTY
Enhanced Audio
Sounds
Any clue how to get the Call Forwarding menu back?
I updated my app world because it needed updating and now, it's gone. I've looked everywhere, I've battery flipped it and I still can't find it :-( It's installed though because it is in my applications!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to BB App World to 1.0.35 my BB 9630 Tour from US Cellular running v5.0.0484. I have looked in the downloads folder, the apps folder, and every other folder I have on my phone just for GP for that matter but can not find the BB App World Icon. Under the Apps it says that it is installed. I have removed and reinstalled several times and done a battery pull VS a restart more than 10 times. The only thing I have not done is format the phone.

I know the application is on my phone, when I go to "options" and then "Applications" I see it listed. Just can't find the icon to open it. Usually I can find stuff in the Download folder. Thankfully I was able to find most of the apps I downloaded in the download folder, but one of them reset and I don't have the activation code or the record that I bought that particular app since my world has no record of it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my BB Tour 9630 for about one month. It was working fine until this morning I saw the camera app open and a pic was taken without me even touching my phone! After that, I tried scrolling around and found that the first screen is ok, I can scroll all ways and click on items but once I click on them and another screen comes up, I can't open anything. Same thing happens when I click on "menu" it opens but I can't even scroll to other icons, nevermind click on anything. I've already tried removing the battery and chip for over 10 minutes so I don't know what else to do!

My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! Besides, the contacts icon was missing when I last backed up, so it probably wouldn't come back anyway!

In just a twinKle of an eye I Lost all the preinstalled games and apps, all the gallery files and web browser including six menu items of the phone they are calculator; life tools, chat, communities and mail. I tried to download a game from Nokia store, it says certificate not on phone. Tried to update software it says no provider found. Requested for service settings from my service provider it says my device is not recognized

I just switched from Verizon over to Sprint to save some money and had my old number ported over. Everything is working fine, but the number still shows up as the temporary one sent to me in the phone menu.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Tour used. I havent activated it yet but through my laptop I installed all my info (contacts etc..) through the desktop manager. The service provider is Sprint. I have noticed that there are some apps/icons missing from the menu. Most importantly there is no web/internet icon/app and no BlackBerry app world icon/app. There are also others missing, Pandora, Sprint Nav, Sprint TV and a few others. These I am pretty sure I can download for free, but what about the web and app world? Why are they missing? Is it because the phone is not activated yet?

But today, when I go to the options menu (at BBM), I can't find the Back Up Management Menu. how can I back up my BBM contact remotely?
My husband got his Tour yesterday and it was technically used for a day but is esentially considered new. He was playing with his phone last night and he notices when he goes to a certain menu the trackball messes up but if he exits out it's fine it's just the one menu. I told him to take it back to the store and let them know but the blackberry guy wasn't in so we have to wait. We have a 30 day in-store warranty but they said trackball issues they'll just repair and send it back to him themselves.
