Sep 20, 2011I can't access my app world account. Unable to update the software. Have tried and nothing happens. Been this way for days and can't get any help from my carrier.

BB Bold :: Unable To Access Protect And 'world' In App World?
Aug 20, 2011My BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. I'm unable to access Blackberry protect and 'my world' in Blackberry App World, or do anything that involves using my BB ID on my phone

Jan 17, 2010I have been receiving the following notice on my tour: "you are attempting to open a secure connection, but the server's certificate is not trusted." The weird thing is it happens when the phone is sitting ideal and not in use
When I view the certificate it looks like the phone is trying to contact google.com.

Feb 8, 2010I'm having trouble with App World. I have two apps that show "Ready To Install" but they don't install. I have hone app that shows "Installing..." but it's been that way for three days and nothing seems to be happening.
I've tried removing and reinstalling App World itself but that didn't change anything.

Dec 20, 2011I have BB 9630 tour.After I have installed the recent update of app world , it shows that a blackberry indentity server need to installed. When clik ok to install it , it shows a error 80003 and message upadte of bb indentity server failed. I can't access the app world since then.

Aug 11, 2011When I go to the Login Screen @ My World in Apps I cant enter my Blackberry ID, I noticed the small padalock on the top right of the screen is now locked, its been like this for 4 days now.

May 15, 2011I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and am with Virgin Media and everything was working perfectly until yesterday when I was asked to download the latest version of the Blackberry App World. This I did and then rebooted my phone as directed. I then went to the Blackberry App World icon, on my phone, to download an App, but the icon had disappeared. I looked in the Downloads file and everywhere else on the phone but it was nowhere.I checked the Applications file in Advanced Options and Blackberry App World version 2.1215 was there.I checked the Service Book and Blackberry App World was there and active. I tried redownloading but got the message that the App World was already installed. I reinstalled but still no difference. I went to the App World via the Blackberry Browser, on my phone, and tried to download an App but got the message 'item you selected cannot be displayed do you wish to save' I selected no and got the message 'unsupported med type: application x-bb-appworld'. I have now tried various combinations of downloading, deleting in Applications, rebooting but nothing works. I have access to all my Apps and all are working.

Jan 11, 2010I upgraded to BB App World to 1.0.35 my BB 9630 Tour from US Cellular running v5.0.0484. I have looked in the downloads folder, the apps folder, and every other folder I have on my phone just for GP for that matter but can not find the BB App World Icon. Under the Apps it says that it is installed. I have removed and reinstalled several times and done a battery pull VS a restart more than 10 times. The only thing I have not done is format the phone.

Apr 21, 2011I am trying to access App World with my playbook. I do not have wifii but have successfully connected to the internet using the blackberry bridge and tethering feature.
My smart phone - the bold 9000 - is tethered to the playbook; I can access app world from my phone; My phone is on a 3G network.
The message I get is that I am not connected via Wifii and cannot access app world. But, if I can access the internet, why can't I access app world?

Mar 23, 2011When I log in on a different phone, it asks if I would like that device to be the new device to download apps on. Would it be baad to do click "yes" and if I did click "yes" would I be able to switch to a different account but keep whatever i downloaded onto my device?
Sounds a bit confusing.But here's the thing, I want to purschase the app BeBuzz and so does my sister. We don't want to purchase the same app twice. I know its only $6 but I'd still like to save as much money as I can. Anyways, if I purchase it on my device and then sign in as myself on HER device and "reinstall" it onto her device, would it delete after I switch accounts?I hope somebody understands what I am asking. I tried already restarting my device and enabled content protection still this one occurs. I also already checked my USB and it is not broken because every time I connect my phone via usb on my laptop I can use my blackberry desktop.
