Sep 2, 2011I have been so into my playbook that I have someway lost my access to app world on my phone.It is a blackberry bold 9700 <Personal Content Removed>.

BB Bold :: Unable To Access Protect And 'world' In App World?
Aug 20, 2011My BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. I'm unable to access Blackberry protect and 'my world' in Blackberry App World, or do anything that involves using my BB ID on my phone

Aug 11, 2011When I go to the Login Screen @ My World in Apps I cant enter my Blackberry ID, I noticed the small padalock on the top right of the screen is now locked, its been like this for 4 days now.
I changed both my email and password, but neither my new details or old detais work, everything was done by cut and past so I have made no errors,Im totrally locked out opf this area in Blackberry.

Jun 11, 2010I just lost my BB App World icon after doing the recommended update to version 1.1.0.35. I downloaded it twice but the icon is nowhere to be found. I know the application is on my phone, when I go to "options" and then "Applications" I see it listed. Just can't find the icon to open it. Usually I can find stuff in the Download folder. Jun 5, 2012I randomly lose internet access with but still have full use of certain app's like bbm and whatsapp & full signal (3G). For example if I restart my phone before I go to sleep, wake up the next morning, about an hour or so in to my day I will open the facebook or twitter app and my feed's wont refresh although I have perfectly fine network and my whatsapp & bbm work fine, the same problem is with the browser, I try search something and have no luck either.

May 15, 2011I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and am with Virgin Media and everything was working perfectly until yesterday when I was asked to download the latest version of the Blackberry App World. This I did and then rebooted my phone as directed. I then went to the Blackberry App World icon, on my phone, to download an App, but the icon had disappeared. I looked in the Downloads file and everywhere else on the phone but it was nowhere.I checked the Applications file in Advanced Options and Blackberry App World version 2.1215 was there.I checked the Service Book and Blackberry App World was there and active. I tried redownloading but got the message that the App World was already installed. I reinstalled but still no difference. I went to the App World via the Blackberry Browser, on my phone, and tried to download an App but got the message 'item you selected cannot be displayed do you wish to save' I selected no and got the message 'unsupported med type: application x-bb-appworld'. I have now tried various combinations of downloading, deleting in Applications, rebooting but nothing works. I have access to all my Apps and all are working.

Feb 9, 2011just noticed something. Whenever i'm on wifi and i go into app world, it says "there is an issue with app world. app world will now close."
But when i off the wifi and back on data, its running ok. I then pause my download, head back to home screen, on the wifi and continue download.

My smart phone - the bold 9000 - is tethered to the playbook; I can access app world from my phone; My phone is on a 3G network.
The message I get is that I am not connected via Wifii and cannot access app world. But, if I can access the internet, why can't I access app world?
