I have a Bold 9700 and on its last update of Blackberry App World and re-boot I now have this error that says, Uncaught exeception:java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError. I now cannot access the App world for updates or apps.
View 3 Repliesmy wife just set up her email by calling Tmobile 611 she does the 2 minute battery pull and starts back up and now she gets a java error and can not open her internet browser. I am at work and since we only have bb for phones she can not call back 611 to help her with her phone. Anyone have any suggestions?

This was because when synching to my laptop, the device manager software indicated updates available. I've previously upgraded to v5.0 no problem.However, during the update, a very aptly named "fatal error" occurred. my Bberry is now UNUSABLE! The LED is flashing red (twice, then pause, repeatedly).I've removed the battery - to no avail!

I downloaded it and i get an error message which is as follows (upgrade your service to a plan that includes browsing and discover a world of possibilties at BlackBerry App World. Contact your service provider for more details). I have the blackberry personal plan, I can browse the internet, but the app world still wont work. I know its not a location issue because my coworker has the Bold 9000 and the same plan as me and his works fine. I have also tried unistalling and reinstalling the app, hard shock etc etc. So what the heck is the issue.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. I'm unable to access Blackberry protect and 'my world' in Blackberry App World, or do anything that involves using my BB ID on my phone

can i delete or install the mod ( if its the source of the problem ) to fix it? since i dont have any backup ..I'm using Bold 9700( phone cannot be connected to DM due to the white screen App error 523 and it appears even if i restarted the phone in the safe mode )
I continue to be unable to access App World on my ATT 9700. I get the TCP receive time out message or simply the loading bar. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Well i have had my phone for months and not one time have i been able to access my app world from my phone i continually receive and error message after i input my log in information in. It is a complete waste of my monthly charges not being able to have full access to my phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEvery so often, I'll get a new incoming SMS, and when I try to go to the inbox to view it, I get the dreaded java.lang.NullPointerException.
Pulling the battery fixes it, but only for a little while. At best, it works for 2-3 days before it happens again. Sometimes, like today, it doesn't even last one day: I already pulled it about 3-4 hours ago, and just had this issue again.
It's extremely frustrating, because rebooting after reinserting the battery takes 5 minutes, and I have to do it immediately to read the message I just received!
I tried updating the OS, but this has had no effect.
Has anyone else experienced this with their 9700? I'm on AT&T and am running 5.0.0.405.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm getting this error immediately after I enter my password just once after a device reboot.I know this is an error that is thrown by an application but my problem is I cannot determine which one. I used the device switch wizard to switch from a Bold 9700 with OS5 and a fair number of apps installed. I used app world to delete everything that was not a Research in Motion created app, rebooted, then cleanly reinstalled a subset of the 3rd party apps. The error persisted even when only RIM created software was installed.How do I determine which application is throwing this error? I tried looking at the system log, the error is there but with no detail as to which module or app is causing it.

When I go to the Login Screen @ My World in Apps I cant enter my Blackberry ID, I noticed the small padalock on the top right of the screen is now locked, its been like this for 4 days now.
