BB Bold 9700 :: Downloaded .656 / Doesn't Show Up In DM Under Available Updates
May 21, 2010I've downloaded .656, then extract it...but it doesn't show up in DM under my available updates.Only .330 and .586 show up.(T-Mobile)I upgraded to .586 no problem but now I want to try .656.Where is it?Or is there a .exe file someplace that I should be running?

May 11, 2010I've just tried to update my BBerry to v5.0 via a USB cable connected to my laptop. This was because when synching to my laptop, the device manager software indicated updates available. I've previously upgraded to v5.0 no problem.However, during the update, a very aptly named "fatal error" occurred. my Bberry is now UNUSABLE! The LED is flashing red (twice, then pause, repeatedly).I've removed the battery - to no avail!

Aug 10, 2010I have 26 days 9 hours usage and 26 days 14 hours standby. 68%. Not charged since last full charge. Was on Bluetooth this morning, turned off Bluetooth and my time on my phone went off by 7 hours and my usage time went to what I wrote above.

BB Bold 9700 :: Bold 9700 - Outlook Calendar And Contacts - Not Let Select Yes On Wireless Connection
Jan 13, 2010I got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.

Sep 3, 2010I have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

Aug 21, 2010My Bold is stuck on the boot screen (at about 75%). I've tried many battery pulls with and without the SIM and it keeps doing the same thing. I've searched what I think are all the threads on here relating to this, but I'm still stuck. I'm able to connect to the device if I run Loader.exe like a user suggested, but I don't know how/where to get software to load onto the device. All the places I've searched for an OS says I need to go into the device to find information about it. Well, I can't get into the device to do that. So, how do I know what OS to download and install? I really want to exhaust all possibilities before I have to completely wipe the device because I don't have a current backup. But, even if I wipe the device, I'm going to need to download an OS which I can't do now.

Jun 2, 2010I have recently purchased this 9700 (3 weeks ago) and am generally very pleased with the device. BUT If I leave the BB 9700 connected overnight to the computers USB Port for charging, and, obviously, after a few hours the computer will go to sleep, thus turning off the power to the USB port In the morning I find that the BB is: Off and will not turn on, unless it is power reset. In other words I have to open up the back and pull the battery for a second then after It is put back in the red light will display nevertheless it will turn on and be fine once it boots back up. There are no other indications or problems. I notice that other people have similar complaints with their BB's.

It asked me to run an software update warning it would take 2 hrs or more and I wouldn't be able to make phone calls etc during that time. It has sat at 9% 5 mins into the upgrade, I have now even attached it to my laptop hoping it would speed the process up. It currently has series 7 bundle 1465 and is updating to series 7 bundle 2406 (I have that from desktop). I am doing it right and it'll be ok if I leave it running overnight - it won't let me reset it so I am stuck in a loop.
