I used to have the Call Forwarding Menu in options in Phone, but after a couple updates of the OS, I've noticed it's gone. All I have is:
General Options
Voice Mail
Call Loggin
Smart Dialing
Speed Dial Numbers
TTY
Enhanced Audio
Sounds
Any clue how to get the Call Forwarding menu back?
The service is there coz i called the carrier and confirmed that i have it and i can forward called on other phones with the same sim card. But theres "call forwarding" option on my blackberry. btw the device is unlocked. Does it have anything to do with Service Book or becoz its unlocked?

View 7 Replies View RelatedAfter receiving a replacement Tour, I performed the device switch wizard, and all came through fine except...I no longer have the notepad icon, looked everywhere..."show all", options - > Applications -> All and I can't find it.I also can't find a setting for my phone, or desktop software that will allow me to accept meeting requests.
View 4 Replies View RelatedPretty happy as I just got my Tour switching from an 8130 Pearl. Stupid question, but does anybody know how to change the "my number" in the phone menu. I just switched from Verizon over to Sprint to save some money and had my old number ported over. Everything is working fine, but the number still shows up as the temporary one sent to me in the phone menu.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Tour used. I havent activated it yet but through my laptop I installed all my info (contacts etc..) through the desktop manager. The service provider is Sprint. I have noticed that there are some apps/icons missing from the menu. Most importantly there is no web/internet icon/app and no BlackBerry app world icon/app. There are also others missing, Pandora, Sprint Nav, Sprint TV and a few others. These I am pretty sure I can download for free, but what about the web and app world? Why are they missing? Is it because the phone is not activated yet?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy husband got his Tour yesterday and it was technically used for a day but is esentially considered new. He was playing with his phone last night and he notices when he goes to a certain menu the trackball messes up but if he exits out it's fine it's just the one menu. I told him to take it back to the store and let them know but the blackberry guy wasn't in so we have to wait. We have a 30 day in-store warranty but they said trackball issues they'll just repair and send it back to him themselves.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a BlackBerry Tour on a local CDMA carrier.They recently posted the download that allowed me to upgrade from OS 4.7 to 5.0.0.624. The upgrade appeared to go smoothly and I am back in business with OS 5. The only (BIG) issue is that I have lost the ability to tether. I used to be able to tether via bluetooth with Windows DUN using #777. Now when I attempt to connect I get:Error 678: The remove computer did not respond
I am able to connect to the phone via bluetooth and Sync via BB DM. I can also query the bluetooth modem via control panel.Any suggestions? Has my ISP finally cut off tethering? Is it an OS issue?The only option that I can see is to downgrade back to OS 4.7 unless anyone has any suggestions.
I previously owned an 8830 World Edition and recently bought the 9630 Tour. I had the the guy at Sprint transfer everything from the 8830 to the 9630. I gave my wife the 8830 and she had her old phone transferred to the 8830. I realized the I did not have my passwords in my password keeper on the new 9630 so I connected the 9630 to the laptop with the old desktop manager. I recovered my passwords but now I have my wife's contacts in my phone and I can't recover my contacts. If anyone could provide a solution.

Can't stand what it did to all my icons, moved stuff around, etc. I cannot find my icon for the screen/keyboard lock. I don't know what other buttons I can press that would lock my screen so that it doesnt press buttons when its in my purse. help me lock my screen/keyboard!
View 10 Replies View RelatedI used to use the left convenience key to lock the device, but after upgrading to 5.0, that function has disappeared. The only way I can lock my device now is by pressing the top lock button, which only locks the keyboard. Am I missing something?

View 12 Replies View RelatedOK I had to call 911 last night for the first time on my new BB after witnessing a Hit & Run, and when later filling out a statement for the police, They wanted the time of the accident in my statment. Well i went to my BB to look up in the call Log to see what time i called, but the 911 Call dose not show up in the call log.
Is this normal? Is there another way to find the call log info for that call, or dose BB not keep records of it? I Just got my BB late dec so I'm still faiirly new to BB's
When I make a call there is a box near the volume that has 5 x's in it. It reminds me of dice. Any clue what it can be? I was going to go Verizon store tomorrow.

I have set the settings in the options (Ring Tones/Alerts), but it does not beep while in a call. I have also noticed that there is a setting for each contact to alert in a call (default set to no). However, shouldn't the setting in the options menu menu override that if it is set to notify in call?

The reason I ask is I will be in the United States from July 30 - August 27, however I already purchased an American calling plan that gives me 100 roaming free minutes when I make or recieve a call. Anyway it also turns out my number is 1 digit off from the University of Toronto, so there have been a few times when I got phone calls from people thinking that's who they are calling. Now the reason why I am asking is if I can ignore some calls is just incase I see a phone number I don't know while I am in the United States, so I don't want to pick it up and I don't want it going to my voice mail incase they leave me one and then I need to call it and delete it.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI am receiving emails just fine. When trying to forward, I merely hit the blackberry key and forward comes up with other options. I scroll to forward and then it wants the email address I want to forward to. After entering the email address, no matter which key I hit, Blackberry key or scroll button, I only get two choices...."Save Draft" and "Full Menu". I then click on Full Menu and there is no option to "send."
