BB Curve :: Forwarding Email - No Send Option In Full Menu
Oct 26, 2012
I am receiving emails just fine. When trying to forward, I merely hit the blackberry key and forward comes up with other options. I scroll to forward and then it wants the email address I want to forward to. After entering the email address, no matter which key I hit, Blackberry key or scroll button, I only get two choices...."Save Draft" and "Full Menu". I then click on Full Menu and there is no option to "send."
On my 9000, and I thought on my Torch as well - until today - there was a subpage in mail options called message services which permitted you to select which email account settings to modify (for example BES or BIS). Then once I selected my BES account there was an option to "send email to handheld" or not. Something I turned off every evening and back on in the morning (don't want work emails bugging me all night).BUT, now I can't find where that option is on my Torch. Very strange. I've searched everywhere, I think. Any help would be great. At minimum, will someone who has multiple email accounts (BES) check their Torch to see if the setting I refer to is there? I'm not sure If I messed something up which caused the option to disappear. At a minimum, will someone who has multiple email accounts check their Torch to see if the setting I refer to is there? I had a pearl for a few years and just upgraded to the curve a few days ago. The problem is I can't reply to emails. After I receive an email I can select reply and type in my response. I then press the menu key and the only options that come up are "help, save draft, flag, Add to:, Add CC,,etc" I can fwd the email and I can send a new email. For some reason I can reply with my hotmail account no problem but not with my gmail account. This all worked fine on my pearl.
I am having problems with my Curve 8530, for some reason I cant forward email to another email address, it is not displaying the "Send" option on the menu I also noticed that before when I used to start typing an email address the phone used to give me all the names with the first few letters but I don't get that anymore. I didn't make any changes to my emails accounts.
Whenever I open ANY email, it gives me a message saying "More available". I have to choose the "More" or "More all" option from the menu key in order to get my email text. The option of "Auto more" in General settings is turned ON. What is the fix to this issue? It never used to happen, then all of a sudden it's there.

I have recently done a device switch to my new BB and two email accounts were part of the switch transfer.
One works fine, however my gmail acount has not been receiving messages. When I go into setup email I constantly get 'Cannot connect to server' and then it exits back to the setup menu. This means I cannot edit any email profile I have. Removing the battery and restarting has no effect.
Any way to delete the offending email account and re-add or getting it working.

One of our employees just got a new AT&T BB 8520. By default, it goes to the "short home screen" where it only shows one row of icons instead of the full menu screen. Is there some way to disable this so it will show the full home screen by default and not require you to press the menu button to see it?
I am currently experiencing problems forwarding emails with attachments - If I receive an email with attachments and wish to forward to another email address, the recipient only receives the main body of the email - not the attachments - I can open the attachments on my handset without any problems
I am unable to receive videos via Bluetooth because when I go Media >>>> Media Type >>>> Options, I don't see the "Receive via Bluetooth option. My Bluetooth is turned on and our phones are paired, but the menu option is missing on my phone. What could be wrong, and how can I fix it, will doing a factory reset to reset the phone back to v5 and then reinstalling 6 OS fix this problem.
I have a Blackberry Curve 9300. I've had it for about 2 months and this week its gone wrong. When selecting a menu option the selector controls itself and flips from one icon to another. When texting I will be writing a message and it will scroll up to previous messages uncontrollably.
My 8520 curve doesn't allow me the option to explore when pressing the menu key. I assumed it had to do with the theme I had installed, as my brother's phone (which has no theme) gave him the option to explore the media folder. I removed the theme and reset defaults but still no option to explore. I wanted to rename some of my media files by accessing the files folder in the application folder but when I want to rename it warns that changing it will make it unreadable.
No matter how hard I look I simply cannot find the select runtime option in the developer's menu to switch to ART. It's simply not there. I have a Rogers LG G3 and the device performance has been pretty sluggish since I bought the thing.

Even before the 'big crash' my daughters BBM didn't work. I have tried all the resets there are even uninstalled it, re-installed it etc. When I first got the phone 18 months ago it worked fine. Now wont send, wont receive, can't see anyone's pictures in the menu's. Got wi-fi, got credit, on Curve 8520
Starting today for some reason, I can only compose text messages but can't send them because the option just no longer is there. I can spell check but can't compose.I can't delete the message threads either. That option appears but doesn't function.Any ideas? Very frustrating! Up until the Blackberry Curve was perfect.
