BB Tour 9630 :: No Email Send Option
May 12, 2010If its not one thing its another with this very sad sad device.Send option majically disappared from my menu ,any ideas how make it re-appear so I can send emails?

Jun 5, 2010For some reason i don't have the option to "send" email anymore. I can compose them but the "send" option is gone. Does anyone know how to get this back or what has happened.

Jul 12, 2010I just got the phone, when i send a message, I send it to all messages I have in inbox. I mean I cant have like all messages separetly, they all go to 1 message like a chat and I cant answer to just 1 person. I saw some videos that send me to options, sms and email inbox, but I dont have that option. What can I do plz help me.

Jan 19, 2010I understand the steps to generate and auto signature - Go to email, click menu/options/email settings/auto signature ON, and type in your signature. However when I click on Email Settings there is no option for Auto Signature. The only options are:
Enable HTML email yes/no
Download Images Automatically yes/no
Confirm Delivery yes/no
Confirm Read yes/no
Send Read Receipts yes/no
There is no mention of auto signature.
BB Tour 9630 :: No Longer Able To Send A New Email
Jun 10, 2010Two-three days ago I could send emails new, reply to older ones, etc,Today my Tour just will not send new emails. I can reply to older ones...I cn SMS and MMS.When I try to send...The only option offered is to "save as draft" and when I do...the email address is wiped or missing.
I'm on OS 5 Verizon.
I haven't changed any settings recently. I've pulled the battery several times.
BB Tour 9630 :: Email - Not Able To Send New Emails - Only Able To Receive And Reply
Jun 9, 2010I use the Tour on the Verizon network. This morning I went to start a new email and usually I type the first letter and all contacts starting with a letter J for example will come up - - But nothing comes up! I checked my phonebook and all contacts are in there like normal, but my email won't pick any up. I can type the whole name of a person I want to email and it's not linking it to my contact list/phone book like normal.

Feb 21, 2010I upgraded my Tour 9630 (unlocked) to OS 5.0. I now have no MMS option. I've tried a battery pull, registering the hosting table again, etc. I am on AT&T network. Everything else seems to be working fine.

Jul 11, 2010Bluetooth radio is turned on. I've discovered my device but the Desktop software only has the option to connect by USB. Ver 5.0. During installation there is no option to choose what type of connection you want. I see there are options to choose between USB and Bluetooth or both, however they are grayed out. I have a successful USB connection. Everything works fine but I want to go wireless.
Running on Toshiba Sattelite laptop with Vista 32bit ultimate OS
Toshiba Bluetooth stack is turned on but it's Toshiba's - not microsoft (don't know if that matters)
Device is found and paired. I have this same problem on 2 computers running different OS, my laptop has Vista ( a Toshiba) & my desktop has XP (HP). I don't get it as I have tried every configuration I can think of. It can SEE the BB but no option to enable bluetooth, only none or USB. I'm assuming it may be the BB os 5.0?

Apr 25, 2010Tour 9630 Telus, Out of the blue I am not able to open blackberry messages (they are received fine) and I cannot start a new conversation with a contact. When I click on the contacts name nothing happens, if I try to "open chat" nothing happens. The only way to send a message is to "Broadcast Message". I have no problems with email or SMS.

Sep 4, 2010I got a replacement phone from insurance and then restored it - it came w. OS 5.0.0.732However, all the new email that i receive only let me "delete or cancel".I have the correct setting for the Email reconciliation:
Delete On: Prompt
Wireless Reconcile: On
On Conflicts: Mailbox Wins
Any help would be really appreciated. I know other people have reported this problem w. different OS's on different phones.

Feb 3, 2010Just did a battery pull with OS 5.0.0.419 and for the first time since the upgrade there was no email about registering with the network after the unit booted up!! Maybe it stops after a while.

May 2, 2010My schools email server went down the other day, and now it is back up. Between the process of it going down, i was no longer revieving emails on my phone, so I deleted the account in hopes to simply re-add it and be back in business.Now that I deleted it, im not able to re-add it. Go figure. Im putting my account and password in correctly, and usually it would just load onto my phone. Say I were to restore a prior backup when the email was working, will it be all set?What the heck am i missing this time?
