Jul 31, 2010I have V1.6.0.22 for FB for Blackberry and need to use that on my Tour, because I am on T-Mobile and the newest FB for Blackberry does not work.I am out of town and do not have the cable to usb cable to use desktop manager.Is there another way to get this app (which is in the form of a .rar file) to my Blackberry and installed?If need be, I can wait until Monday when I get back home to my usb to Blackberry, but thought there might be another way to get this app installed. I have a long meeting tomorrow and Facebook for BB would really pull me through it

Jun 20, 2010Ive searched and havent really found a good answer to my problem, but when i connect my blackberry through the USB port, my computer and DM are not finding that its connected. Ive tried re-installing DM, re-starting my computer, re-booting my phone and none of these have worked. Is there something else that I am missing?

May 4, 2010Just got this BB from Verizon, everything works fine but when I plug it into my PC the Desktop Manager software is a mess. I'm running Win XP. I've double checked all the USB connections, uninstalled and reinstalled the the BB software and taken the BB battery out and put it back, so it's none of those things. I brought the BB back to Verizon they said "it's working fine, must be a driver or something, duh".
When I plug in the BB and bring up Desktop Manager sometimes the BB is recognized sometimes not. When I try to use the Roxio Media Manager it comes halfway up but the hourglass cursor never goes away and it just sits there thinking for hours. Sometimes I get a pop up saying " First Time Configuration...., it won't let hit any of the choices, I just have the hourglass thinking. I always have to hit Ctl, Alt, Del and call up my task manager to quite the program because the hourglass never turns back into the cursor. I just want to manage my media. This is very frustrating.

I went to download it, and it says that I am missing the MPTT module. I am running .419, however from following the forums, I believe this module started showing up in the 2 most recent 5.0 leaks. So for anyone who wants to try this, go for it.

Jul 11, 2010Bluetooth radio is turned on. I've discovered my device but the Desktop software only has the option to connect by USB. Ver 5.0. During installation there is no option to choose what type of connection you want. I see there are options to choose between USB and Bluetooth or both, however they are grayed out. I have a successful USB connection. Everything works fine but I want to go wireless.
Running on Toshiba Sattelite laptop with Vista 32bit ultimate OS
Toshiba Bluetooth stack is turned on but it's Toshiba's - not microsoft (don't know if that matters)
Device is found and paired. I have this same problem on 2 computers running different OS, my laptop has Vista ( a Toshiba) & my desktop has XP (HP). I don't get it as I have tried every configuration I can think of. It can SEE the BB but no option to enable bluetooth, only none or USB. I'm assuming it may be the BB os 5.0?

Send Read Receipts yes/no
There is no mention of auto signature.

Jun 29, 2010I've had my blackberry for awhile but I havnt heard about how often you should charge it. Does it matter? I can't let it go completely dead cause when its almost dead it stops receiving. I have a cradle charger I put it on everyday when I go to bed. I was going to get a siedo exntended battery but I didn't want to mess it up by charging too much.
