Whenever I open ANY email, it gives me a message saying "More available". I have to choose the "More" or "More all" option from the menu key in order to get my email text. The option of "Auto more" in General settings is turned ON. What is the fix to this issue? It never used to happen, then all of a sudden it's there.
View 5 RepliesI just get the run-a-round at Verizon..I had a Pearl and loved it for texting, but never used the web on it.Seemed like a waste of money for the data plan.Back to a old phone but would love to have the pearl back without the data plan.Is this possible? I still have the pearl, just wishing I could use it for calls and texting.

View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I can not copy the contents of my SIM phone book to the "Contacts" phone book. I go through the steps listed and it looks like the contents are being coppied but when I go to the Contacts list it shows no contents. I do not know if I did something wrong or the firm ware has gone south. I have taken the battery out and then replaced it trying to restore it to factory setting but that did not seem to work. I am running V4.5.0.182

1. In the phone application, press the Menu key.
2. Click Options.
3. Click General Options.
4. Change the Default Call Volume field.
5. Press the Menu key.
6. Click Save.
Step 1 no prob
Step 2, there is no Options to "Click"
Had to Click "Setting" then Click "Options"
Step 3, couldn't find "General Options" option!
There is an icon on the right hand side of my screen directly below my battery symbol.it is a circle, with a glowing line going through it from top right to bottom left.I have no idea where this icon came from and what it means, OR how to get rid of it! Anybody?

I turn them back on or just make a call to restore the connection but they turn off in about 10 seconds.I found this post below: radio keeps turning itself off which describes a similar issue. There hadn't been any posts on it since last year so I didn't know if there was any updates on the issue or if it still signified that it was a hardware issue with the phone.

I have recently done a device switch to my new BB and two email accounts were part of the switch transfer.
One works fine, however my gmail acount has not been receiving messages. When I go into setup email I constantly get 'Cannot connect to server' and then it exits back to the setup menu. This means I cannot edit any email profile I have. Removing the battery and restarting has no effect.
Any way to delete the offending email account and re-add or getting it working.

I am receiving emails just fine. When trying to forward, I merely hit the blackberry key and forward comes up with other options. I scroll to forward and then it wants the email address I want to forward to. After entering the email address, no matter which key I hit, Blackberry key or scroll button, I only get two choices...."Save Draft" and "Full Menu". I then click on Full Menu and there is no option to "send."
View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought a Blackberry Pearl recently. When i text message i press the "shift key" to turn the letter im typing into a capital. But i noticed, or can't find a way to keep my letters constantly in Capital.
For example, if i want to type, "I WANT ALL MY LETTERS CAPITAL!" i seem to have to press the "shift key" button for each individual letter! is there any way around this, where i could press some "shift something key" to where my typing remains in CAPITAL until i repress this "shift something key"??

View 7 Replies View RelatedOK I have checked other threads and havent found a solution...it could be that there isn't one but somehow I am optimistic. Saturday night my phone worked fine. I go to bed wake up and my scroll ball wont click. It scrolls fine but does not select when pressed. I took it to Verizon, they claim water damage. I haven't dropped it in water or anything like that so I am not sure how that's possible. They replaced my trackball and it still doesn't work. Any additional ideas? I can go the Asurion and replace it but don't really want to do that for something as minute as this.

Can you give me step by step instructions on how to get them back? i try with (Resend service books, or options > advanced options > host routing tables > Register Now) but nothing work. i still cant find browser, but before it worked ok
I have inherited an 8110 which so far I am very happy with. apart from one small thing. The clock doesn't show the correct time. It does not update minute by minute as a 'normal' timepiece would. If I go into the settings for alarm or date/time then exit the clock is updated. but it will not update again until I do this again.This morning when I woke up for work it was showing 10.50pm last night.
