Starting today for some reason, I can only compose text messages but can't send them because the option just no longer is there. I can spell check but can't compose.I can't delete the message threads either. That option appears but doesn't function.Any ideas? Very frustrating! Up until the Blackberry Curve was perfect.

I typed in full email address in "To" field and then some text in the body. When ready to send, I press that "Menu" button and got a list of options on the left-hand side. Everything except "Send" Can only save as draft. However,
(1) if I go to contact list first and select someone's email then I can send. No problem.
(2) also, SMS provides "send" option so no issue there either.
(3) receiving emails works fine.
Did "resend service books" numerous times and battery pull too.
I had a pearl for a few years and just upgraded to the curve a few days ago. The problem is I can't reply to emails. After I receive an email I can select reply and type in my response. I then press the menu key and the only options that come up are "help, save draft, flag, Add to:, Add CC,,etc" I can fwd the email and I can send a new email. For some reason I can reply with my hotmail account no problem but not with my gmail account. This all worked fine on my pearl.

However, the find function no longer works. If I type A, is says no passwords found even though I can see a bunch as soon as I open it. So how does one fix and non-functioning password keeper find function. It is painful trying to get to the ones that start with "Z!"

I am trying to setup a Blackberry Enterprise Server email address on my Blackberry 8530, but I only have the option to setup a personal one in the Email Setup Wizard. I do have a black berry data plan setup, my personal email is working fine on the blackberry, but I need the enterprise option to work with my work's email. I cannot find any support to detail why this is happening.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI need to be able to lock my blackberry with a password and I had to be able to just hold down the A key to do this, but after I downloaded the software upgrade to 5.0.0.508 locks the keyboard, not the phone. Also it's darn near impossible to unlock the keyboard with the mute key because I have a case on my phone. I have to pull the case off to get it to unlock.How can I get it back to just the password lock when I hold down the A key? I've tried to go into speed dial keys and update it there, but it won't let me change that one.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust got a 8530 from my new work place. I can send/receive mail from the work email account. I can't send/receive email from account called "Desktop". It seems to have been setup in error. It appears in email settings as check box as whether or not to use it along with work email account that does work. The "desktop" account does not appear in the email set up wizard. How do I delete the "Desktop" account. I have attached the pictures.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi have just bought a bb 8520, and i cant find where to block the phone sending my id [telephone number] to who i am calling.i have called my carrier because this is a service that they have to add to the plan, but they told me that the only way is to dial #31# before every phone number thats an option, but unreal, beacuse for the 99% of times you choose the phone number from the contact list [or you should modify every phone to have the #31# before the number]i had a nokia before, and this option is easy configured through the options tab does anybody knows where to configure this option?

I have a new-to-me device, after my original Curve 8530 had to be sent back to the carrier. I restored old settings from a backup re Desktop Manager, but now there are messaging problems. One, my setup folder doesn't have an e-mail setup option. Two, in "Email Reconciliation" option, only chloice I have is to change the e-mail account on "Message Services" drop-down. Related to that, if I'm in "messages," my Options screen lacks "Reconcile Now."
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been receiving absolutly no help from my local SPRINT representatives and I am about ready to throw my blackberry out the window.I received a replacement phone for my blackberry that has a missing part and I was able to sycronize all things from the old blackberry 8330 onto the new blackberry 8530.problem is that I am not getting my emails now! When I go to set up wizard, I am not given the options to set up new accounts or to delete accounts, just to sign in and when I do, the log in and passwords are not correct even though they are.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am receiving emails just fine. When trying to forward, I merely hit the blackberry key and forward comes up with other options. I scroll to forward and then it wants the email address I want to forward to. After entering the email address, no matter which key I hit, Blackberry key or scroll button, I only get two choices...."Save Draft" and "Full Menu". I then click on Full Menu and there is no option to "send."

View 2 Replies View Relatedso I updated my OS and tinkered with my speaker (see seperate thread) and after putting my phone back together, the send function in e-mail is gone for replies. I can forward e-mails fine but if I hit reply, I get every option except "send". I actually had the same issue when I first got my phone but it has been so long ago that I cant remember how I fixed it. Can anyone assist?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm sending text messages to a list of people I have in an email, and I just noticed that not all (in fact, most) of the messages I sent are not appearing as sent in my Messages application. I'm sending these messages by hovering over the phone numbers in the email and selecting "Send Message" from the popup list. I then type the message I want to send, click "Send," and it returns me to Mail.Â
What's the problem here? I tested it by sending a message in the same way to one of my friends, and she told me she didn't receive it. Is there a way for me to fix this, or do I just have to manually enter every phone number into messages?

The only problem I have with my Bold 9700 is this; I have 2 email address sert up on my BB. I receive emails that are sent and can reply to emails that I receive. I can add an email address and type out the email but there is no send option. I have tried everything to see if I can alter this but no luck. Any advice anyone?

On my L930 (10586), I was able to go to the Messaging app and send a text to someone via Skype. That is, at the top right, there was a drop-down to select "SIM" or "Skype".
Now, it just says "SIM Text" and "No SIM", which I'm guessing means the missing SIM 2.
Is this another Dual-SIM thing (like VMM appears to not work with Dual-SIM phones) or am I doing sing wrong?
I have problems with my N8. Sometimes when i'm trying to send a sms it says "this function is not supported" (i think i translated it right).and sometime when i'm sending a new sms or answering to a sms,, my text will go to the wrong persons conversation, but the right person get the sms.and sometimes the phone copies a old sms and puts it in with the new sms i'm just sended and the reciver get the old sms aswell. and the old sms dont even need to be from the same person i just send the new to.
