Galaxy S6 :: Option For Forwarding Text Messaging
Jul 15, 2015Unless I am in Ultra Power Saving mode, the only options I get for text messages are Delete and Copy Text. I don't get the other options such as Forward.

IPhone :: Messaging (iMessage) Closes When Forwarding A Text?
May 21, 2012If I receive a text and want to forward it to another person I select "Edit", mark the item(s) and select "Forward". I am then presented with the "New Message" screen and I enter the aprpopriate "To:" and hit "Send".
More time than not, when I hit "Send" I am dropped out to my iPhone home screen. Seem like an iMessage (SMS) bug to me
I am using an iPhone 4s on AT&T running IOS 5.1.1.

Apr 24, 2011my Samsung Omnia phone no longer has the option to send or receive text messages. I know it may sound strange, but when I go into the messaging option to send a message the only options that are there are my email options to either send an email message or create a new email account.

Dec 17, 2015My newly purchased (yet going to be exchanged) 950 is glitchy at best; but I do not know why Settings > System > Messaging, and turn on Text backup is not showing as an option on my phone. The software is up to date.I am swtiching back to the preferable windows 8.1 (Lumia 640) but I would like to have all the new texts that accumulated on the 950. How to backup new text messages. I have to return the 950 back to AT&T by Friday, Dec 18 to avoid paying for something I will never use. Not want to do a factory reset as I will lose what I am trying to maintain.

Aug 25, 2010On my 9000, and I thought on my Torch as well - until today - there was a subpage in mail options called message services which permitted you to select which email account settings to modify (for example BES or BIS). Then once I selected my BES account there was an option to "send email to handheld" or not. Something I turned off every evening and back on in the morning (don't want work emails bugging me all night).BUT, now I can't find where that option is on my Torch. Very strange. I've searched everywhere, I think. Any help would be great. At minimum, will someone who has multiple email accounts (BES) check their Torch to see if the setting I refer to is there? Oct 26, 2012I am receiving emails just fine. When trying to forward, I merely hit the blackberry key and forward comes up with other options. I scroll to forward and then it wants the email address I want to forward to. After entering the email address, no matter which key I hit, Blackberry key or scroll button, I only get two choices...."Save Draft" and "Full Menu". I then click on Full Menu and there is no option to "send."

Jan 30, 2010I have an unusual issue I would like some assistance on since I just got a blackberry, I have the Curve 2 8530. I use Total Call Blocking with my carrier so that when I call anyone my number is automatically blocked / restricted. Therefore, in my contact list, I have my friends or family contacts listed with the *82 in front of the number to unblock for those people. This works fine for phone calls.
However, on Text Messaging / Picture Messaging, the *82 will cause these messages to fail. I am used to LG phones, you have the ability to edit the number while creating a message, before your send one of these messages. The problem I am having is when I send a Text Message / Picture Message it appears from the blackberry as only the 10 digit number (even though the contact has *82 in front of it)...and the message shows it is sent (with the check mark) but it NEVER received.

Jun 19, 2010Here is my situation right now, I am going to purchase an iPhone 4 with a brand new AT&T account. I have a T-Mobile account with an unlocked iPhone 3G.I am going to forward all of the calls from the T-Mobile number to the new AT&T phone number. I also want to forward text messages, is this possible, or am I stuck carrying around two iPhones? I plan to keep the T-Mobile for one more month and use the number alongside my new AT&T number, during a "transition period" with my phone. There are many reasons why I choose to do it this way, rather than porting the entire phone number.
A. There are some people who I just don't want to hear from, so a new number is perfect. (Ex. Political phone calls come election time!)
B. I need a month so people can reach me at the new phone, and it gives me time to inform them, and allow me to purchase the iPhone 4 on launch day.
C. I have business calls from clients that know me by my number, If anyone knows how much T-Mobile's ETF is, I may just go ahead and port my number over., depending on situations, if anyone can offer another solution to stopping political calls etc.

Dec 6, 2014I updated my MBP to Yosemite 10.10.1 and also updated my 5s to 8.1.1 and had the option to forward text messages from my iPhone to my macbook, but now that option has disappeared. At first none of my messages were sending to my macbook but I managed to fix that, however, SMS messages will not send to my macbook and I don't have the option to get a code? I definitely did it before so at one point all the settings were correct.

I can go into the options, and change it and save the changes, but it stays the same. It will even say that it's set to bubbles, but it doesn't change the look of it. Also in the timescape widget, I am able to see some message but after 10 secs or so notification comes - "messaging failed".

Nov 26, 2015On my L930 (10586), I was able to go to the Messaging app and send a text to someone via Skype. That is, at the top right, there was a drop-down to select "SIM" or "Skype".
Now, it just says "SIM Text" and "No SIM", which I'm guessing means the missing SIM 2.
Is this another Dual-SIM thing (like VMM appears to not work with Dual-SIM phones) or am I doing sing wrong?
