Lumia 950 XL :: Call Forwarding Option Not Available
Jan 16, 2016
Few Issues:
1. call forwarding option not available. I'm on dual sim model
2. How to extend Office 365 license to other devices
3. No connectivity with macbook pro ??
4. No Gmail Youtube apps
I have a lumia 1020 running 8.1 but I don't see any of the advanced call forwarding options(all I see is call forward), I don't see anything that is shown in this post
Only thing I see is "call waiting" no other option.
I keep seeing the call divert/forwarding symbol appear in the top status bar (a phone handset with an arrow pointing to the right). I cant seem to clear the icon unless I turn the phone hard-off and back on again. I have call forwarding permanently disabled so is this a bug? Is this icon supposed to appear if you just make use of voice mail?
Unless I am in Ultra Power Saving mode, the only options I get for text messages are Delete and Copy Text. I don't get the other options such as Forward.
On my 9000, and I thought on my Torch as well - until today - there was a subpage in mail options called message services which permitted you to select which email account settings to modify (for example BES or BIS). Then once I selected my BES account there was an option to "send email to handheld" or not. Something I turned off every evening and back on in the morning (don't want work emails bugging me all night).BUT, now I can't find where that option is on my Torch. Very strange. I've searched everywhere, I think. Any help would be great. At minimum, will someone who has multiple email accounts (BES) check their Torch to see if the setting I refer to is there? I'm not sure If I messed something up which caused the option to disappear. At a minimum, will someone who has multiple email accounts check their Torch to see if the setting I refer to is there? I am receiving emails just fine. When trying to forward, I merely hit the blackberry key and forward comes up with other options. I scroll to forward and then it wants the email address I want to forward to. After entering the email address, no matter which key I hit, Blackberry key or scroll button, I only get two choices...."Save Draft" and "Full Menu". I then click on Full Menu and there is no option to "send."
Just noticed tonight when making a phone call that the Record option when making a phone call that has been working for me recently, has completely disappeared from the UI when making a phone call on my Lumia 950XL. Is it something I am missing, or has an update taken this feature out? I don't understand how it can just suddenly disappear from the UI without it being an upate that took it out.
I updated my 2-week-old LG G3 to Lollipop this morning. Working great, except they doubled up on an annoying feature from KitKat.
With my first Android phone, I could press once on a Call Forwarding quickdial shortcut, and the phone would immediately dial, forward calls, and disconnect. (The quickdial shortcut calls (*722065551212) ). KitKat saw fit to add a popup confirmation window:
Call forwarding (*72) All incoming calls will be forwarded to 206-555-1212 Dial *73 to turn off Call Forwarding (Cancel) (Forward calls)
I disliked this popup as soon as I saw it. Sadly, when I run call forwarding under Lollipop, the popup appears, I press (Forward calls), the popup closes, then appears again. After the second press of (Forward calls), the call is completed and calls are forwarded.
Is there a setting to return to the pre-KitKat behavior? Or even the KitKat behavior, with a single popup?
I looked at the app store, and tried several free call forwarding apps. They all send the same signal to the phone's dialer, resulting in the same double popup.
It is really weird, this started happening today. My signal goes down to only 2 bars. People keep saying they can't hear me. I have not muted my phone. What could be causing this? Turned off phone, cleared cashe.
I'm on a pre-paid T-Mobile plan that does not support call forwarding of any kind. Only their 2-year contract plans do. The iPhone Call Forward feature is fully unconditional and carrier independent - if I understand it correctly - but I only need it to be active between certain hours of the day - when I'm at work and where there is no reception.
my iPhone 5 will not allow call forwarding, each time i try, it allows me to type in a number, but that is it, when i press BACK it just switches call forwarding back off.
My iiPhone 4 keeps call forwarding to my home phone. While I see a setting for callforwarding in the iPhone 5, I do not see one for iPhone 4. I have tried entering *73 on my phone.
I have a verizon bold 9650. My network (in Singapore) allows call forwarding, but I cannot find the function in my BB. I am wondering if any of you know how to enable call forwarding?
Call forwarding Curve absoluty will not take a new number all I can do is turn forwarding off or use the phone number that is in the drop down menu in the last step.
I'm on a BB Curve 9300. Trying to do some call-forwarding but I cant find it. I've searched for prolly 30 mins now and cant find an effective answer. All the answers seem to be saying the same thing:Press the Send keyPress the Menu keySelect OptionsSelect Call ForwardingThe thing is once I goto Options in step 3, I dont see Call Forwarding anywhere.
I have very poor cell reception in my home. Unfortunately, I am a support analyst and work from a home office. I want to forward calls from my cell phone to my desk phone. Problem is, i have an extension that needs to be dialed.
When I put the phone number in the Call Forwarding Screen (Settings/Phone/Call Forwarding), it will not allow me to add a pause. I can add a "+" but this does not achieve my goals of Dial number, Pause, Enter Extension.
I have blackberry 9800 torch, my call forwarding is set to conditional..when I try to change the settings to never and save...it is not getting saved...I even tried wiping the device even then it didnt work
I have a Bold 9930, and this morning i needed the "Call forwarding function"....but according to the manual in the Option menu...Surprise no call forwarding option and also no call waiting.I have search in all my phone but they simply aren't present....Since i had some problems in the morning when the phone was fully discharged i put my sim card in another phone and used the call forwarding option....but when i returned to my blackberry...well the surprise described earlier....After some research over the internet i have found and use the code ##21# for deactivate the call forwarding
AT&T x 10a unbranded generic upgrade x10aUnable to disable call forwarding when busy (when using phone in any way out side of home screen automatically forwards calls to voicemail.Tried dialing #24# and says "connection problem or invalid MMI codeWent into call settings, call forwarding, and tried disable Forward when busy and get "Call settings error: unexpected response from network"According to online support the screen after call settings is supposed to say GSM settings, then call forwarding. However mine just says "other call settings" and for voicemail settings it just says "my carrier". The only other spot I see GSM settings is under Mobile Network settings, Network Mode: GSM/WCDMA Preferred is checked. I tried changing it to GSM, but it didn't help, and the "H" that has been showing up changed to an "E". ( "H" is supposed to mean 3G+ from what I've gathered)
I have an unlocked Curve 8320 with T-Mobile and will be going to Italy in 2 weeks. In Italy I will be purchasing a prepaid sim card for use in Italy for the time that I will be there, but would like to have my US calls routed to the new number provided by the new sim card. Can that be done using call forwarding on the Curve?
My iPhone 5 has an account through ATT. I just found out today that for the past year, my phone was forwarding all my unanswered calls to another number.Â
My phone's call forwarding feature was NOT turned on. I never called in to set this up with ATT. They have no record of this being turned on and my phone was never sent a PIN code for authorization for turning this forwarding on.Â
The number my calls are being forwarded to answers as a female robot voice (similar but NOT the same as the ATT voice) which speaks my number to the caller. However if I call the "forwarding" number directly... busy signal. Needless to say I have never seen this phone number before and its not an ATT phone.Â
I'm posting this because ATT and the carrier responsible for the forwarding number, broadband.com, are so far mute on this issue. I am getting zero resolution but I consider this a grave security issue. So my best theory is some app has switched this forwarding on but the phone shows as if forwarding is off.Â
There is no choice of call forwarding options in the N900. For example one can't forward all calls unconditionally to voicemail or another number and leave your phone on. This is the least expensive option when roaming if you want to leave your phone on, because it doesn't involve paying for two calls when a call is diverted to voicemail. If you have call forwarding on, you can't stop it from forwarding calls received while busy speaking on another call. I prefer people to get a busy tone. GSM standard manual forwarding codes (eg *#21#) produce an error message - incorrect number.
