Just noticed tonight when making a phone call that the Record option when making a phone call that has been working for me recently, has completely disappeared from the UI when making a phone call on my Lumia 950XL. Is it something I am missing, or has an update taken this feature out? I don't understand how it can just suddenly disappear from the UI without it being an upate that took it out.

View 5 Replies View RelatedYesterday I set up voice commands on my S6 under Google/Google Now. Under settings there was an opportunity to select whether you want the voice recognition just from within Google or "from any screen". I opted for "from any screen"had the "from any screen". Today no matter what I do it is just not available - the ONLY option shown is from within Google. The 'voice training' is gone, option for any screen is gone and I cannot get it back no matter what I tried.
I have tried it with TouchWiz, Nova launcher and Google Now launcher - same problem. I have tried English (US) English (Canada) and English (UK) as default language all to no avail.
Yesterday when it was "working" I definitely saw that the function was sporadic, sometimes worked, sometimes not. But now I can't even select that option.
I have a 9780 bold , how do I record a phone call ?

Since large update last week the option icon has disappeared from the desktop screen.When I try to access options via the bb menu it does not respond and takes me back to the home screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a 950XL and everything was working fine until this morning. I had put it up for charge early in the morning around 4 and when I got up at 8 and held it, it was hot, and I wasn't sure what was going wrong because there was nothing open. So I switched it off for a while and let it cool. When I switched it back on, the battery went down to 51% and now I've put it up for charge again. I had turned on Hey Cortana last night but since the phone started acting up this morning, I decided to switch it off. It's still warm though, not sure why. Also, it keeps giving me an error about the phone having low storage even though I've only used around 7.9 GB out of the 29 GB available.
View 24 Replies View RelatedAfter moving an App from SD to Device, replacing SDXC with a larger capacity SDXC, that App name no longer is found on device and when I try to reinstall it I get message that App is already installed. The App Notifications still functions but no longer accessible by its name. To load it for use I must search its name in Store, find it then click OPEN, or click on its notifications.
Re formatted D: SDXC card to no avail. Removed SDXC App still exists on Device and functions but same story cannot be reinstalled or uninstalled.
My phone was working very well since my purchase in November and suddenly after downloading an update for the Realtor app it wont charge! I've uninstalled and it still will not charge. The windows icon actually just started flashing and now the phone is completely dead.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSomething weird has started happening to my Nokia Icon. It's been working great but lately I wake up to a frozen phone! I go to sleep, and it's working normally, then in the morning I push the "wake" button and the screen comes on, usually showing a time from a few hours earlier, and then it's frozen. I have to do a reset to restart the phone and then it works fine. I thought at first it was because I was leaving it on the charging pillow but it happens even if it's just sitting on the table.

i tried searching the forum and the closest similar issue I could find was one on a Storm that was stuck in headset mode. I also tried the cut off qtip cleaning method in the headset port with no luck.I haven't had the chance to try through the factory headphones (lost it) or a bluetooth setup but so far all seems that it would work. When using normal headphones (no mic) I can hear my side of a phone call just fine.
Is there no 720p video recording option? I only see HD 1080p as the lowest option. The video size created is too big.

I found i can download a 3rd part camcorder but that sucks. ALSO, I found that when i take a picture with the stock app it shows a check and when i click it it saves the picture and shuts the apps.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use the daily calendar page to record vehicle usage. business activities, invoiceable information and a host of other items and have done since I purchased my first Lumia 920 when they first came out in Australia. I invoice on a monthly basis and by necessity at times need to refer back to information sometimes months old. Yesterday I tried to retrieve information from early September and everything prior to the 19th of that month is gone. I am lost without this information. I am not teenage savvy on the idiosyncrasies of smart phones but I would have thought that if the availability of an option to record past events in calendar existed then those entries would have been sacrosanct, subject only to loss with the loss or damage of the handpiece and even then I thought they saved to the cloud. I've searched the forum as best I know how and haven't found an answer to the problem or any indication of how to retrieve the information.

I have consumer interviews that I would like to record, sync with my PC and then upload to my client. It seems like the Curve should be able to record both sides of a call, but I don't see that feature
