IPhone :: All Music On It Suddenly Disappeared
Apr 5, 2012Suddenly, all the music tracks on my iphone have just vanished. It wont play anything, they wont even show up on my phone.
But, when i plug into itunes on my mac, it all shows up as all the tunes are still there in playlists folders.
why itunes tracks are sometimes just vanishing or wont play and just skip. iphone 3, 16GB running updated sosftware.

A month later, I traveled to Venezuela, the moment I got home and turned on my iPhone, FaceTime suddenly disapperead.
I know some of you will call me crazy and tell me that FaceTime is disabled for iDevices bought in the Middle East, but I swear to God I had it right there in my iPhone.

May 4, 2012Yesterday while listening to a podcast, I decided to check the weather. I clicked the home button and scrolled over to where the app is, and to my horror, all my apps were gone. I have ios5, but not the most recent update. When I check system storage in settings it shows that there is space being taken up by the apps, but there is nothing showing in the app count that shows up on that screen. I tried doing a hard reboot, I tried downloading a new app to see if it would bring them back and nothing works. I even tried enabling restrictions and disabling restrictions as well and no luck. I think I have a backup from a couple of weeks ago, but if I have to go that route, won't it erase my current text messages and pics? I'm wondering if I create a backup of the phone in its current state if that would reload the apps when I restore from this backup. This is not a jailbroken phone.

Apr 17, 2015Yesterday I set up voice commands on my S6 under Google/Google Now. Under settings there was an opportunity to select whether you want the voice recognition just from within Google or "from any screen". I opted for "from any screen"had the "from any screen". Today no matter what I do it is just not available - the ONLY option shown is from within Google. The 'voice training' is gone, option for any screen is gone and I cannot get it back no matter what I tried.
I have tried it with TouchWiz, Nova launcher and Google Now launcher - same problem. I have tried English (US) English (Canada) and English (UK) as default language all to no avail.
Yesterday when it was "working" I definitely saw that the function was sporadic, sometimes worked, sometimes not. But now I can't even select that option.

I saw several questions saying this was caused by iCloud but i had no chance to register if it is not created automatically. I used the one (just forgot how it was called - the one that syncs all apple products and which was inactivated in a few days) - maybe it is because of this? But i dont think - it should not be this.

Contacts Disappeared From IPhone 4s
Sep 9, 2014i keep not being able to find my contacts when i scroll through the list but they would come up when i search. to try and fix this i went into the menu and changed the sort order to first name first as it was surname first. it has now deleted most of my contacts, leaving mostly only the ones that do not contain phone numbers (i think my gmail ones) and i cant find a way of getting them back. Strangely, at first some still came up when i searched but now (i'm not sure what i did in the process of trying to fix it) now there is definitely nothing there. I had not yet set up icloud so they are not stored there but may be in an old google account from my old phone which isnt showing up even though gmail is set to sync.

Mar 29, 2012I have an iPhone 4S. It is on the current IOS 5.1 (9B179). Everything has been working fine, but earlier this week, I lost all of the contacts associated with my Yahoo account. I have tried the following:
- recycled the iPhone (full power down)
- turned off/on the contracts for the Yahoo account
- dropped the Yahoo account completely and readded
- confirmed that the contacts are still on the Yahoo account (via browser)
- confirmed that the contacts are visible on another device (iPad 1 with latest IOS version)
- waiting >24 hours with the Yahoo account re-added to determine if it would resolve itself
In all cases, the net result is the same. The iPhone can connect to the Yahoo account fine (email and calendar are no issues), but when selecting all contacts or even the Yahoo specific contacts, the iPhone is blank, but the account has >100 contacts.

She told me she could sort it, but all I have is the SIM contacts which are a long time out of date. I have at least 50 missing numbers. They do not seem to be available through iTunes.
