All my contacts are gone from the iPhone FB app. This happened a few days ago. They're still on the browser version from the laptop. Does anyone know if there's some oddity FB is having with the iOS app? Pretty sure I'm using the latest release. The rest of the app seems to be syncing fine.

I have an iphone 5C.    Just TODAY, when I go to my facebook app, it stays on for a few seconds, then abruptly shuts off, and goes back to my home screen on my iphone.  This just started happening this afternoon.  Is there anything I can do???

Was loading facebook today and the app crashed. Shutting down and restarting didn't fix it. Wanted to know if anyone else was encountering a problem during the app start up before I wasted my time deleting, then reinstalling the app, only to see it occur again?

For some reason when I say "Call my wife" Siri can figure out who my wife is but cannot find the contact information and says there is no phone number listed for her. But when I look at my contacts myself I see the phone number right there. And, when I say "Who is my wife?" Siri then says that there are no contact details for my wife. Siri says my wife's name but no contact details! There ARE contact details though it is just that Siri cannot find them for some reason.Â

I've done everything that I have read online, and everytime I go to the facebook app settings, it already shows that facebook contact is checked to not sync, yet i have about 500 extra contacts and pointless facebook emails in my phone that I don't want--nor do I want to spend 5 hours doing so to delete them.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI got an iPhone 4S the other day & at the Verizon store they were able to transfer all my contacts from my old phone (Droid Incredible), and on that phone with the names on my Contacts List, it would automatically give me the option to link that info with the person's Facebook profile, so that when I opened a contact I would see their profile picture, all their phone numbers, email address, etc. I was told that with my new iPhone would be able to do the same thing, that once I downloaded and installed the Facebook app, the first time I opened it and logged in I would be prompted as to whether or not I wanted to sync my contacts, but THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. So now my contacts list has several names listed 2-3 times, once I guess from my old phone, once from Gmail, and maybe once from Facebook? I've tried looking through all the settings, for 'Contacts,' 'Accounts,' even Facebook itself, and I haven't been able to find ANY place where I can merge or sync my contacts to get them how I want. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there not a way to look at my contacts list, see just one listing for each person, and have that listing include their Facebook profile picture, all their phone numbers, their email addresses, etc.?

It would have been okay for me to set all three screens back to their original configuration but unfortunately, I can't edit the main homescreen. I can edit the two additional screens but NOT the main (1st) homescreen. It just says homescreen is full! Last thing I installed was the Xmas theme Rugge from the Nokia store.

When I first set up the phone I set up a work related email (my facebook email is different) then I installed the facebook app and tried to sync my contacts. This failed it said it worked but there was no phone numbers or anything, then I added my facebook email and tried again. this still failed.
