However, the only pictures that are appearing on my contacts list are those few that have started using google+.Is there a fix to get the facebook pics to show up in the contacts?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just upgraded to the Z5. My own number on my contacts list is set at 00 0000000000 and it won't let me edit it to change it! I've worked out how to manually sync contacts profile pics from FB onto my contacts list, but it won't let me do it on my own contact details. (Basically, in text messaging, pics of my contacts are there, but I can't link mine to do the same).

I've been linking all my contacts with facebook and while it's nice to have a pic to see who's ringing me it would be even nicer to be able to search through pics rather than just names to find who I want to call.
I have only had this phone for 3 days so still finding my way round it but have had no luck in finding a way to do this.
When i synced contacts, the facebook contacts are not coming as phone contacts. So i cant use these contacts in many apps since they are not phone contacts. How to copy all contacts to phone contacts?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Xperia Z3 and I used to have facebook synced with contacts so I had facebook profile pics on most my contacts. all in all the phonebook looked nice with a pic against a number and a name.
But recently, I've noticed that all these pics have gone missing.
When i go to Contacts> Settings>Accounts & Sync
I cant see Facebook listed under the linked Accounts and when I Click on + Add Account i can see the Facebook app but if i tap on it to add it shows a message "Only on Facebook account is supported".
if I come out of Contacts and from main screen go to, Settings>Accounts I can see 2 Facebook accounts, Facebook and also Xperia™ with Facebook.
Now if I tap on Facebook it will take me to another page that shows me my facebook email address against facebook logo but nothing (no options) underneath.if i tap on the three vertical dts on top right corner the only options it gives me are Sync now and Remove account. I've pressed Sync now a number of times it doesnt bring facebook contacts to Contacts.
If I tap on Xperia™ with Facebook, shows me last Synced date on a new page and also a tab called Application control settings. now If i tap this it takes me to Xperia™ with Facebook Account Management. underneath it says Apps connected to Facebook account. and it only shows Calender (this has a enable/disable switch next to it)
I've looked everywhere I know but i cant get the phone to sync facebook with Contacts...
This worked fine on Z1 and in sync options under xperia with facebook there are two options calendar and contacts...
on Z3 there is only calendar sync no contacts.
I cannot make my contacts sync with facebook.
I have added my facebook accounts and made sure the filters are correctly set, I have synced the facebook account several times manually, but no profile pictures nor any facebook related data is shown in the contacts.
I like the live blink feed for Facebook on my homepage. But I do not wish to see all my friends pics from Facebook in my gallery. Just want my photos in there. How do I remove the Facebook / friends pics so they do not show up in my gallery?

The ones that I had linked prior to the upgrade are still there, but no options to link on existing or new contacts. The fact that the FB contact profile pics would be updated on my contact list was one of the reasons I bothered with the upgrade.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just recently got my xperia x10 and had to almost immediately upgrade to the 2.1 system. I am noticing a few things that I'm not fussy about from the 1.6 system but the thing that is bugging me the most is that I cannot (figure out how to) link contacts in my phonebook to their facebook and twitter accounts. In 1.6, when you edited a contact it gave you the option to click LINK. I cannot find any of this on the new system. As well, for contacts that I had linked before, their facebook profile pic (current from the time when i linked them before upgrading to 2.1) shows up on their contact information (i usually only link facebook, as i dont use twitter as much) and their profile is linked. However when i go into EDIT, it says FACEBOOK, Timescape and a big exclamation mark that has a message beside it saying : Timescape Plug-In Manager contact information is not editable on this device.
i SHOULD be able to edit and link all my contacts. that was the whole purpose of the xperia having this timescape program.
I tried to upload a pic to FB, and got a message : "There was an error uploading this photo". Same thing happened when I tried to resend it, or when I upload other Pics.

how to fix my caller id function on my phone? My contacts are inputted properly but their names do not show with their number for me to identify them when they are calling. I only see their numbers.
