Was loading facebook today and the app crashed. Shutting down and restarting didn't fix it. Wanted to know if anyone else was encountering a problem during the app start up before I wasted my time deleting, then reinstalling the app, only to see it occur again?
View 14 RepliesEver since i upgraded to ios4 i am noticing that many apps are crashing and the phone going back to home screen.When i looked in the log directory there are a lot of logs that state "Low memory".I do not put any apps in background and just usually do some causual browsing on light weigh sites.Anyone else experiencing this problem?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhile some of this is probably because of it being new software and not every app has been updated for it, but certain apps have been crashing on launch, or with in moments of using it. And using some games have made the game it self very laggy, where as it was fine on 3.0 examples being sonic, and madden 2010. Many of the other tasks on the phone seem quite snappy though.I do have the GM version, but the build is apparently the same.

All my contacts are gone from the iPhone FB app. This happened a few days ago. They're still on the browser version from the laptop. Does anyone know if there's some oddity FB is having with the iOS app? Pretty sure I'm using the latest release. The rest of the app seems to be syncing fine.

I am not sure this is the right place to ask on GM iOS4, I would like to upgrade Gold Master iOS4 to mine 3GS right now and when it released the official firmware for public on 21st June, would I have any problem to upgrade from GM version?

Would I be better off doing a backup of my iOS4, restoring my iPhone to iPhone OS 3 and then going back to the official iOS4 or do you think we will be able to straight from the GM to the official version of iOS 4. It would have been okay for me to set all three screens back to their original configuration but unfortunately, I can't edit the main homescreen. I can edit the two additional screens but NOT the main (1st) homescreen. It just says homescreen is full! Last thing I installed was the Xmas theme Rugge from the Nokia store.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if anyone else is getting this bug. My iPhone gets into a state where in the Photos app, I am unable to change the screen orientation to landscape. This is only in the Photos app - Safari continues to work just fine on this front.
The only way I have found to resolve the issue is the restart the phone, and then it works again.
This is not the first bug I've found in Photos in iOS4/iPhone 4 the library can be slow to update, sometimes requiring me to close and reopen the app.
Anyone else getting this?

I am able to create folders, but for some reason I cannot multitask at all, and my friends cameras now work much faster than mine, which has stayed at the speed it always was. The upgrade to version 4.0 has only given me the ability to create folders, and absolutely nothing else.
