Since large update last week the option icon has disappeared from the desktop screen.When I try to access options via the bb menu it does not respond and takes me back to the home screen.

However the upload menu only shows twitter as the social networking app. Can i change the upload menu or is there a shortcut i don' t kmow about? It' a pain having to go into facebook and go though the upload instead of doing it straight after tking the pic.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a new BB Bold 9780 purchased a month back. I have BIS unlimited plan and should be able to setup 10 email accounts I believe.
The problem I have is with the 'Internet Mail Account' option within the Email Accounts in setup. When I click this option, nothing happens. The option doesn't respond to my click.
I know that I have workaround to setup email account through some links in internet and I have already setup my gmail account through the link. However, I would like to have the facility to add a new account through my mobile itself.
I suspect that the problem is due to an incorrect / failed update of 'Email Setup Application'. The version I have is 6.10.0804.1543
Is there any way to get this program updated ? or to get the 'Internet Mail Account' option working in my BB ? I am unable to delete the program through Application Management as the option of Delete is not present.
Blackberry Bold 9900
I have recently done a device switch to my new BB and two email accounts were part of the switch transfer.
One works fine, however my gmail acount has not been receiving messages. When I go into setup email I constantly get 'Cannot connect to server' and then it exits back to the setup menu. This means I cannot edit any email profile I have. Removing the battery and restarting has no effect.
Any way to delete the offending email account and re-add or getting it working.

So I had my Get Images option in my email disappear about a month or two ago, and I haven't seen it since.I can't remember changing anything, my HTML is enabled, my "Download Images Automatically" option is enabled.I tried resending service books, and I have the latest software/firmware version, but nothing.I can see HTML formatting in the email (like coloured backgrounds, formatted text, etc, but no images, I don't get the option to "Get Images" either when I press the BB key. The only options I get is More, More All and Get Plain Text.

I've tried taking the battery out for 30 seconds, finding service books (it won't let me send), and i've tried checking if it was hidden, but i didn't know how to check that on the 9780. I've tried looking it up and every post says "from the home screen, press menu and then show all" but there is no regular menu option nor is there a show all.

View 4 Replies View Relatedmy company recently moved to google mail and i am using a BB with curve 9300. all seems to be working fine except for 2 things.firstly when i go to compose an email on my BB and look for a company name in the address book i no long have the address lookup function. i am sure it was there when i first set up my BB with our company gmail domain.secondly 2 way sync seems to be working fine except for when i delete a message on the BB i get the option to delete on handheld and on mailbox and select that. except it never does. i have recived the message over and over from the server. i have changed the settings so on conflicts handheld wins and still the message wont delete on the server. the sync works fine for sent items on BB calender and for read items. just wont delete.

That has now disappeared. Instead, I get a speaker with a slider bar and even when I drag the slider as far as I can to the left, my phone no longer goes on silent.
