Motorola Droid 4 :: Menu, Home And Back Keys Hard To Press?
Feb 18, 2012
I just bought the Droid 4 yesterday and the keys do not react until I press them about 3 or 4 times. Is something wrong with the phone, should I take it back, or is this a deficiency with all Droid 4 phones. Is there a sensitivy setting for the menu keys.
The menu-home-back-search keys at the bottom of the phone seem to randomly come off and on. I can't seem to tie it to any phone function. Is anyone else experiencing this.
I updated my x10 mini pro a few days ago to android 2.1 The problem is that after the update the menu, home and back keys don't work after screen timeout so I have to press the key on the top of the phone to activate the screen and then unlock it.The point is why the hardware keys on the front don't work after screen timeout? Pressing the key on the top and then unlocking the phone can be really annoying...
I currently use the anti-glare Power Support film on my 3GS. I love the anti-fingerprint part, but I don't like the fact that I have to press so hard on the screen with the film on to type, etc..... Is there any other film that doesn't take so much screen functionality away?
The hard press buttons (menu, home, back, search fail to light up sometimes. Even when I cover the sensor, it does not turn on. I cannot find a setting to turn it off or on. Even at night, it rarely lights up.
I got my tablet today and have been enjoying playing with it except for one issue. The power button is very difficult to press and get it to register. I have to press it at just the right angle and in just the right spot in order to get it to turn on or off the screen / tablet. The volume buttons make a slight clicking noise and are much easier to press so I was wondering if the power button should also move easier and make a slight clicking sound or if all the tablets have a power button that's hard to get to register?
I have a blackberry torch 9800 and the menu key & back key doesn't work when i slide my phone up. It only works whenever I use the full touch option, it used to work before but it just suddenly stopped.
I was just wondering if there's a way to disable these capacitive keys on the bottom? I want to disable it because I often use apps, and accidentally touch these keys, it's becoming really annoying. This is true especially when I'm using the camcorder app, and my right hand touches one of the keys and it exits. Or is there another camera/camcorder app that disables the keys?
I just bought my XPERIA ST15i last May 15, 2012. Well, the phone with me now went through a series of replacement on the day I bought it. With the first store, I had it replaced TWICE on that SAME DAY because of the issue of it, XPERIA ST15i, activating its home and back keys by itself. For the third replacement because of the same issue, it ended with a refund. So I went to another store to buy another one, and luckily, that malfunction doesn't manifest anymore. Now, after about 2 weeks, that malfunction started to have its episodes again. The menu and back keys are now activating themselves whenever I'm using an app, or just the browser.
I've noticed something strange on my Bionic. If I enable any of the screen lock mechanisms (password, pin, or pattern), the home and search keys stop working. I have to hit the back key multiple times if I'm within an app to get back to my homescreen so I can open the app drawer.
had the X10 since May last year, My soft keys, ie Home, Back and Menu buttons stop working randomly. I have searched this forum and haven't been able to find any answers. I do not have a case on my phone which could affect the use of the buttons. The strange thing is that I have had the phone sent for repair under my insurance policy. It comes back working fine. The problem only seems to reoccur when i go out.Phone works fine in the house but as soon as I travel half a mile away the buttons stop working. If I switch the phone off then on again they start to work but if I'm still moving (eg in the car) they stop again. Once I become stationary either at home or work, they work fine until I move again.
Have a Galaxy S2 on Sprint network and out of nowhere yesterday the home/menu/back/search buttons stopped working and the phone is running really slow. It came back for like 5 min yesterday afternoon but then started again. I've already done the factory reset and it's still the same way. If I press the call, message, contact buttons on the home screen nothing works. Can someone tell me what to do?
how to manage when capacitive buttons (settings, home, back, search) lights on, because, when I use my Moto in night, I need to guess where is Home and Back buttons.
I have often been in locations where it is too bright and the led to illuminate the menu, home...buttons stay off, but it is dark enough to make them dificult to find. Is there a way to have the buttons go to a half brightness position as long as there is any tactile responces being detected on the phone?
I have an iPhone 4s And well the other day i was playing a racing game. I noticed that I was pressing very hard, harder than usual, on the phone and that screen began to "flicker" when I removed my finger from the screen it returns to normal. My guess is that I the glass bends and touches the display.
Just the other day, i realized that my lock/power button was very hard to press. is there anything i can do about it? its not under warrenty or anything and im broke.
Has anyone else had any problems with the Messager II / R560 as far as the keypad is concerned? My keypad has become iffy when I press certain keys. It happens mostly with the "T" key. Sometimes I'll press it and it won't register. Sometimes I'll press it and it won't register but then double the "T" the next time I hit it. It'll do this on some other keys around the "T" but mostly the T. I'm thinking it's a warranty issue. This started about a 1.5 months in to using it. I just wanted to get a feel for anyone else having this problem. I'm on Cricket...but I assume this is a problem with the MetroPCS version, too.
So recently my iPhone 4 lock button is getting really hard to use. It's not stuck but i have to use all my force to press it. I want to go to the apple store but I already have had my phone replaced once for free under the 1 year warranty. What will the apple store do? Will I be charged?
i bought my iphone 4 in june 2011. n currently my country of residence(india) is not the country of purchase(ksa) n plus i've lost my warranty card. reciepts are not with me coz it was a gift to me.
