The menu-home-back-search keys at the bottom of the phone seem to randomly come off and on. I can't seem to tie it to any phone function. Is anyone else experiencing this.
View 2 RepliesI just bought the Droid 4 yesterday and the keys do not react until I press them about 3 or 4 times. Is something wrong with the phone, should I take it back, or is this a deficiency with all Droid 4 phones. Is there a sensitivy setting for the menu keys.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI updated my x10 mini pro a few days ago to android 2.1 The problem is that after the update the menu, home and back keys don't work after screen timeout so I have to press the key on the top of the phone to activate the screen and then unlock it.The point is why the hardware keys on the front don't work after screen timeout? Pressing the key on the top and then unlocking the phone can be really annoying...

It came back for like 5 min yesterday afternoon but then started again. I've already done the factory reset and it's still the same way. If I press the call, message, contact buttons on the home screen nothing works. Can someone tell me what to do?

I have to hit the back key multiple times if I'm within an app to get back to my homescreen so I can open the app drawer.

I want to disable it because I often use apps, and accidentally touch these keys, it's becoming really annoying. This is true especially when I'm using the camcorder app, and my right hand touches one of the keys and it exits. Or is there another camera/camcorder app that disables the keys?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought my XPERIA ST15i last May 15, 2012. Well, the phone with me now went through a series of replacement on the day I bought it. With the first store, I had it replaced TWICE on that SAME DAY because of the issue of it, XPERIA ST15i, activating its home and back keys by itself. For the third replacement because of the same issue, it ended with a refund. So I went to another store to buy another one, and luckily, that malfunction doesn't manifest anymore. Now, after about 2 weeks, that malfunction started to have its episodes again. The menu and back keys are now activating themselves whenever I'm using an app, or just the browser.

I do not have a case on my phone which could affect the use of the buttons.The strange thing is that I have had the phone sent for repair under my insurance policy. It comes back working fine. The problem only seems to reoccur when i go out.Phone works fine in the house but as soon as I travel half a mile away the buttons stop working. If I switch the phone off then on again they start to work but if I'm still moving (eg in the car) they stop again. Once I become stationary either at home or work, they work fine until I move again.
View 9 Replies View RelatedElectrify on U S Cellular. When moving from one home screen to another has just a slight lag or more of jerk then a fluid movement.
All the other menus or navigating around the phone is smooth as silk. I do run a live wallpaper but changing to a static one it seems the same. With all the horsepower this phone is supposed to have I expected those screens to just to fly by smoothly.
I've just noticed that the Lumia 1520 (brand new, bought last week) sometimes has the haptic feedback/vibrations turn off by itself when pressing the navigation buttons on the phone. However, they are set to on, in the 'touch' settings (running Lumia cyan now).
When I do a soft reset, the buttons start working for a with vibration, then stop (just to note, they work, just the haptic goes wonky). I tried giving the phone a call - the vibration still works, just doesn't seem to work.
the google search box has always been at the top of my home screen. it no longer resides there.

I even tried a Hard Reset on it, but it didn't help.I tried once to boot without SIM card, and it seemed to help -- but only for a while after which the issue reappeared. Now I've been rebooting the phone a million times with and without SIM card and not seen the buttons working at all. Is it a HW failure?
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn both Pandora and slacker radio my songs are randomly "skipping" as if I was hitting the skip button. They might play for 5secs or the whole song. The only time the problem goes away is when I'm out of skips! Between that and the awful wifi that cuts out just as randomly, its rather unlistenable. I stream music all day at work, and I've started just using 3g because it doesn't cut out like the wifi, but its eating data and still skips. If I don't find fixes to these issues this phone is going on craigslist... I got it assuming it would out perform my mesmerize which so far it does not.(at least for audio) Also, the streaming audio glitches out every time I press the top hard button.

Was working fine before the update. Rarely locked up, maybe rebooted on its own once, ever.Today, I am simply listening to music, and the phone keeps stopping out of the blue and reboots. Happening on local music (played w/Meridian app), Rhapsody, and Pandora. Pandora was the only app I'd installed since the update, and thought maybe it'd caused problems, so it's been uninstalled.Re-seated SD card, pulled batt. a few times, still randomly rebooting.
View 11 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden, my Electrify will not connect to my home network. I have Macs and use an Airport Extreme router. When I open up wifi settings it sees my network, as usual, and then I have to select it to "connect". Which I do. It scans to connect and then, within seconds, disconnects. It will keep scanning and I see my network there and could repeat this process over 100 times with the same results.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy daughter (who lives in another town) and I just switched from Samsung Mesmerize to Electrify phones. We both have D-Link DIR-655 routers in our homes. Although we had no problem using wifi with our old phones, the Electrify searches, connects and then immediately disconnects. I've spent hours checking out the router software as the admin, checking on line to see if others have reported this and I've tried every combination of options on the Electrify. We're both running Win7 and both use our routers successfully on other wireless devices in our homes.

I like the MultiLing keyboard, but I've had one issue that has come up in only the last couple weeks. I'll select the MultiLing keyboard as my input choice, but a short time later, the keyboard has changed back to the standard keyboard.

I just updated my T-Mobile (don't think this problem is carrier-specific) HTC One with the latest sense 6 OTA. My icon/wallpaper customization keep getting reset to default. This happened twice already since I updated. I've also noticed that under Settings>Power>Usage... that Blinkfeed is still draining the most power even though I disabled it?
