I backed up and everything before updating but my photos are gone. I've rebooted it, restored it several times but it won't work.
My lockscreen and homescreen wallpapers are saved in my camera roll previously and they're still present.

Apr 6, 2012I have synced several artists onto my iphone 4s with ios5 and either some of the artists aren't being listed, or not all the albums that I synced for said artists are showing up when I touch the artist. I have called apple and have resynced, restored, re-everything that had to do with itunes and my phone and there has been no help. I have seen other posts of people having the same problem and it seems to be an ios5 problem.

Mar 12, 2012When restarted my computer and reconnects my iPhone, it now prompts saying that iPhone in recovery mode and I must restore before it can be used with iTunes. I am very sure there's 2 backup copies in my (default designated) computer folder, with one being dated 12Mar (the day of updating). I browsed the computer folder while waiting for the downloads in iTunes.
However the backup folder is now empty!! and I can't restore to any previous backup, and my phone cannot be turn on. The iTunes restore button asked if I wanted to restore to original factory settings. How could this happen?!! My Recycle bin has this item "iPhone3,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw".
How can I retreive my previous phone backup, or just return to iOS5.0.1 with its data prior to the 5.1?

Mar 12, 2012I have iPhone 4s iOS 5 and have successfully paired (bluetooth) with my new Sony DSX-s310BTX car head unit. When I search for a contact through the head unit, it will load the entire (huge) list of contacts and allow me to navigate through the headunit to a contact to make a call (very clunky - SOny's poor design). So, it sees the contact list successfully. The head unit allows for me to enter six presets contacts into a list of popular numbers for easy access, but after the head unit is set to accept an addition to this presets list (it displays "waiting" prompt on the display), I need to know how to "Send the phonebook data by operating the cellular phone" as the SOny instruction manual says to do. I've contacted Sony support, and reviewed the pdf iPhone 4s manual (as well as these discussions), with no luck. It seems it should be under Contacts > select individual contact > Share Contact, but that only gives the option to share via Email or Message (sms), not Bluetooth.

However, I am still having one annoyance and that is with sending multiple pictures to others via text.
