View 5 Replies View RelatedLove the phone and hopefully this is a basic operation I missed somewhere, but when I connect handsfree to my Bluetooth in the car, calls work great but when I play music it comes out the phone's speakers and not the car.
Similar when I plugged in the phone to a USB input on a boombox, the music plays from Zune over the phone's speakers.
Is this possible on the N900? I was trying to do it yesterday and couldn't see how to do it either from within the file manager or the media player, not a huge problem but if there's an easy work around/solution it would be good to know.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading to maps a few days ago, I was really impressed, and it's free - even though I had a paid subscription for Maps 2. Today I tried 3.03 in the car for the first time, and found something really annoying: The phone doesn't alternate between voice guidance and radio/CD like it used to, and for that matter all other nav-sat apps do. It is really annoying if you are on a 6 hour trip and the only entertainment you have is listening to the occasional direction from Maps. I there a setting I'm missing, or is this Nokia QC that didn't test the app properly again. The hands-free seems to work fine otherwise; I hope, maybe the new software upgrade broke tee Parrot<->N97 completely.
Others have complained about the older maps having a .5 second cut off waiting for the hands free to "wake up" when a new direction is being announced, obviously this problem is now solved, but I'd rather have a .5 second stutter than listening to wind noise for hours, or switching on Maps every time I enter a town/village and off again when I'm back on the long road.
I bought a bluetooth connector and PC Suite works for everything on my 5230 except the music player doesn't see my phone as it says I need a cable. Can you only use a cable to transfer music and not bluetooth?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIf I want to have my phone available for handsfree calls and hear the directional prompts using Nokia Drive in my 2011 Acura TSX (not tech package) I have to have the audio set to Bluetooth Audio. But when I do that the Music app automatically starts and plays music. I can turn it off (using the Stop the Music app), but it comes back on after a few seconds. How can I make it stop playing music?

The Parrott Mki9100 is NOT picking up the contacts automatically so I am trying to send the contact via BT and having some difficulty.Everytime I try to send the contacts, the phone says, "disconnect current device". And if I disconnect the phone from the Mki9100 then I can't even see the MKi9100 when I try to send the contacts.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI am using Nokia 5800 express music. I am facing problem while using bluetooth handsfree device. It is properly getting connected and getting paired with the device but while making the call the other end cannot hear my voice but I can hear them clearly. Initially I thought my bluetooth hands free is having problem so I bought another. But the problem was still the same. I can hear from the bluetooth device but the party cannot hear. Then I tried the same bluetooth handsfree with another Nokia 5800 express music and found it working fine. Is there anyone can help me to solve this issue. The difference between my mobile and other is the software version. I am having the latest version but the other is the first version. Is there any hardware issue or software issue with this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to send my contacts from an E63 to a Toyota Highlander 2010 via Bluetooth. I have no problem using the hands free in the Toyota via Bluetooth to the E63 - just can't get the contacts from the E63 to the Toyota.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have iPhone 4s iOS 5 and have successfully paired (bluetooth) with my new Sony DSX-s310BTX car head unit. When I search for a contact through the head unit, it will load the entire (huge) list of contacts and allow me to navigate through the headunit to a contact to make a call (very clunky - SOny's poor design). So, it sees the contact list successfully. The head unit allows for me to enter six presets contacts into a list of popular numbers for easy access, but after the head unit is set to accept an addition to this presets list (it displays "waiting" prompt on the display), I need to know how to "Send the phonebook data by operating the cellular phone" as the SOny instruction manual says to do. I've contacted Sony support, and reviewed the pdf iPhone 4s manual (as well as these discussions), with no luck. It seems it should be under Contacts > select individual contact > Share Contact, but that only gives the option to share via Email or Message (sms), not Bluetooth.
Here are details of my "chat" with SOny support (there is not such "Send Contact" or "Sync Contact" option in iOS): 3:28 PM Austin - (C6QB): After selecting the contact, use the option on how to send it to other devices.3:29 PM Austin - (C6QB): On selecting the contact, use the Send Contact option.3:30 PM Austin - (C6QB): On the next screen, select Via Bluetooth.3:32 PM Austin - (C6QB): It might also have an option of Sync Contact instead of Send Contact.3:32 PM Austin - (C6QB): Please refer to the Manual of the iPhone to check the exact steps on how to send a contact via Bluetooth.
Please could someone help me! When sending messages the sending banner never completes so it keeps sending the same message over and over again.

Each time I am sending an file from my PC to my Torch, the phone suddenly restarts and have to load all the standard things again (like battery pull). Why is it restarting when sending a file to the phone. I upgraded a week ago.. 6.0 bundle 2475 (v6.0.0.546, platform 6.6.0.207).
