My wife has an LGVX8700 Shine on Telus. The Parrott Mki9100 is NOT picking up the contacts automatically so I am trying to send the contact via BT and having some difficulty.Everytime I try to send the contacts, the phone says, "disconnect current device". And if I disconnect the phone from the Mki9100 then I can't even see the MKi9100 when I try to send the contacts.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAlright my LG VX8700 carrier is Bell Mobility, the problem is I cannot access the service menu using the methods described for a Verizon 8700 (##PROGRAM8700) DOES NOT work for me. What happens when i type this in is nothing, my phone tries to call the number. I've been researching all day, to get to the service menu on a Bell Mobility phone its supposed to be ##123456 followed by another # key , with the six numbers being your personal msl or unlock code, from Bell. Basically what I need some ideas for what I could do, I've already tried LGDownloader and it doesnt find a model number for my phone. My other idear is more social, being I call Bell and convince one of the cs reps to give me my unlock code that is used to program your phone when you first get it, the problem being they most likely wont just tell you ( need to edit my proxy for WAP that i've purchased hopke.net). I was reading another thread that says to lie and say like, I was in the process of changing my phone number and then my phone restarted or something.

When I make phone calls, I am unable to hear anything, even a ringing. Sometimes I can finally hear people after about 20 seconds, sometimes I can't hear anything at all. This also happens sometimes when other people call me. Is there any way for me to fix this problem, or is it finally time for me to consider buying a new phone?

I was able to access the file system and change my ringtone and what not. Now I can't get it to work.So I've tried to use the blue tooth method but when I move the vcf files over it gives me the finger saying the file is invalid...which it shouldn't be as i works fine on the shine. So anyways - whats the best way to move this information over from the old phone to the new one?

When I search for a contact through the head unit, it will load the entire (huge) list of contacts and allow me to navigate through the headunit to a contact to make a call (very clunky - SOny's poor design). So, it sees the contact list successfully. The head unit allows for me to enter six presets contacts into a list of popular numbers for easy access, but after the head unit is set to accept an addition to this presets list (it displays "waiting" prompt on the display), I need to know how to "Send the phonebook data by operating the cellular phone" as the SOny instruction manual says to do. I've contacted Sony support, and reviewed the pdf iPhone 4s manual (as well as these discussions), with no luck. It seems it should be under Contacts > select individual contact > Share Contact, but that only gives the option to share via Email or Message (sms), not Bluetooth.

When I go into messages and click the green circle in bottom right hand corner and the next screen is where you enter recipients and your message, i start by typing the 1st person i wish to add and his name comes up and i add him to the recipient list thats all fine but i cant find a button or anything to add another contact?? the only way is to delete the number of the recipient that pops up under his name and start over again! i have never come across this in any phone in the last 5 years and even this phone before the update?
