The curve worked fine until about a week ago now it wont let me send or receive mails, when I try to set up email settings it replies (after a long while of trying) I contacted my provider who told me to try a couple of things which included removing the battery and I could keep contacting them but it will cost a fortune eventually.
When updating my E63 contacts, calendar etc. uUsing PC-Suite via Bluetooth, every update asks the phone "Accept connection request from PC?" This doesn't occur when using a cable connection but is a real nuisance when using Bluetooth. Any way of automatically accepting the connection request?
My Blackberry 8520 will not access data unless it's connected to Wi-Fi. Even then it will not send MMS messages. I have a Blackberry data plan and am in accessible areas, so something must be wrong.
I am a total tech dummy and can't figure out what happened. I just stopping receiving and being able to send e-mails. Phone and texts still work fine. I have a signal.Only things I tried was turning it off and then on. Also took out and replace battery.
I'm a carpet cleaner. People send me emails and ask what will this or that cost. when I'm in the field I don't want to clack away a long response so I created three or four paragraphs telling about my services and send them in emails to my phone. right now they are residing in my messages folder on my desk top. I created a blank folder next to it called email messages. I want to put my info blurbs in there but don't know how to do it. then, when a prospect sends my bb a message saying how much do you charge, I can shoot them a paragraph about me and try to hook em.
can you give me a step by step how to do this? I have an 8530 curve.
I have an annoyance I wish to get fixed. When I am sending an email through the browser, not the blackberry's integrated email function, after the message is sent, the recipient recieves 10-20 messages. I sent an email to my work boss and he recieved 110 copies of the exact same email. YES, I only hit send once. This occurs with outlook express online, using two different email accounts from two different websites.
I tested this out again just now, and sure enough, I got 12 copies of my test email to my personal account. My phone was telling me I have all 5 connectivity bars when I sent the message. If I were to guess, this would be a connectivity issue or maybe something involving my wireless carrier, but I figured here would be a good place to start
Blackberry Curve 8520
v5.0.0.508 / Platform 4.2.0.230 Battery pull did not fix
Okay, I recently got a replacement blackberry and used the device switch wizard to switch from my old Blackberry 8520 to my new Blackberry 8520. At first, I had a few problems with the Twitter and Facebook apps, but thanks to rcnathan, that's under control.
But now there's a new problem: email. Neither of my email addresses work (@*.blackberry.net or my personal email) and anytime I try to send something, a red X immediately appears next to it.
I am trying to pair my Blackberry Bold 9900 with my iMac Lion. I was able to connect but can not browse the Blackberry. When I try to Browse the 9900 device I get the message "This device does not have the necessary services".How do I get the Blackberry 9900 to work with the iMac so I can move Photo's into iPhoto, or Music, addresses.
Just got one. I connected it to my iMac and it downloaded an HTC app, which opened and started synching music from iTunes, which I stopped because I don't want iTunes to synch with my phone I just want to transfer what I want to the Phone (BIG iTunes library). 90% of the songs are unprotected MP3s. Any way to transfer/play purchases from iTunes, specifically music videos, as well as music?
I'm trying to connect a bluetooth speaker to my LG G4, but it won't connect as I get an error on my phone saying that the passcode is wrong, do I want to try again? The problem is that the passcode screen never shows up to enter the code!! Is there a workaround? I'm currently running Android version 5.1 (UK resident), will Marshmallow 6.0 sort out this problem?
know how to use bluetooth on the blackberry 8520 properly? Everytime I want to receive a picture song etc. Either from a following Blackberry device or another mobile device it always says conection failed?
How to copy a music list from my i-phone to my i-mac ??
I did it all the time vice versa. Unfortunately my "all songs-list" was deleted on my i-mac and I would like to copy it now from the i-phone to my i-mac !!
I fear, that it will synchronize the other way round, so that then the "all-song-playlist" will be deleted on my i-phone as well ?
I have a new 8520 and the connection to my car's bluetooth keeps on going on and off mid-call or even just when the phone is sitting there. I never had a problem with my old Blackberry Bold and my husband is still able to connect his Bold no problem to my car. It seems to be something with the 8520 that it wont make a connection that stays.
just having probs with bluetooth, it is on and visible, and paired with the wifes phone, but every time she trys to send my a pic ect, we match codes, then it says not supported on other phone, tryed the daughters too, just the same
I am able to send files from my curve to my wifes sony mobile via blutooth no probs. However, when she tries to send me a file she gets the message connection failed retry?
I have a Blackberry 8520 with the latest software. My Bury CV 9040 also has the latest software. Everything works well except for auto connect to the CV 9040. I would like it to connect when I turn the ignition on which activates the CV 9040 but I have to push the auto connect button each time which is not the end of the world but an irritation!
I just noticed that most of my playlists were gone from my phone, however they are in my itunes account. I have Synced several times and they are not moving.
I discovered that my curve 8520's bluetooth can find other devices like nokia, samsung, etc that have bluetooth too when they are ON but does not pair with them therefore could not receive or transfer file with other phones. How should I go about it.
