Jan 13, 2011Why does all the downloaded music go directly to the f: memory card, when downloading music from Ovi Music Store? It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.

Nov 1, 2015When you play music using bluetooth there is a lag or skipping in music. Like 1 sec. skipping in every 1-3 minutes or sometimes 30secs - up. I think the problem is the android lollipop. I used to connect my z5 in jbl xtreme. my huawei telpad running android kitkat has no problem in playing music using bluetooth. But my z5 and my wife's asus selfie running android lollilop there is a lag or skipping problem.

Jun 26, 2011I know this has been posted like a hundred times or more and I've followed all the threads around this but if anyone has a new suggestion that would be REALLY apreciated .Have a C-5 with latest firmware. Has around 365 songs in it now but when i add new ones it doesn't see them.Have tried refresh, trashed the databases etc. Reformated the card and loaded them back bit by bit and that worked and then added 9 new ones - that worked. Played it this morning for a few hours and tried to ad some more. Doesn't see them in the refresh. Card is a Sandisk 4gb - should be good - no bad sectors etc

Similar when I plugged in the phone to a USB input on a boombox, the music plays from Zune over the phone's speakers.

Feb 6, 2010Since upgrading to maps a few days ago, I was really impressed, and it's free - even though I had a paid subscription for Maps 2. Today I tried 3.03 in the car for the first time, and found something really annoying: The phone doesn't alternate between voice guidance and radio/CD like it used to, and for that matter all other nav-sat apps do. It is really annoying if you are on a 6 hour trip and the only entertainment you have is listening to the occasional direction from Maps. I there a setting I'm missing, or is this Nokia QC that didn't test the app properly again. The hands-free seems to work fine otherwise; I hope, maybe the new software upgrade broke tee Parrot<->N97 completely.
Others have complained about the older maps having a .5 second cut off waiting for the hands free to "wake up" when a new direction is being announced, obviously this problem is now solved, but I'd rather have a .5 second stutter than listening to wind noise for hours, or switching on Maps every time I enter a town/village and off again when I'm back on the long road.

May 4, 2010I have upgraded the firmware from v31.0.101 to v50.0.005 and I had the unpleasent surprise to find that the music player is no longer working. It plays only the files stored in the phone memory and is unable to update the library. It shows music files on the memory card that were deleted longtime ago and refresh library does not change anything: always shows refresh complete 0 files added. When I connect the phone to the PC, the Ovi Player doesn't see the phone and even the device manager shows that there is a problem with the portable device (conneced in PC Suite or Media Transfer modes). Done even a hard reset but nothing has changed except that it has lost the applications it had in the phone memory.
